This is a delicious crêpe shop conveniently located on Bethany Beach. My favorite crepes here are the breakfast crepes with fillings that include egg, cheese, bacon, and ham. The crepes are made fresh, served piping hot, and are a large, filling portion. The savory crepes are also very good and many of those come with a side salad and dressing. Everything looks and tastes fresh — you can see your crêpe being made by hand right in front of you. With that said, the fruit crepes are a bit of a disappointment. We’ve only ordered one, the raspberry crêpe, and expected it to have some kind of filling or something like the other crepes we’ve had here. It did not. It is just a hot crêpe folded in half with some raspberries thrown on top. Not what I was expecting and was disappointed in how bland and lifeless it seemed, especially in comparison with the other crepes on the menu. I think that Sunshine Crêpe’s can do better. If they put something like sweet cream(an extra you have to pay more for) on the inside and then put the fruit on top, that would be great. Or used some of the fruit on the inside, perhaps in combination with the sweet cream. But they don’t and I do think that the staff should tell you that or guide you a bit when you’re ordering so you get a crêpe you love. Crepes aren’t French fare, it’s not always easy to know what you’re going to get, so some help or pictures would be nice as well. Prices are fair, although they do nickel and dime a bit. I’d rather the price be a bit higher than charge $ 2 here for cream and $ 2 there for something else. It’s kind of like their loyalty card where you need to spend between $ 90-$ 400(the range is explained below — HUGEMISTAKEFROMSUNSHINEONTHISONE) over 14 visits to get one $ 6 crêpe for free. That’s not loyalty, that’s highway robbery and extremely cheap on behalf of the owner. I went there the other day and ordered 3 crepes and 2 drinks, which totaled around $ 23. In order to get one stamp, you have to spend $ 6, two stamps is $ 25, three is $ 40(you can already see the tiers make ZERO sense and don’t award real loyalty) — lets do the math… My $ 23 order earned one stamp, which is fine but if that’s what I order every time, it will cost me $ 322 over 14 visits to earn a $ 6 crêpe. If I broke up my large order into smaller pieces, I would have earned 3 stamps today instead of 1. It makes NOSENSE and screws me for placing a large order, which you’d think they’d want. The«loyalty rewards» system is asking for small orders and requires them to pay more merchant fees to process more credit card payments than necessary. I should have received 3 stars today, one for each $ 6 I spent. Not one! So for this reason, I am deducting two stars. It’s dumb and irritating. I will update, if they fix.

Wonderful crepes, wonderful service, absolutely worth the visit. My girlfriend and I each got a savory crêpe. I tried the Florentine, and it was delicious. The blend of herbs, meat, and dough was not like a combination I had tried before. My crêpe also came with a nice salad, which was a pleasant surprise. The crêpe was like a chicken Florentine sandwich, but way WAY better. The dough was fluffier and the ratio of filling to dough is better than comparable breakfast /lunch spots. Tucked into a strip mall, I’d definately return, and look forward to trying a sweet crêpe next time.

Somewhat hard to find this place. It’s tucked away in the indoor /outdoor group of shops in downdown Bethany. It was pretty hot inside the place but I guess that’s to be expected in the summer in such a tiny place. Ordered some strawberry crepes for less than $ 5. Came out quickly and weren’t bad at all. Nothing super special, just decent crepes.

Fresh & yummy. Truly fresh, sweet and ripe fruit– perfect breakfast spot before a beach day. Loved the fresh squeezed orange juice(so rare to find). My favorite was the Berry crêpe of strawberries, blueberries, boysenberries & peaches with a dusting of powdered sugar.

They make every crêpe with care, and delicious fresh ingredients. We’ve returned every summer since they opened, because everyone in the family loves both the savory and sweet crepes. Great lunch near the beach!

Delicious and fresh. We had three crepes: erg and bacon, berries and Nutella, Banana with coconut and chocolate. All fresh fruit and real Nutella. Nice staff. Green Mountain coffee and fresh smoothies. Clean and worth repeating. It’s tucked back off the Main Street. Worth it.

Super yummy! Amazing menu. Wanted to try them all! We had the supreme crêpe and the banana, strawberry & Nutella crêpe. Fresh quality ingredients. Delicious! We were there 2 weekends ago and have been talking about it since. Craving supreme crêpe. Can’t wait to go back.

Really good crepes! This is a hidden gem in the town of BB. Hard to find because it’s tucked way back in the dark corner off the little open air shopping center on Garfield. We have been on multiple occasions and the crepes are consistently good. The interior is pretty basic and reminds me of a frozen yogurt setup but it’s nice and clean.

We absolutely love this place. There are so many crepes to choose from and they’re all delicious! I usually choose one with egg, spinach and mozzarella. My daughters like the sweet ones with chocolate. We go here nearly every day when we’re in Bethany. I highly recommend it!

I’m giving this place a rating of five stars as far as the quality of food goes, but I’m deducting stars for coffee repeatedly running out, one of the worst iced coffees I’ve ever had, and a loyalty program that awards you a single bottle of water after spending at least $ 60. And after spending your second $ 60, you receive a free bottle of Coke. And finally after $ 180 you will receive your free crêpe. I have been going to this crêpe shop every summer since it has opened but I will never go there again. The owner only seems moderately interested in his customer base and is a quiet guy that doesn’t respond to conversation anymore than he is politely forced to. None of these things upset me more than the arrogance within him that decided the structure of his loyalty program was a good business strategy. So because the owner is so off-putting and he has the worst loyalty program I’ve ever seen, I’m deducting a second star. Food is great, service is average, price is a little high, but the crepes are still great. Happy eating.

I’ve never had a crêpe before, but my husband LOVES them. When he heard about Sunshine Crepes, it was high on his list of places to eat breakfast. So, today was the day! We arrived in the beach area early, just a few minutes before 8 in the morning. After securing a great parking spot, we were on our way to breakfast and arrived just as they were opening the door. It’s a small place, but clean and bright and we found the staff to be very friendly. My kids were elated to see they offered waffles, because they weren’t sure about the whole crêpe thing. They gobbled up a giant waffle each. I ordered a Mixed Berry crêpe with a little sweetened cream cheese… so good! The berries were so fresh and delicious. My husband had the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese crêpe and no complaints. It was really a treat to have this breakfast and then spend the morning on the beach.

Most amazing. Quality food and lovely family who owns and operates this great little secret with lots of yummmmm! In it. Highly recommend it. Try the frozen hot chocolate too. It’s become a tradition for us every year we come here. Recommendation to have a salad for those who are not able to enjoy these yummy treats.

First of all, Sunshine Crepes is open until 8pm — at least during the summer. We were surprised because the website showed open only until 2pm, so we were pleasantly surprised. To the owners — update your website and Unilocal info, and you will likely get more traffic after 2pm. We ordered 4 crepes — California, Strawberry/Nutella, Ham/Swiss/Mushroom, and Ham/Cheddar — all were very tasty and good sized portions. One of the crepes could have been cooked another 30 seconds, but we enjoyed it regardless. We ordered a strawberry/banana smoothie. It was good, but we would have preferred more blended and smoother although this is a personal preference. The seating area was bright and nicely air conditioned. The 3 women working there were very pleasant, and worked well as a team. We’ll definitely be back.

Great hole-in-wall place to grab food that’s off the main drag! Not busy and quick service — you can watch them make the crepes right in front. Highly recommend the breakfast crepes, so delicious. Would definitely come back:)

Yummy! Dessert and savory crepes. Try them all. The only thing lacking was the selection of drinks. Too many bottled items rather than a fresh glass of iced tea.

Great alternative to typical beach fare. It’s tucked away and worth the search. You can’t go wrong with a Nutella crêpe! I really enjoy their savory crepes as well.

The Unilocal map is totally wrong. They are near the beach tucked inside the shopping center w/the arcade on the 2nd floor. Crepes were tasty but they were overwhelmed fairly quickly and took a while. Staff was super friendly though and I would return.

We stopped in here twice in one day and both times were amazing! The first time, the workers were super friendly and quick! The crepes were very good! We got a peach crêpe and we watched them peel a fresh peach! All the ingredients were fresh and well prepared. The second time I got a crêpe with egg whites, bacon, mushrooms, and cheddar. It was meant to have green peppers and onions but I asked for them to exclude them. They didn’t understand what I was saying at first because they spoke mostly French. I also overheard a woman asking for a restroom and no one understood her. After they figured out what I was saying they were happy to help. The crêpe was very good and I will be back again.

Crepes are good, but overpriced for me. The crêpe itself wasn’t special, and the ingredients aren’t of spectacular quality, so $ 6 – 8 for one is a little much Service is fast and friendly though
