Jimmy’s was a very nice little diner. The servers we’re friendly and our food was ready within 10 – 15 mins. The omelette and pancakes were very good. A great place to stop for a quick bite outside of Ocean City and Fenwick.

Great food at great prices! The portions are huge and I was able to share with my son so I didn’t even need to get him a kids meal. There was a 25 minute wait so be prepared. There are a bunch of super cute little shops on the strip to peak into while you wait. I will say that am not a cream of chip beef fan but theres was so good I actually ate it. The waitress showed up with a pot of coffee before we even had to ask and she was very attentive. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Excellent breakfast… friendly staff and quick service. Smaller place so get there early, worth the wait.

Best breakfast in ocean city. Kids love the pancakes and the chip beef is to die for.

Worst breakfast spot around. I ordered a hot tea and the healthy choice breakfast and opted to add cheese to my omelet. I wasn’t able to drink the hot tea because it tasted like dish soap. My omelet arrived and two pieces of congealed cheese were thrown on top omelet as an after thought. It wasn’t even melted so that should tell you the temperature of my meal. The price was ok but for the meal I was just served, it should have been FREE!

So much delicious food, served fast and at reasonable prices. Creamed chipped beef was delicious, as was the bacon and cheese omelette. Couldn’t ask for a better breakfast place at the beach.

Visited 2⁄13 and 2⁄14. Devastating Nor’Easter! Devastatingly good, that is! Glad to see this place up and running this Presidents Day /Valentines weekend. My honey and I stopped by this bitter cold morning to warm up on sunshine, coffee and great Jimmy’s Kitchen food and vibe. My wife ordered the spinach and feta omelet and I decided on the huge Nor’easter with hot cakes and a side of… scrapple. Eggs, sausage, bacon, hot cakes, SOS all good. Filling enough to hold me over till Dinner. Wifey’s omelet? Excellent. Nice updates to dining room lighting and décor. Danielle was our server. Great service from the whole team in general. Fingers crossed for expanded weekday hours … soon!

Chel and I always go here for breakfast when we visit Bob and Donna in Bethany. The foods always solid — hot, flavorful and fresh. Portions are large, and the price isn’t too bad. The hash browns are always a little underdone and white for my taste, so I ask for them well done and crispy. Also, the last couple times Chel ordered the cream chipped beef it was a little tight and gloppy. Just order it a little looser and they’ll add a touch of milk. There’s usually a wait for seating on weekends but it’s never too long for a two top. The last couple visits we walked in and sat at the counter with no wait and the server was always very attentive there. It’s a go to spot you’d miss because it’s in a little strip mall, but it’s definitely worth seeking out. Go once and you’ll return as one of their legion of regulars.

We go every time we are at the beach. It’s overcrowded and the décor is lacking. The service? — depends on the server. The chipped beef is amazing. General who?

OMG! This is THE place for breakfast. If you are staying in O.C., take a short drive to Fenwick, you will not be sorry! I had eggs(cooked EXACTLY how I like them, super sloppy – yes, I know, not everyone likes them this way, but I do!) they were excellent! The hash browns were the BEST I have ever eaten! The pancakes, very unassuming looking, but the taste… awesome! Even the oatmeal was outstanding! If I lived here, I would weigh 300 pounds, because I would eat there every day! You MUST try Jimmy’s Kitchen! Your stomach will thank you! But… bring a big appetite, because Jimmy’s gives you lots of food! I ordered the N’oreaster, amazing!!! And no, I do NOT work for this restaurant! I just like great food at reasonable prices! All I can say is Jimmy’s ROCKS!!!

Ohh! I’m stuffed! What a wonderful breakfast! Omelets were plentiful & tasty.(Note you can get a 5 egg omelet called a «heavyroller» for less than $ 3 more). French toast was the best I’ve had out in a long time– delightfully flavored with cinnamon.

Came here with a party of 8, but willing to be split into two tables. On a busy Tuesday morning they had us at two tables next to each other within the quoted 25 minutes. Service was quick with coffee offered right away(and the coffee was good). I had Jimmy’s Kitchen Special and a side of chipped beef. The chipped beef was very good, and not too salty as can often happen. It was a good amount of food for a fair price. The kids enjoyed their pancakes, and my wife’s No’r Easter was great, with a great sample of what the place offers. The sausage was a bit different from standard fair, but in a good way, with plenty of flavor. The bacon was crispy, and the eggs were cooked(over-medium) as she ordered them(which is a rare occurrence my my experience). The helpings were generous, making it easy to share with the 4 year old asking for a taste of everything. There is nothing fancy about this place. If you want a quality breakfast with decent helpings at fair prices, I think Jimmy’s Kitchen hit’s the spot. We will be back.

Is there any way to give zero stars? We just had the worst experience ever. We had been singing the praises of this diner to our friends and relatives but we will certainly be retracting those comments after the treatment we received. We were there to celebrate my mom’s birthday and came in early to ensure we would have a table. We were informed by the most incompetent person I have met in my life. He was rude, he lied to us on several occasions about the availability of our table. The servers were quite rude, which is putting it mildly. I had to apologize to my mom for making her birthday breakfast absolutely abysmal. I can say quite confidently that this was the last time me or anyone who asks me about my dining experience will ever eat here.

Not really sure what the fuss is all about. Based on our breakfast this morning, Jimmy’s serves perfectly adequate, slightly overpriced diner-style breakfast food. And the hash browns, which look really good, were very soggy. Not sure how griddled hash browns can be soggy, but they were.

It is a bit strange to me how this place has such great reviews over other diners in the area… it’s all the same. Don’t get me wrong, Jimmy’s is very satisfying. I waited 30 minutes for breaky on Sat with 3 others… we got various versions of egg. Two of us went with the Healthy Choice which were egg whites, fresh veggies… Bf and I both had the Jimmy’s Special which was scrambled eggs with diced ham. Each entrée came with the option for grits or hash browns — we all opted for the browns which were nicely mixed it and shredded(the kind I like). Most of the dishes came with your bread of choice and while I can’t speak for the toast, I can say the biscuit I got with my breaky was really moist and buttery. Delish. The Jimmy Special came with two small OJs and we all got pretty strong coffee. Our server was really sweet, and overall, I have no complaints. But a diner is a diner. Some might say the portion sizes were small but I think it’s fine for $ 10 pp or less. If you have to wait for your table, I highly recommend visiting the Country Store nearby as they make their own candy and sweet snacks(homemade fudge anyone?)

Great way to start a morning. We went around 11 and were able to get seats at the bar right away(although most parties of 2+ seemed to have a 10⁄15 min wait). Staff was friendly, and the food came out in what seemed like 5 minutes; pretty fast, even for a breakfast place. We ordered 2 omelets, a Ham/Mushroom/Cheese, and a «Heavy Roller», which is basically their«loaded» version(sausage, ham, bacon, onions, peppers, mushrooms, cheese). Both were great, as were the hash browns that came along. Portions were large; I got the junior size omelet(3 vs 5 egg), and still had a hard time waddling out after the meal. The missing star is due to the weak biscuit(didn’t seem homemade), and Creamed Chipped Beef, which is supposedly a staple around the area. It wasn’t bad, but definitely not on the same level as the rest. Overall would definitely recommend this place if in the area.
