Let’s see. We were here during the summer for the first time and it was very good. So we went back today for breakfast with friends and is was great again. Last time we were staying in Fenwick but this time we were in Ocean City and wanted to see this place again. We passed several restaurants to get here. Betsy was our waitress just like our first visit. Very friendly and helpful. Fast service. Great food. Good coffee. We had French toast, eggs, home fries, bacon, scrapple, grits and English muffins. All good. Plus we bought a box full of different pastries as we left. Another wonderful breakfast experience! Can’t wait to go back there for dinner and try out their crab cakes! We went back tonight for dinner. This was the first time we tried dinner here. It was great too! The crab cakes we’ve heard so much about were awesome. French fries and coleslaw too. Coffee was very good. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Next time we’ll try lunch!

So let’s see, the food was. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The home fries were raw, the service was horrible and the food in general was disgusting. DON’T DOIT, unless you are high and just don’t care about the taste of food. Lastly, Unilocal made me give it one star.

Family friendly place. Wide variety of food options. Our server was extremely nice. The western omelet was a decent size. Tons of peppers in it. Only complaint is that they didn’t offer egg beaters. Other than that it was a pleasant experience.

The man and I had a late breakfast, late lunch/dinner and really were craving some dessert. Stopped in here around 7:30 on a Saturday evening because the reviews about their bakery items were really good. I definitely felt like I was walking back in time into a homestyle, family joint. We came in the middle of a poker tournament as well so the place was pretty busy. Our server sort of flagged us down from the back of the restaurant and we were sat away from the poker tables. She was incredibly sweet, brought us coffee right away and gave us the dessert lowdown. The man asked what cakes they may have and we had 2 choices — yellow cake with coconut or yellow cake with chocolate. Coconut it is. Coffee was delicious and the cake was alright(reminded me of overly sweet wedding cake). I wish we had asked about pies, as we saw a couple varieties of on our way out. We didn’t stay too long, but I saw several heaping plates of delicious-looking food and I would be excited to return when I’m in the area to try a breakfast or dinner entrée. Service was wonderful and atmosphere was«home-y.»

How can u rate this joint a number 3?! The food was terrible. It is not homemade. The spinach came from a frozen bag. The oatmeal was soggy. However the donuts were okay.

Good place on the strip in Fenwick. Staff gets 5 stars but some strange things: they can’t «get» egg beaters and they«don’t do» egg whites. I also overheard that they ran out of bananas part way though breakfast service(many of the pancake/french toast items contain bananas). Anyway, it’s family friendly, convenient, they offer an incredible menu and it’s centrally located. Check it out and decide for yourself!

On 7÷7÷15 we had a delicious breakfast. The waffle iron was broken but the pancakes were an excellent alternative. Good omelets. Crab soup is delish! No room for the lovely bakery items but hoping to try them next time.

Always stop here for breakfast when on vacation. The food is always good. Coffees good, and baked goods are good. The one thing that brings this place down from 4 stars to 3 is the one waitress we always seem to get who has absolutely no personality. If she says more then two words to you while you’re there consider yourself lucky.

Came for breakfast on our way off the island when our original place was closed. We were seated immediately and it took about 20 minutes for the server to come to our table to take our order. Food was ok, our boys really liked their fresh fruit cup and donut. It was reasonably priced.

I have gone to this place since I was in HS. My parents NEVER visited the beach without at least 0ne visit here… today(fathers day) I took my 3 children there after 11:30 Mass in OC-arrived there maybe 12:45…relatively busy but we were only people waiting and plenty of open tables… we waited 15 min before even being approached. We were sat w/menus and didn’t have a waitress come to our table for at least another 10 min… so now we’ve invested 25 min in this place and don’t even have drinks… we ordered our simple bfast meals(2 creamchip beefs 2 pancake plates)…15 min goes by, no trace of our food coming out… This place was staffed with at least 3 waitresses, a buser and a hostess… why am I wasting 40 min of a beautiful beach day waiting for food to be brought to me by a waitress that smells of cigarettes and serves us drinks cupping the glass with her nicotine laden hand? I didn’t, we left and at the point chose to grab a pizza at Grottos!

Welcome to the 70s! The look of the place, the music and the menu are all throwbacks to another era. Canned and frozen food has been replaced by a farm-to-table movement or at least fresh vegetables from the local supermarket, but not here! I am sorry to say, there was nothing fresh about our breakfast meal. Corned beef hash appeared to come out of a can and have more salt added, my husband’s western omelet had canned peppers! I can only ask WHY? So much potential — love to eat out for breakfast, but we were so disappointed. I hope this place hits refresh soon!

Ate here and it was top notch. I walked in, realized we were the youngest people there, started to rethink my decision but am glad we didn’t. Great restaurant at the beach!

As a local, it is necessary to know a great breakfast place for a sudden drop in or to take people from out of town. We are never disappointed at Dirty Harrys. Excellent food for outrageously low prices we enjoy both breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We love the old world eastern shore diner atmosphere and love how long all of the staff has worked there! Thanks, Ginny! We love Dirty Harrys!

Best Breakfast at the Beach and no MD sales tax! Great service excellent selection fair price. 3rd visit today. Can’t understand how anyone can rate this less than 5 stars. You can even get a great Bloody Mary!

Dirty Harrys is the place to go for sticky buns and chipped beef. The home fries are way better than Jimmy’s. The staff is friendly. The place is always packed. And who doesn’t love a tucked away retro tiki bar in the back corner :)

This review is for breakfast only. We were in town last weekend and another couple recommended this place for breakfast, as it was a short walk from our hotel. My girlfriend had the french toast stuffed with strawberries. They were cooked perfectly and the side order of sausage had a good flavor. I had the cream chipped beef over homemade biscuits. I have had much better, but I will say the biscuits were excellent. The scrapple was disappointing, as it was served grilled, not deep fried, as it should be. One side was mushy. The total price for this with coffee was $ 26,and I thought that was fare. If you are looking for breakfast in Fenwick, I would give this place a try.
