I have nothing to say but good about this reasonable little store. Staff is friendly: I was looking for a baby book, and the sales clerk had many suggestion and helped me find options. The past two summers have had a great cohesive team of employees, who appear to be empowered to work well with customers. Good management. Nothing but praise. With locations in PA, DE, and NJ, and a claim on their website to have«customer service second to none,» I am surprised that this place is still around. Sure, I will give an extra star for your bargain books because any place that has bargain sections with quality books is nice. However, don’t let that fool you. There was one copy of a title left that I wanted to give someone for their birthday. The cover was damaged and when I asked if there were any other copies or other titles by the same author, the salesperson pushed the book back at me. She looked the other way, did not offer to look at another location, or order one for me. The worst part about my experience was when I asked for the manager, to just describe what had happened. While talking with the manager, the salesperson came back and began yelling at me. Seriously? This is customer service second to none? No thank you! What a shame places can treat customers this way.
