This is my family’s second year in the Delaware/ocean city area. We love it except the food. But the FENWICKCRABHOUSE was a pleasant exception. My kids loved the all you can eat crabs and the snow crab legs. The wait staff was exceptional. We had a great time.

Came over Memorial Day weekend 2016 as this historically was one of our favorite spots in the area with possibly the best crab cakes. New ownership and with it came a new menu. New menu was definitely more with the times but unfortunately the broiled crab cakes seemed different and were not as tasty in the past. Believe Scott is still in the kitchen so kind of surprised when they said the recipe was the same. Will try one more time but my advice to Scott and new ownership is make sure you have the 6″ and 4″ crabcakes on the menu prepared both broiled and fried as these crabcakes in my mind differentiated Fenwick Crab House from all others.

Mollie was our waitress and tonight was my first time experiencing Blue Crab!!! She was a fantastic«breaking the crab teacher» and an awesome guide to the area. We are here for the week and most certainly will be back. The food and drinks were amazing and the prices are unbeatable.

Friday April 30, 2016 we went to the Fenwick Crab House for steamed crabs. They were large and full and excellent. Our server Anna was great. Jonathan at the bar was very good. Love to the owners who always care about their customers.

This is an all around good restaurant and bar. The servers are friendly and efficient and the owners are always visible to make guests feel welcome. They are always creating new specialties with traditional favorites such as soft shell crabs, ribs and chicken. They have an award winning crab cake delivery business as well but you will never get their secret recipe. Hope this location continues to satisfy beach goers for many years to come.

I usually order the coconut shrimp, a stuffed tomato with delicious shrimp salad or the perfect all lump meat crab cakes. Sometimes I will get the ribs which are so tender. My husband loves the blackened scallops or ‘spider bites’ and the crab cheese spread along with the stuffed flounder or fried soft shell crabs and of course the go to favorite — crab cakes. The full service bar provides a great selection of micro brewery beers. Also has a family atmosphere with lots interesting wall and ceiling decorations which are reminiscent of the local fishing and farm heritage. We love it! It’s always a great spot for lunch or dinner with family and friends anytime.

Whenever I travel to Ocean City, I make at least one trip to the Fenwick Crab House! The food is outstanding and the waitstaff is friendly and helpful. My first time there I learned how to eat a crab at the Fenwick Crab House — they showed me how to break it open and eat it. How great is that?! I love the crabcakes that they serve. The best that I’ve ever had. Can’t wait for our summer vacation to return.

I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was a little girl and I’ve never been disappointed. The food is wonderful and so is the atmosphere. The crab cakes are my favorite followed by the crab feast(AYCE). I hear the ribs are awesome but I always get seafood. Guess I’m a creature of habit. One word of caution, I could make a meal on the cheese spread and crackers, so be forewarned. Don’t spoil your appetite!

Went to Fenwick crab house Saturday night, crowded, but one of the few beach restaurants that didn’t have a 30 – 60 minute wait. Nice vintage nautical feel. My husband loved the soft shell crab and crab cake sandwich. My crab cake was ok, but the fries were outstanding! Friendly waitress, great service. Nothing fancy but an enjoyable meal.

Sweet waitress and the food was fantastic for a great price. All you can eat crabs with jambalaya, hush puppies, corn and fried chicken for only $ 39! These crabs were a good size and Maryland girl approved. We just might make this our crab feast spot!

I went to Fenwick Crab House from a recommendation from a friend. I went with my husband as a little«date night». I have to say everything was great about the restaurant. Our server Ashley was very attentive, courteous, and helpful! For an appetizer we got the small crab dip bread bowl. It was delicious… My husband and I were fighting over the last piece. For dinner, I had the snow crab dinner and my husband had the Alaskan crab special. The crab was absolutely delicious!!! Kudos to the cook for cooking the crabs perfectly! The snow crab dinner came with 2 lbs of crabs which was too much for me so I brought them home to my dad and he absolutely enjoyed them as well. Also, if you are looking for a nice cocktail. Try the Orange Rum Daiquiri. It was refreshing and delicious… Just be careful that liquor will sneak up on you!!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who would ask! I only gave it 4 stars because some of the pricing is a little on the higher side but with that being said I would absolutely pay a little more to have awesome food!!! Thank you Fenwick crab house for an awesome experience! I will definitely come back to visit you next time I vacation in ocmd!!!

Worst service I’ve ever had. 5 servers standing by bathroom chatting and when you wave to them they walk away. We asked someone who wasn’t our server for dressing and they said«well, I don’t know who your server is» and walked away. Asked another server for the same dressing then the manager came out and asked if there was something wrong with our salad. Waitress barely spoke English and didn’t know prices for anything. Later she was snarky and showed us «well it was here on the menu. We are blind». Crab salad is just raw vegetables, no dressing and ½ a cup of a crab mayonnaise mixture. Crabs are good, that’s why I give it two stars and not one. Will never come here again and honestly it’s not hard to find a good place with crabs on Coastal highway. AVOID!!! Update: for excellent crabs and excellent service go to CRABBAG we had a great experience and didn’t have to coerce servers standing around to bring us salad dressing.

This is our first time at fenwick crab house. We ordered large crabs. After 30 minutes the waitress came back and said they ran out of larges and only had regulars. The food finally came 1 hour later and the crabs were so small. We complained and the waitress told us a regular is 5 inches long. Our regular measured only 3 inches long. I honestly have never seen such small crabs in my life! They brought us 4 more crabs 20 minutes later. After we were basically done eating. Overall a very unpleasant experience.

All you can eat blue crabs… and all is right in the world. They give you soooo much food for their all you can eat deal. The blue crabs are definitely a little light/empty for this deal but cant really complain. ALso, i had their«famous» fried chicken… it was a bit salty for my taste.

The waitress was sweet. The food was barely warm. The crab cakes were nothing special. Should have known better since the place was empty. Should have gone to the Cottage Café.

I ordered the Crab Dinner Combo which included a bowl of vegetable crab soup, four regular steamed crabs, and a choice dessert for $ 27.95. I thought this was a pretty good deal. I wasn’t too hungry enough to get the AYCE crabs — but it satisfied my cravings. If you order the crab cakes, make sure to get them broiled instead of fried. The crabcake combination doesn’t come with a broiled crab cake. Just my personal preference with crab cakes. They have a lot of parking spaces in the back of the restaurant. It is a casual family oriented crab house.
