Dan sold us our home several years ago, but after running into him recently I thought I should spread the word that he is beyond wonderful. We worked with Dan Metcalf at Long and Foster to buy our first home. We were looking in both downtown DC and outside the city in the Silver Spring and Takoma Park areas. Dan was an absolute pleasure to work with and helped us immensely throughout the process.
We had more or less decided on a place by the time we contracted Dan. Once the offer was accepted, Dan shepherded us through the entire process from offer to closing — inspections, estimates, getting our loan closed, what services we needed to take care of and when everything needed to be done. He worked really hard for us and was at the house with us or the sellers frequently making sure all the details were taken care of so that we would get to closing on time without any hitches. The process was incredibly smooth and easy and Dan was always available by phone and email to answer as many questions as we came up with.
