If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have one horror story that has ended my relationship with this establishment. On my way out of the city, my boyfriend and I stopped in to get some iced coffee. Upon finishing my iced coffee I am shocked to see a PLASTICCHEETAHPRINTFAKEADHESIVENAIL. I kid you not. Not only did I have to live with the disgusting fact that I had just consumed someone’s under-nail grime, I also had to live with the fact that I didn’t notice it until I finished my entire coffee… After having a solo flip out session, I was so inclined to look up the number of this location… I called over 20 times, busy signal every. single. time. I gave up and am writing this review. Here is a link to the picture for proof. Fingernail is visible on the bottom right of the cup. Gross. Never again.

This is the only in-and-out coffee place I have ever been loyal too — even if I am heading the other way I will go out of my way to get my coffee here — and all due to the friendliness of the staff, especially Carlos the manager. This is the way a DD/Starbucks/Caribou should be run.

Unfortunately, word on the street is that this DD will soon be forced to vacate their current Bethesda Ave location. Im a fan and hope that negotiations can keep this from coming to fruition… buuut, if in fact this does occur, I hope they’ll select another location nearby! Need my DD coffee-FIX! :) UPDATE…In fact, they DID relocate a block over on Elm! Once again, all is right in the world!

I go to this coffee shop everyday. Literally. I work down the street and they have got me as a customer for life. Yes, it is a busy coffee shop in a pretentious neighborhood, so the snobs freak out if its not the catered Starbucks experience they need/expect. I’m not a princess, and humans make mistakes. If you take that into account, these guys rock. Yeah if its busy there might be a wait, that’s expected. They do the best they can and its always great results. The entire staff is always cheerful, including the manager. They always make my food/drink orders very well, and I’ve never had any bad experiences, even after almost two years. If there was ever a problem with my order, I let them know, they help me out, and I’m a happy customer. Working 8 hours a day always seems a littler quicker when I stop here in the morning. A+!

I go in here rather frequently to get a peach sweet tea after my morning run. I can get any size for $ 1! You can’t beat that! And the service is usually pretty fast, so I’m in and out and can start my day.

Went to the one at Cabin John. Ordered 2 coffees and a breakfast sandwich. When the clerk yelled out something –half spanish/half english-he placed two cups on the counter. «Are these my two coffees?» I asked. He said, «I hope so.» Sandwich was dry and tasteless. first time I’d been there in years. Never again.

WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER. I’m not sure if the blonde girl who took my order didn’t know English or was just dumb or just didn’t care. She took my drink order wrong. She charged me for the donut I ordered and the wrong drink. When I got my receipt and told her she took it down wrong and told her what I had ordered, she took my receipt and didn’t say anything. When I tried to ask her what was going on, she just had a blank look on her face. I waited on the other side for my drink order. When I got my drink order, I kindly asked for my receipt since I used a credit card. He gave me a receipt for the correct drink, which she had processed as cash. He hastily assumed she hadn’t charged me for the donut and demanded my credit card and swiped it for the donut. So my card was swiped twice and I was overcharged because of poor communication and customer service from a cashier and the person I assume to be the manager.

They always seem to be very low on the donuts I love here. Namely the maple frosted and the french cruller. Otherwise it’s a Dunkin Donuts, same as any other you’ll find I bet.

Its dunkin donuts. I don’t really know what to say. This one was decorated nicely for the holidays, had a calendar and some coffees for sale. My vanilla chai was made well. Um. Yeah.

I hail from California, where donuts are KING, so I’ve never been a big Dunkin Donuts fan. Whenever I return to CA(from NH where I live now), I hunt for the best donuts around. I don’t think DD has mastered how to do the perfect glazed donut, so I don’t visit often. I’m traveling, however, and because it’s Fall, I knew that Pumpkin donuts are on the DD shelves. Well, I walked in and the cutest young guy with the most winsome smile served me. He was such a delight. His name is Raul. I liked the store, originally for the service, but when I went home to eat my donuts, I was really gobsmacked. Whoever baked those donuts did it with love. The Pumpkin donuts were perfectly made, with just enough glaze and even a bit of crispness when biting down. The sour dough were equally delicious. Now, I’m bummed because I want to go back, but I’m sure I’ll get lost. It is up the street from Apple(if you want to know). Raul, I hope they promote you to manager, soon. You’ve got a great future ahead in customer service, public relations… do i dare say POLITICS! ;

It’s 11:26AM. I’m eating assorted Munchkins out of a Dunkin Donuts coffee cup. Sugary, glazed, chocolate-y, yummy, goodness. Fresh. What more do I need?

Everyone kept telling me, «Oh, while you’re here, be sure to walk up and down Bethesda Avenue!!» so off I went to window shop and get in some exercise. I looked to my left and there it was… Dunkin’ Donuts. My eyes grew wide and I squealed like a school girl(really, I did), as DD was all over the place in Detroit where I grew up. Thankfully, we do not have DD in California(Bay Area) so this was a true treat. In addition to a jelly donut I bought a cheesy commuter mug, too. :)

Yes, this is a dunkin donuts. You know what to expect. However, if you go to this location on a Saturday or Sunday morning, there is a 95% chance that you will either be waiting forever or will get your order screwed up. Seriously. Not sure why this is, they always have about 10 people behind the counter, but maybe that’s the problem: Throwing many people into a compact situation rarely makes things better. You’re better off going to Bethesda Bagel across the street. Anyway, be sure to place your order clearly and carefully, stay on top of them, and double check everything before leaving.

I never understand why white chocolate mocha costs more than regular mocha and in addition, why does it cost almost $ 4-$ 5 for small cup when it cost about $ 2 for a small hot-chocolate? Dunkin now started white-chocolate latte(basically white-chocolate mocha at any other café) and it’s only $ 0.99 for small size. This is CHEAPER than a small cup of regular hot chocolate or even those machine-made ones at convenient stores/gas stations!!! Almost perfect balance of amount of milk, espresso and white-chocolate to create two-thumbs-up smooth-lovely white-chocolate espresso drink. OMG. Starbucks, local coffee shops and all franchise cafes should shame on you! Now it’s proven that white-chocolate mocha should NOT cost more than a BUCK! In addition to WC mocha, I got a box of 6 freshly made donuts for $ 3.99. Dunkin celebrates its 60th b-day this year so I participated by getting Feb-specials(donuts with love-sprinkles) in specially designed b-day box. Donuts were a bit doughy but at least it was soft(Not like The Nest café that makes donuts like tire!!). I used to be fed up with all New England natives praising Dunkin. but now I’m a FAN!!! Keep it up Dunkin!

I’m very pleased to have a DD within walking distance of my office. They do breakfast well here. After my doc appt last week across the street, I popped in for a breakfast sandwich and coffee before heading into work. Friendly, efficient and quick. Sandwich was tasty, coffee was perfect, as usual. I hadn’t been to this DD in a long time(circa May 2004) and I’m pretty positive it’s had renovations since then. Oh, I’ll be back…(or I’ll send the interns here).
