We stopped in this great store before heading to Africa and not only found great clothing, but really great customer service. This is my new go to spot for active wear with comfort and style!

Items can be pricey, but when the store has a sale(which it often does), you can get great deals. The quality of their clothing is very good. I still have work out pants and jackets that look like new, many years later.

Big store, nice selection, helpful employees, pricey but worth it for the quality. Their pants are not see through like lululemon.

Painful yoga pants — literally. I purchased the«Perfect Core Capri Legging» and they gave me a painful stomach ache the two times I wore them — I’ve never experienced any pant with that much core compression that it was painful. So I washed and took them back and the wouldn’t even give me a store credit. These pants were $ 100. I will never shop there again. Buyer beware of these capri’s.

Lucy, you have redeemed yourselves! I came here looking for grippy socks for barre class, after first checking lululemon, and they not having any. Not only did Lucy have barre socks in stock, they came in black or grey, and had two different styles to choose from. It’s nice to have options! The staff were friendly, and the manager casually mentioned they had pants on sale. I just spent $ 100 on a pair of lululemon wunder unders not even 10min before, so I had no intentions of purchasing another pair of pants. Well, I told the manager I had never tried Lucy pants on before, so she gave me a few pairs to try on just to see what they felt like. She wasn’t even being pushy, and when I told her I just bought a pair from lululemon, she got I had no intention to buy. She was just letting me play dress-up. Or, using her secret business sense. Because once I put on those vital pants, it was a wrap. Had to have them! I loved the fit, rise, and the material felt luxurious. She said lots of women buy them for work or travel. I totally could not wear these to work, as I wear a suit five days a week, but I could totally see myself wearing these beating around town, yoga, barre, and travel. These are«elevated yoga pants!» Yep, I had no problems spending another $ 70 here on socks and pants with the great customer service, and high quality items here!

We fell in love with Lucy during our first trip. We went there for a second time and my partner approached the owner, she she loved the store but the owner was so unfriendly. Because of that, we will not make another trip to Lucy in Bethesda. Shame on her.

Lucy, although alliteratively alike and astonishing a-near another athletic emporium, is not said Lulu store. Lucy has her own personality. The store’s smaller and less yoga centric. Fewer«inspirational messages» on the walls, more on the simple worktout t-shirts. Yes, this store has t-shirts for working out in. I thought people stopped wearing these relics and opted instead for $ 55 ‘compression’ tank tops that fit like a second skin(if your skin happens to be a 12 year old’s wetsuit) but there they were, right on the hangers! They also have things called«sweat pants.» Not sure if I got the gist of it, but evidently they are comfy clothes you can wear pre-workout, post-workout, or post-chocolate ice cream. Not that I would wear them anytime other than during exercise, though. Of course there is also a wide variety in fit and style of yoga pants and spandex running shirts. Yeah… that’s what I buy. Gotta wear the right gear if you’re gonna win the marathon this year. That’s what I always say, anyway. Oh these? I’m just trying on these sweat pants and t-shirts to see what they are. I swear I’m not going to Giant next to stock up on Ben & Jerry’s.
