South Moon Under

This store has a great variety of jeans and cute tops. However, the staff is not friendly or helpful at all! The store is located next to a Starbucks that I am a regular at so I have been there a handful of times. Not once have I ever received an acknowledgement, hello, how can we help you, what are you looking for today, from any of the staff. I don’t have a problem spending money on clothing but would never consider buying clothes here because I feel like the staff is rude.

I used to love this location, aka I have spent a lot of money at this location. However, I bought a dress from South Moon Under that ripped in two places. When I brought it back, albeit outside the 60-​day return window, to see if I could have it repaired, the staff was quite rude. The manager told me to «just take it to a seamstress, because it’s an easy fix.» So easy your seamstress on staff couldn’t have looked at it?
Save your time and money and go to a store and location that appreciates your business.

Great experience here today. Amanda, the manager, was super helpful with a return I had to make. I felt assisted but not pushed around. Sale prices were honored even if it didn’t come up on the register. All in all, everyone was very friendly and I felt valued as a shopper. Very nice place.

Nice store and the employees were helpful. The misses sent me a number of belts that she wanted online but none were available at this location.

I purchased a lot of outfits for myself andwell as BP at this South Moon Under. I found a great selection of Reef board shorts on sale and bought him some pretty sweet lookin’ shorts. He liked them and the quality was great.
I alo bought a cute Marc Jacob beach bag, a tunic top, and a sun hat. THey even sell Spanx!

There are some cute pieces here, obviously chosen with care. However, some of the clothing are of questionable quality that does not match the steep price tags. Very rude staff, mostly over-​pampered spoiled preppy girls.
I placed an order at this store location for some sale items online. First off, it took them over half an hour to place a simple order online and they did not apologize for the wait. They also charged me more than what was advertized online so I had to come back and make a price adjustment, which took more time.
When the items arrived, they were not as advertized and 2 out of the 3 items arrived damaged and/​or with missing pieces. When I called to see what could be done, they spoke to me in a rude and condescending manner, as if I was a criminal. I am still waiting to receive a call back to see if they will accept the items as returned. We’ll see how it goes, but so far it is not a place I would recommend or go back to.

I hardly shop at this strip mall but I really wanted to check out the SMU. Since I getting a coffee next door it was convenient to pop by. I loved their trendy collection of clothes and jewelry. They also carried nice leather handbags. However I didnt find anything I wanted to purchase. My bf checked out the mens’ accessories found a nice belt and tie he was happy with.

I like this little boutique– they sell a good mix between preppy and trendy. Some of the clothing reminds me of Forever 21 but better quality (and with a price tag to match). I also like that besides clothes, South Moon sells shoes, accessories, and swimsuits. Juicy, Joe’s Jeans, Ella Moss, and Marc by Marc Jacobs, along with some smaller labels, can be found here.
I give them 3 stars because the staff here is snotty. They don’t talk to you unless you bring an armload of stuff to the register. I like shopping at the Rehoboth Beach store much better!

This place does a great job of hiring super sweet and attentive sales staff. Like other reviews said, this place is pricey and has more summer or resort wear. They most carry brands like Ella Moss, Collective Concepts, Billabong, Reef and lots of Rainbow/​Reef Flip Flops.
Not exactly the place to shop for work clothes, but It’s best for unique jewelry and gifts for your über picky friends, rainbow flip flops for your boyfriend, and for a hot bikini for a last minute trip to Miami, because you found your other one from the last trip floating at the bottom of your suitcase in rum.
I have to say the swimsuit selection (that includes juicy and la blanca) is one of the best in the area.

They have variety of collections… in different price range, style and brands. Most of their clothing is very trendy and casual. If you’re looking for something classic, this is not the store. Price is ok compared to other stores, but you can find great sale items if you get lucky. Definitely worth looking around for your next new wardrobe.

I love this store. Their clothing and jewelry selections are fab and they sell the cutest home goods/​décor/​gift items. For my wedding, I bought all my bridesmaid presents from here. The only downside which is a pretty big one– is that their stuff’s pretty expensive. They also have a pretty good selection of bathing suits. Overall, I would recommend if you’re looking for something special or a unique gift for someone.
