GOODBARGAIN during DineLA. Bread, salad, steak, scalloped potatoes, and cheesecake for only $ 40. I actually went back twice, because other places were charging 50 – 60 dollars more for the same menu.(The only flaw was the lobster tail which was overcooked and chewy. The restaurant deleted it off my bill.) For a chain restaurant this was great meal.

I can’t say enough good things about this flemmings! My boyfriend and I have been coming to celebrate special occasions for the last couple of years and 2 Sundays ago, he proposed here! All of the team made us feel so special. The food was delicious and the service was spectacular. I am so glad that my now fiancé chose to propose here. It was an evening that I will never forget! Thanks to Chris and all of the team at flemmings for making this special day so amazing! !

We came here for the DineLA experience last week. I had the Petite Filet Mignon and he had the Prime New York Strip, both very, VERY good! I’d come back for more! Their customer service is awesome! 5⁄5 stars. Our waiter was really nice and attentive. On the downside: I would not go for the dessert. Pretty basic. That’s all.

I am waaay behind!!! I joined the Unilocal100 Challenge 2016 — Los Angeles and so far I have only done 2 reviews. YIKES! January’s almost over leaving me with just 47 weeks to do 98 more reviews! Basically, that’s 2 reviews a week. Wow! So for my third one on the line up, I am picking Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. Oh they should be so pleased to be my number 3! We came on a very busy evening. Our reservations were for 8:30 and we didn’t get seated until 9 which was fine. It helps if you’re not there by yourself. Lol. At least if you’ve got company you have someone to pass the time with The restaurant’s interior is very homey. Stepping into Fleming’s feels so much like stepping into a friend’s house.(If your friend has a two level house with dining booths, bar, tables and chairs to fit 150 people). We we’re seated at a booth in the corner which is a perfect location. Though you feel like you’re kind of sinking into the cushion though. Kinda squeezes your belly a bit and you feel like you get fuller faster. I don’t know how it is for the other people there but this is just my experience. The staff was quite pleasant. I love restaurants and pay very special attention to the staff. So it’s always a pleasure when met with quality people who makes your experience a step above average. The food was very good. I had the filet and it just melts in your mouth and nourishes your soul. yes it was absolutely delicious. I had the green beans and potatoes for sides. I’d have to say that I wasn’t a big fan of the beans. The potatoes though, wow, I enjoyed it very much! It was a perfect blend of goodness with a dash of fantastic! For dessert, cheesecake! So I’m not a big fan of cheesecake in general but this one particular one — well yes I say I am. It had a very light texture not too sweet, which I love, and it was absolutely delicious. Overall, my experience at Fleming’s was definitely Unilocal-worthy. From the restaurant’s appeal, to the staff and of course the food — Fleming’s delivered! A definite try for all my foodie Unilocalers out there. Happy Eating!

2016 Unilocal 100(5⁄100) There are reasons aplenty why Fleming’s steakhouse is my favourite«higher class» steakhouse chain: — They have an amazingly extensive wine list, constantly scouring the globe for great bargain wines that are great and obscure; the service is always top notch, if anything went wrong, they are always going to see to it that they make it up to the customer; the food is always great, okay it is not quite up to the level of CUT or the Royce, but certainly better than the likes of way overpriced Mastro’s and relics like Palm’s, Musso & Frank and the Grill on Hollywood; there are amazing deals year round, and coupled with the $ 79.99 for $ 100 gift cards AND $ 25 off minimum $ 50 spent incentives, it makes for some truly insanely cheap bargains; finally did I mention the crazy bar deals? The 5 for $ 6 till 7 p.m.($ 7 for the prime burger!!) and 8 for $ 9 till 10 p.m. has to be seen to be believed. Fleming’s is my go to place for prime rib dinners when they are offering the $ 29.95 special in summer or special occasions. Normally available for $ 35.95 on every Sunday, you get a choice Af ANY salad on the menu(not just the 3 they advertise), a very generously cut portion of prime rib cooked to your order and served with a trio of sauces, any regular side(not the awesome lobster Mac and cheese), and any dessert on the menu(not the liquid alcoholic dessert, but some branches are more accommodating than others, the LA live one will let me do this substitution). Okay, though the prime rib is very good, there are better ones available around town. The Valley Inn for instance, serves a deeply flavourful and tender piece of meat that is superior to pretty much superior everywhere else here in Los Angeles(unfortunately the salads and side veggies/starch sucks). But when the whole package is considered, this becomes one of the best deals in town. The salads here are all fresh and generous in size, I have tried them all and they are all great. I tend to get the wedge when I am hungry because it is the most filling(not a fan of the vinegar they add to this salad and I don’t always remember to ask them not to add it), the bloomsdale spinach salad is probably the best with the blueberries and the fried chèvre! The sides are what really shines at Fleming’s, the truffle mash potatoes, the Fleming’s potatoes with Jalapeño and cheddar, chipotle Mac and Cheese are all incredible. The mushrooms and loaded potato are okay. Skip the onion rings, it is even skimpier than umami burgers. I love bone in steaks, and the bone in rib eye here is my cut of choice, it is fatty and has a bold flavour enhanced by the bone. I get it when I am at the restaurant on non Sundays and Mondays. Usually when I have a $ 25 off deal to use. There are better places around when it comes to Wagyu beef though. Desserts are okay, standard American steakhouse style unimaginative desserts such as turtle pie, New York cheese cake, crème brûlée, berries and cream, chocolate molten cake… Etc. I do not order them unless they come with the meal a la prime rib deal or their seasonal prix fixe. 清倉令郎聽湯

One thing I love more than good food, is attentive service. My oh my, Fleming’s was spectacular. We went for DineLA and to celebrate a special occasion. We mentioned it in the reservation notes, not really thinking much of it but they really addressed our special occasion. The hostess(forgive me I don’t remember her name) was spectacular. i really got the feeling that they make an effort to make you happy with their service, not just their food. Speaking of which… You can’t come to a steakhouse and not have steak. That’s sacrilegious, who does that? The filet mignon was so tender and perfectly seasoned. You could really taste the meat, not just overwhelming seasoning. I personally appreciate when the meat is allowed to shine through. No steak sauce needed. EVER. We also had the lobster tail. OH. MY. GOSH. Ok, now I know why people order something other than steak at a steakhouse. It was delicious, buttery, sweet, and perfectly cooked. Great food and equally great service. I will definitely be celebrating more special occasions here.

Had the DineLA special. I had the soup while my buddy had the salad. Nothing to write home about but it wasn’t anything bad. Filet was very good, cooked to perfection.(medium to medium well). The flemings potatoes were a good treat with the filet. I had the cheesecake dessert but it was meh. Overall a good environment and service was good. Good deal for DineLA

Believe it or not, this is my first DineLA experience. I’m not into prefix dinners or when notable restaurants tries to drive all types of crowd. I promised BF that one day I will give it a try and I picked this place due to the location and BF is a meat and potatoes man. Ambiance: had a more upscale vibe to it then the other locations. I’m a sucker for dim lights. We got placed at a big booth which was intimate, while we watched Carolina kick ass. I’m a big fan when my server knows the wine list. Cory, the bartender was assisting at our table. I decided to support a Washington red & he suggested«Seven Falls»…totally yum! Will look into how to get a case of it. Food: my pork chop was fit to feed 2 of me. The sauce was sweet and savory which blended well with the pork chop. BF got the fillet mignon but it look small and not too appealing. I took a few bites of my pork chop and gave it to BF. He ate more of the sides than his fillet mignon LOL. Dessert: carrot cake & carrot cake were alright. I’ve had better.

It’s LA Restaurant Week! It’s a chance to dine at a higher end restaurant for less. Our choice for this year was dinner at Fleming’s in Beverly Hills. For $ 39 we got the following menu: Choice of starter: Soup or Fleming’s signature salad Choice of Petite Filet(8 oz), Double cut pork chop, Salmon or 16 oz rib eye(upcharge $ 10). Choice of side dish: Fleming’s potatoes or Spicy Thai green beans Choice of dessert: Cheesecake or carrot cake Stephen had the filet, while I upgraded my entrée to the rib eye. The meat alone started at $ 39.95, so basically you’re getting the starter, side and dessert for free. HOWEVER, the portion for the salad, side and dessert was smaller in size, as it seemed to be made for 1 person instead of shareable size. Still, the price was definitely more affordable that if you were to order each item a la carte. In addition to the Restaurant Week menu, we added the onion rings and 2 coffees to pair with dessert. When you dine at Fleming’s, expect to have a 2 hour dining experience if you’re coming here for a full dinner with a starter, entrée and dessert. We arrived at 7:40pm for our 8:00 reservation. We were seated at 8:08, and didn’t leave until 10:15 pm. Jose was not the best server we’ve had. In fact he never came to check on us after he gave us our bill. With Stephen’s cocktail, our bill came to $ 112 before tax, which is roughly a $ 70 savings had we ordered the items separately. I didn’t realize until after we left that Jose didn’t charge us for the coffee, which is a nice surprise. We had a $ 100 gift card to use, and we left it in the folder, along with the balance of the bill plus a 18% tip, as the average service didn’t warrant anything higher. One very nice thing that Fleming’s did was wish Stephen and me a Happy Anniversary, and gave us a box of truffles and a $ 25 gift card for us to come back within 2 months. Street parking is available(if you can find it), or valet is $ 7.00. If you give them $ 10, don’t expect change. Restaurant week makes visiting these high end places easier on the pocket book, but it seems the service gets discounted as well.

Came here for dineLA Winter 2016 with a few friends. It was a $ 39 dinner with $ 10 optional upgrade for the new york strip. The strip was a generous 18oz. The soup du jour was like a creamy cheese soup. I didnt really fancy it. Their bread basked however, was fantastic. The dips that accompanied the bread were awesome. Creamy and subtly complementing the savory bread. The bread was soft in the inside and adequately firm on the outside. It was also seasoned, so it was pleasant. The meat was en pointe, medium as I like it. However I felt that the cut was way too thick, so the inside part tasted like meat, just meat. Because the seasonings could not penetrate deep enough. I couldnt finish all of it. My biggest qualm about it was the thickness of the meat. It was just too thick to be thoroughly enjoyable. A slightly thinner but wider 16oz would have been more pleasant. The green beans were everyone’s favorite side dish, the onions made it taste so flavorful. To me, it was a little on the salty side, but everyone else said it was okay. So I suppose that’s just me. The potato au gratin was thinly sliced, and had a little soft crunch to them. Lovely. And the cheese on top was amazing. The desserts, I ordered the blueberry cheesecake, while my friends got the carrot cake. Both were amazing. The crème chantilly they gave us was heavenly. It was light but fluffy and creamy. The downside to this visit is service related. The server, albeit respectful, was curt and lacked that nice touch of friendliness. Also, probably because of the dine LA promotion, everybody ordered steak and so it took about an hour for the entrées to arrive at our table. We ate 2 bread baskets in total while waiting for the mains. I would definitely come back to try their wine selections when it isnt too crowded.

My favorite steak place so far. Attentive and friendly service. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. And juicy, flavorful steak cooked medium-rare, just the way I like it! Love this place!

Great service at Flemings. The manager was super friendly and welcoming. She went around throughout the night to make sure everyone was doing well and had a short conversation with tables. Our server was also great. Friendly but professional. Water and champagne was constantly topped. Came here for a New Year’s Eve dinner and they had a special for the night. $ 70 for a starter, salad and 8 oz. filet mignon with a poached lobster tail. Super good deal and we were surprised by it when we sat down with the menu. We also ordered two sides, chipotle Mac and cheese and truffle mashed potatoes. It was a ton of food and I actually had a bunch of leftovers due to the fact that we had a bottle of champagne and I wanted to finish that since I couldn’t take that to go. The food was tasty. Although it wasn’t the best steak I’ve had, it was still very good. The steak was cooked perfectly and super tender. Portions were fairly big for the sides and salad that came with the NYE special.

Add me to the ranks of the not impressed. The food was good, but at this price point good is not enough when I expected great. I honestly found them to be a notch above the average steakhouse. Let start with the Flemings salad which is basically one of those lettuce based salads u buy that come in a bag at your local grocer. But for what they charge they’ll bring you a chilled fork. The steaks were pretty ok also. I can’t bash them really but I found them to be average. Excellent wine collection by the way and the waitstaff was very good. Valet parking is available also. All in all, beautiful space and probably great to stop by and have a bottle of wine but if a great steak is what you’re looking for, this isn’t it.

Dress up! If you come here you don’t wanna dress like a bum. It’s worth to come to a restaurant like Fleming’s for special occasions. It’s very expensive but at the same time I enjoyed it very much with a group of friends for a birthday dinner. We got to try the red wine before choosing, which helps a lot. The steak melts away on your tongue. It’s very delicious. I think every single individual spent around $ 100. I know crazy right?! Well I remember they gave the birthday girl free pumpkin cake and it was really delicious.

This review is just for it’s happy hours. This is probably one of if not the best HH in BH. HH starts at 5pm. HH seating is all around the bar and some tables outside by the sidewalk. The HH menu is divided into a 5−7pm & a 7−9pm prices with different dishes. The most popular and absolute the best from 5−7pm is the Prime burger with bacon and cheddar cheese & fries for $ 7. Rest of the food on the menu during this time is $ 6 and the blue moon is only $ 3! Wine prices vary. Just about everyone comes for the Prime burger. From 7−9pm, HH food is $ 9, but I am not sure about the prices of the drinks. Sorry, not a big drinker(haha and I love HHs!!). Will do a review on Fleming’s regular menu next time. However, in the mean time, do stop by Fleming’s for it’s HH. Valet parking is awkward. There are plenty of meter parking and structure parking around which is much better and cheaper. I highly recommend Fleming’s for its HH!

Wow! What a wonderful evening. From drinks at the bar with Bartender Andrew to dinner with fabulous server, Jennifer, we could NOT have had a better time. We’ve been to other Fleming’s, but this is our first time to the Beverly Hills location. Woodland Hills was a completely different experience. Even though the place was packed, everything went smoothly and on time. The drinks were perfect and so was the food. We had the Double Filet Mignon Special with Shrimp and Mashed Potatoes. Delicious. Side dish was the Thai Green Beans. Yum. The Wine List is substantial and the bottle we ordered was wonderful. We can’t say enough about this location. We will definitely be back. Parking is literally two doors away at the Beverly Hills Garden Parking Structure next to Montage. Just great. Oh yes, and when we got home, a Thank You email from the Operating Partner, Brandon, was waiting in our email inbox.

Came here for a birthday dinner. Parking is easy, there is an underground parking just around the corner with 2 hour free parking! How can I not know about this before. Great service, our server(Taylor?) was very attentive and helpful. He definitely made the dining experience that much better. The only disappointing part of the meal is that they overcooked my medium rare Filet Mignon, there was barely any pink left in the meat. They also overcooked my boyfriend’s Rib Eye, his actually had no pink in the meat and was hard to bite. They were kind enough to remake my Filet Mignon but my boyfriend felt bad so he didn’t tell them about his steak. Since they always bring everything out at the same time, I had to wait around for them to remake mine which I totally understand, but my Filet came out super hot on the outside and room temperature on the inside(looks quite rare). At that point I just wanted to eat so my friends didn’t have to wait around for me to finish. It is pretty surprising a notable steakhouse would make this kind of mistake, maybe we just came on a bad day. They did apologize, but I probably won’t come back again personally.

Flemings never disappoints and this location probably has the best hospitality out of all the ones Ive been to. Reservations are very easy to make and I am always seated right when I get there, even if I arrive early. They have valet parking or if you go late in the evening it isn’t too hard to find street parking. The servers here are very knowledgeable about the food and are prepared to give you any kind of suggestions that are needed. Occasionally I may have something mixed up with my order or another issue but they go above and beyond to make sure the customer always leaves happy and extremely satisfied. As for the food… it is some of the best quality out there. I love going during their steak and lobster specials. They also have prime rib specials, but Ive never tried that. The steak always come out perfect and the lobster is accompanied with some delicious butter. Their desserts are fantastic as well. It is so hard to save space for them but if you do try either the carrot cake or the chocolate lava cake. Trust me you won’t regret it!

This review is for their dineLA menu — 3 courses plus 2 sides for $ 40. As their dinner prices are high, this is a great value. APPETIZER FLEMING’S SALAD — candied walnuts, dried cranberries, tomatoes, onions, herbed crostini, lemon vinaigrette. Very fresh with a nice mix of flavors. ENTREE PETITEFILETMIGNON8OZ — nicely charred on the outside, perfectly tender SIDEDISHES FLEMING’S POTATOES — house specialty with cream, jalapeños and cheddar cheese. Rich and creamy, very filling. SPICYTHAIGREENBEANS — pretty spicy, a bit overdone DESSERT CHEESECAKE — classic new york style cheesecake on a graham cracker crust, served with blueberry sauce and white chocolate shavings. It was a standard cheesecake, nothing special but still good. CARROTCAKE — three layer cake with cream cheese frosting topped with a drizzle of dark rum caramel. This was fantastic — moist and rich with creamy frosting. The desserts also came with a bowl of fresh whipped cream to add to your liking. Service was efficient and friendly but nothing special. I would definitely return for dineLA or dinner. Even though it is a small chain restaurant, it does not have the feel of one, and it offers very good food. tip — Fleming’s has one of the best happy hours around. See my review for specifics. parking — several nearby garages that offer 1 – 2 hours free parking
