Sandra is THE BEST! I feel so lucky to have found her! When it comes to cutting and styling hair, she really understand her craft! It is no surprise to me why L’Oreal has made her an educator and artist for them. She is fantastic! Cannot wait to see her again soon!

Okay, I have been to ALOT of Salons in LA and this place tops them all! Carlo is amazing!!! Terry is also great too! I have super dry hair and bleach normally destroys it so I was concerned to use it again. Carlo assured me he wouldn’t dry out my hair. The results were spectacular! Carlo is a true expert in his trade… not to mention he is probably one of the funniest damn people I have ever met. Terry and Carolo are true professionals and I would highly recomend this salon to anyone and everyone I know in the LA area. I will be back soon! Thanks Carlo and Terry!

I have crazy curly hair that I either blow dry or let go natural. For years I have endured getting bad layered cuts because I thought it was my difficult hair. I was referred to Sandra by a longtime customer and I finally went. She gave me the best cut I have ever had. It will take a few more months and cuts to get the layers to grow out to where they should be for my type of hair but the difference after just one cut is miraculous. Sandra studied at Sassoon and traveled the country for Aveda teaching how to cut hair. She truly understands the differences in hair types and textures and knows how to work with them. After a lifetime of bad cuts, I can’t praise her enough.

I’ve been going to Carlo for haircuts for five years now. He’s, simply put, a genius. Sweet, sensitive, and always right about what works for your lifestyle. The best thing about his cuts is that they always last forever. The cut grows out beautifully too. And it doesn’t involve an hour of drying and styling every morning.

I read about the Brazilian Blowout in one of the fashion magazine, I thought it sounded way too good to be true, but decided to do a little research. I have horrible wavy and frizzy hair… like the kind that you can’t just wash and go, or it will be the worst 80’s flashback you have ever had. I have spent countless hours blow-​drying and then flat-​ironing my hair. I finally got to the point where I couldn’t stand touching my dried out «crunchy» feeling hair… that’s when I found Sandra at Novoa Salon. Oh my gosh, I can’t stop touching my hair, it’s like silk… but on my head! Sandra takes so much time and care making sure that you get the most out of the process. I won’t lie, it at cheap… but it possibly the best money I have spent on my hair.

My hair is bea-​u-​ti-​ful! Well, it kind’a was already pre-​cut; however it is much more healthier, lighter and gorgeous now. And most importantly, easier to manage. I had long hair, shiny hair that became dry and brittle due to an overdue trim and abusive blow-​drying; however it is sexy and healthy now. Thank you, Jovan! The salon is peaceful and inviting, the conversation was even better. I also enjoyed the hair education I received during my cut. Thanks again, it was wonderful (a bit pricey, but wonderful).

Carlo Novoa, of Novoa Salon, has been taking care of my hair for over 12 years. I have learned to trust him so much that when he asks what I want to do with my hair, I say «whatever you want to do.»
He is a color and highlight specialist! Every where I go people compliment my cut and color. I have been referring people to Carlo for YEARS! He is also fantastic with curly hair. And people with curly hair, like myself, know how difficult it is to find someone who knows how to cut our curly locks! Carlo’s hands are magic!
