The wings (only thing I have ever eaten here) are SO SO GOOD. Tuesdays are wing night and they are now .45 but worth it. Service is friendly which I always appreciate.

Fibbers has great food and great service. We love going on Sunday afternoon. The steak tip sub and the fish and chips are so awesome. AND the fried pickles are great. We love Fibber’s.

Just awful. Staff is horrendous. They don’t know how to poor drinks and scowl at anyone who wants anything. Might as well just buy a bottle of bourbon and walk the streets. Or you you could just go to any of the much finer establishments 100 feet away…

Stopped in on a Thursday night and it was PACKED. We had a big group back in a corner.
The waitresses were quite nice, but I had a long conversation about one about food, ordered the chili, and she forgot. When it was time to leave, she excessively apologized and gave me chili to go, which was super nice.
Chili: nice, almost sweet taste, mild kick
I also had 2 not your father’s root beer, which are super sweet but awesome.
Food is solid and I like it there. Plus, it has a cool name

I’m a fan because they have the best flavors/​sauces on the chicken wings. Go on a Tuesday night and they offer 39 cent wings, it doesn’t get better than that. The wings are amazing, the service is fast and efficient. The waitresses are polite and responsive. The wait is never more than 10 minutes and the place is always full even on weekdays. It’s a great place to watch games with a nice beer.

Gf had the steak tip sub. I got a Spicy burger with franks sauce. Burger was cooked perfectly, medium rare. Don’t usually get this type of burger but it worked for me. I tried the marinated tips and I liked them. Bartender did a great job.

This is the 3rd time I have been here. The food has been great every time. Each time Melissa has been our waitress she is the best ever! I can’t say enough about fibber magees and Melissa!

If you’re looking for a good night out don’t come here. They will shut you down after a single shot. I understand if you’ve had too much but the female bartenders have no people skills to know one thing from the other. In short, if you are bar hopping this place is ok to get a drink but nothing more.

I’m currently trying to break up with my girlfriend so I can eat wings here everyday. They’re that good. Who needs love when you can have Carolina Gold BBQ sauce.

We came in on a Saturday at 6 and the place was packed, no surprise there. The service was a little slow but friendly and helpful. The servings were huge and my husband liked his food as served, which is not all that common. The only thing we didn’t really like, outside of the tight quarters, was that the drinks are served on plastic ‘solo ’ type cups and I would prefer a real glass.

Exactly what I was looking for. I was in search of a pub atmosphere to watch the Patriot’s game with locals and Fibber’s was great! I sat at the bar to leave tables open for larger parties, and received great service from the bartender. During the game they offered a $.39 wings special. Yes, 39 CENTS WINGS! There are several sauce flavors to choose from, but taking the bartender’s advice, I chose the Korean BBQ which was a great blend of sweet & spicy with minced fresh ginger. I ordered the minimum order of 6, but between you and me, could’ve eaten a ton more! Unfortunately, I was only able to stay for the first half of the game.
There are at least 7 screens available for your viewing pleasure. I will go back the next time I’m in town and looking for some NFL action. GO PATS!

As a hardcore townie and Beverly lifer, Fibbers is a weekend after-​dinner, before-​stumbling-​home staple.
Oddly enough, I have never eaten a meal here, but I hear good things regarding their slightly-​better-​than-​average pub fare. (Side note: is it just me, or does this review already have a shit ton of hyphens? Why are there not appropriate words for me to describe things without having to create word hybrids?!)
For how I use it (see above), Fibbers is consistent and does its job well. Love having cider on tap… like, LOVE having cider on tap. Prices are average, bathrooms are average, I can usually find a seat at the bar, service is good.
I wouldn’t typically pick Fibbers as my destination of choice for late night, just because I do like to sit, and the place is always SLAMMED (which does speak well of the business, so Kudos, Fibs!). But I don’t turn it down when someone else suggests it.

Ive lived in Beverly for 3 years now… I went into Fibber McGees awhile ago and thought it was alright… Just recently I was out for a walk and stopped in to grab supper… I had their steak tips.!! They are awesome!!!
I then took a friend in with me… Got the sampler… Steak tips, chicken and bbq ribs!!!
They were awesome!!!
Went back again! Had the nachos! Awesome!
Went back again for more steak tips!!! Awesome!!!
The service was great too! Friendly bar staff… Small talk… But just enough to let me know they are nice people and welcoming.
They are a great bar selection.
Plenty of space and the noise level depends on what time you’re in there.
I plan on continuing to go back again soon.
