Great venue that is right in biddeford. It has that diner kinda feel with plenty of space inside. Arriving to the little pizza diner there is plenty of parking on the side of the restaurant and minimal space in the front. If you’re not feeling pizza there is a mcdonalds, burger King and a couple of convenience stores that are near. going inside TJs pizza it had a decent look for a diner. Everything was clean and the menu is filled with a variety of pizza choices with different kinds of food. Again of you’re not feeling pizza there fries and wings and much more. Customer service are friendly, was greeted by three young ladies and took our order kindly, no lines when we got there. My friend does say it gets busy in the summer so be careful. There is also a legit jukebox for playing music, which is .25 cents for each song you play. Not sure if thier restrooms are clean or not because I didn’t check but they do have a bar in another room. overall a great experience at this joint, bring your friends and have a great time in TJs pizza!

Pricy and not good… Also, the staff seemed clueless… Guest where asking valid questions that nobody at the counter could answer… Huge disappointment first and last time customer…

I’ve eaten there many time. I usually get the family special(pizza, fries, bottle of soda). Typically if the fries are good the pizza is not that great. If the pizza is good the fries are not. Sometimes both are good. Last time both were bad. The buffet is a good deal. I got it once. Will not get it again. The food and service have definitely gone down over the years. I think its the«cooks». A new breed of geniuses now works there. With adult supervision TJ’s can return to its former glory.

This is the email I sent to TJs after my experience today. Hi Just wanted to let you know, I’m a first time customer and unfortunately, that was the first and last time I’ll order from you. After paying $ 40+ dollars for 3 sandwiches a drink and fries/onion rings… The food arrived cold. The onion rings were undercooked, the bread tasted old. It was an awful meal all around. The entire family was extremely disappointed as they chose TJs over Papajohns or Dominos. Also might mention that originally we were going to order the chicken, but you were all out of that.(And it was only around 5:00) If they(the kids), hadn’t been so hungry, I would have asked for a full refund. but since they were hungry and had no other food to eat… they ate some of it anyway.(But not all) So just thought you might like to know we won’t be visiting there any more. I hope you don’t do this to all your customers. On the upside. the girl I talked with on the phone a couple of times when I was trying to order, was patient and pleasant. Good service… really lousy food.

The wings were soggy, but the sauce had some decent flavor. The pizza didn’t have fresh ingredients, but tasted fine. The food wasn’t horrible. It was over priced for what you got.

I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews. TJs pizza is a great place. The atmosphere is really cool with it’s 50’s theme. It is a great place for a family. It is very inexpensive and their buffet is great with the many varieties it has. They also do a lot for the community with fund raisers etc.

I bought my share of pizzas at TJ over the years… what was I thinking!!! The place has gone downhill over recent years. There are so many other places to get great pizzas. Do yourself a favor and shop around and go elsewhere! Listen, I may have been unfair in insinuating that TJ’s is not a great restaurant, because it is, but I prefer my pizzas to be made a certain way, and TJ’s is not one of my favorite pizza joints; to some, in may be to their liking. Give it a try and you can make your own evaluations.

If an already bad house of pizza spit out a thirty year old scrap of food it would look and taste better than this place. TJs is a brutal, high school kid run house of pizza-esque dump that tries to be edgy and old school. All it actually does is produce fast food that cannot be anything but frozen crap that is reconstituted and reheated. Even being that bad, we gave it two chances. First go round we tried the chicken parm sandwich — came in a soggy hot dog bun not even a true hoagie bun. And the hot wings that came with no buffalo sauce on them. The second go around we figured you cant screw up spaghetti… haha. Wrong. We got a pile of over cooked mush with frozen meatballs and little more than a thimble of canned tomato slop. This is after requesting extra sauce. Please see posted pic of the disaster TJs calls spaghetti. Anyone that eats here repeatedly either must have false teeth and no tastebuds, or a child that works here and needs sympathy. This is such a bad place I wish I could give negative stars. Majority of my reviews are good. It took this epic failure to get me to write such bad pub. How is this place open?

TJ’s pizza is been here for very long time. Their reputation is well deserved, a great local pizza place. Check them out!

TJ’s was a staple at home growing up — pizzas and boxes of greasy fries were a Friday night tradition when I had sleepovers with my cousins. Either this place has just gone downhill or I am remembering things more fondly than they were(or, the third, I have gotten pickier in my old age?). Unfortunately, the heyday of old is gone, and the jig is up. We stopped in around 8:15 on a Friday night and we were the only people there. Makes me very confused as to why, when placing my phone order for one box of fries, the staff member told me it’d be 15 minutes until they’re ready for pickup. Is 15 the standard number when quoting pickup time, or does it actually take 15 minutes to fry a batch of pre-frozen fries. This is not the reason for the two stars, just anecdotal musings. I say they’re pre-frozen but I cannot be sure. They’re crinkle cut(which screams of processed-food), but they have the skins on(which usually indicates they’re house-cut). Oh the calamity. While the price is right($ 5.50 for a huge box of fries wrapped in a greasy paper bag), the size is hu-mung-o(a technical term), and the fries come out hot, quantity and price just cannot make up completely for quality. The quality aspect is what got me — yes, everyone knows TJ’s fries taste great doused in vinegar, but what fries don’t? What? you don’t like your fries swimming in vinegar? Do you also hate freedom and the environment? Thought so. Gimme enough salt, vinegar, and ketchup, and I can make anything taste good. The real test is the standalone. Bonus points for skin-on, but way, way, way negative points for that mealy freezer-burn taste. Sad but true: it’s the end of an era.

Horrible. The pizza was drenched in grease, and the dough seemed undercooked. AVOID!

I don’t think TJ’s and I are of to a good start. The first time, we went in looking for calzones. The place was filled with screaming kids, very young moms with a taste for sequins and carbs, and no dads. It was pandemonium inside and since TJ’s didn’t have calzones, we left in a hurry. Tonight we wanted pizza and thought we’d give TJ’s a better chance to show us what they could do. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn’t very good. The dough didn’t have much taste and there was hardly and sauce. The cheese was okay and the toppings were generous, but the overall effect wasn’t very good. I’m sure that I’ll try them again sometime, but I’m not in a rush. Quick edit(3÷21÷15): The owner wrote to tell me that they have calzones. Maybe this has changed since 2012, maybe I was wrong. I don’t know but I’ll have to back and try one soon.

I was staying in Biddeford this past week and my boyfriend decided to take me out to one of his favorite places — TJ’s pizza. My first impression of the pizza place was that it was normal, average looking, but when I went inside, I was fairly impressed. I really did like the ambiance. We ordered a family special and the pizza had pepperoni and sausage on it, with additional mushrooms on my half. The meal came with DELICIOUS fries, and our choice of drinks. Let me remark on the fries. They are not like the ones at fast food chain restaurants where they are frozen and precut, etc. I would know since I worked at Burger King a few summers ago. These are handcut and delicious! We ate in the restaurant and the pizza was so yummy. I even took a slice for the road the following day and after reheating it and driving down I-95 munching, it was still delicious. The only reason why I didn’t rate it as 5 stars is because the booth that we sat at had one ripped seat and to me a 5 star rating would indicate perfection.

I was in Biddeford and ordered pizza to bring home. Stopped at Tjs Pizza. I ordered 2 large pizzas and fries and it came to over 30 $ even though the«special» was supposed to be less. Anyway, got the pizzas home and they were fairly cold. The cheese pizza was dry and over cooked and the other was ok but just ok. Doesn’t deserve 3 stars more like 2.5.

I’ve been to TJ’s twice for lunch with guys from work. It’s a local establishment that is very well known and visited. They are known for the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for around $ 8. They have pizza(some claim best in Biddeford), fried chicken, fries, onion rings and shepherd’s pie on their buffet. The pizza is very good, especially the meat lover’s one. The shepherd’s pie was actually pretty good too, haha. The onion rings are the real kind and they were also excellent. Finally, the fries are very good also. All around a good solid lunch venue. Only reason they don’t get a higher score is because it’s not spectacular in my mind.
