When we checked in the hotel looked lovely. The staff was very nice and check in was easy. When we got to the room it reeked of mold. We took our shoes off and the carpet was soaking to the point that it seeped over our toes. We turned around and went back down to the front desk and very politely told them. They were overly nice and apologetic and quickly put us in a new room. When we got to the new one it smelled better, but again we took our shoes off and soaked carpet. We were so tired at that point that we just took a shower and avoided the floor as much as possible. The next morning we ate at the breakfast area. Word of advice… don’t. It was dirty, the orange juice was just tinted water, the eggs were spoiled tasting and the milk was warm. The staff was the best part about the hotel.
