Fantastic place! Incredible burgers and the Purple People Eater and Doritos Nachos are to die for! Service and atmosphere were awesome. We will definitely be back next time in Billings. A must try!

I have eaten at Hooligans several times. The food is excellent. The bartener, Josh Moore, has always impressed me with his skills and his excellent service.

Passing through and relied on reviews. We weren’t disappointed. Food was wonderful. They were busy so service was a bit slow. We had the scotch eggs and the pasty and the flavor were great. Beer could have been colder and the mug could have been chilled.

I’ve been here 3 – 4 times now and this review is an amalgam of those experiences, with the most recent one prompting the review. This place recently revised the menu, and they took off many of the best options, but a few still remain. The Tongue Transplant wings are a delicious hot wing, but the portion size — 7 – 8 wings — is pitiful for $ 10. Their scotch eggs are quite good also. But we had a brat last time that was small and unspectacular, overrun with onions. The beer selection is mediocre, with them thinking that they are an ‘Irish pub’, they have way too many imports. The service is actually pretty good, especially given the crowd for Sunday football. But this past trip, we were charged for a beer we didn’t order, and the waitress made an excuse that since we transferred our ticket from another table, she couldn’t go back and ask whether it was on the first tab. I didn’t want to argue over $ 6, but her excuse was that if she took it off, she would have to pay for it. I felt like she was just trying to guilt us into not making a fuss. Overall, good service, some good food, but high-priced and a menu that is so uninteresting now, my friend went next door to order.

BESTWEEKENDBREAKFASTINBILLINGS! Being 50+, my husband and I don’t hang out at Hooligans in the evenings, where the typical crowd is much younger. However, we feel we have discovered a hidden gem among the weekend breakfast crowd. Breakfast is only served Sat/Sun beginning at 10AM. My husband claims some of the very best chicken fried steak he’s ever had. Their Scottish Eggs are great. I love omelets — and so happy to find a place that doesn’t overcook the eggs — and loads them up with lots of fillings and cheese. Best breakfast potatoes ever(cubed, colorful, spicy and crunchy — yumm!) and even good quality toastl Top it all off with a huge glass of OJ or a really tasty Bloody Mary(they know how to make them right) and you are set. Always amazed that this place is not packed, as breakfast is so good and there are few places in Billings to find a good weekend breakfast without having to wait 20 – 30 minutes or more for a table. Servers are cute young things who are always smiling and friendly, albeit service can be a bit slow. However, we are there to relax, eat and read the Sunday paper, while sipping a drink and keeping an eye on one(or two) of the many sports channels, so no worries :)

I’ll be back again. Great atmosphere and tv’s everywhere. Food was great with lots of options that you won’t find elsewhere. Service was great too.

We go here for NFL football games on a weekly basis. The burgers are amazing. The wife and myself like to try things on the menu as they have some out of the ordinary menu items that are sure to please even the pickiest eaters. Service is usually great and the prices are fair.

This is a great choice for good sports viewing, good beer, good service, and good pub fare. My boyfriend and I were in town about a week ago and needed to find a place to watch football. I am glad we picked Hooligan’s. The pub vibe makes it a lot of fun, the beer selection was great, and we both enjoyed our orders(I had the Irish Cork salad and he had the boneless wings). Red Zone on the big screen was an added bonus ;) We’ll be back!

GREATSPORTSBAR!!! Couldn’t ask for much more in an Irish Pub/Sports Bar. Good bar fare and great staff. Fun place to grab a beer and watch a game.

Decent food, decent service. Jenna P.‘s comment sums it up well — «I like Hooligan’s. I don’t love it.» I’ve been there twice — once on my birthday and once because I had a gift card to use there. I had a snafu with my gift card where they couldn’t run it, so I had to pay for my meal and come in the next day to talk with the manager. Annoying, especially since it was a $ 50 gift card we purposely meant to use up. However, I kept my receipt, explained to the manager the next day that I’m from out-of-town and just wanted to give her my gift card and get my money back. She agreed and did some talking with her boss and in about 10 minutes I had my $ 50 back. Overall, well handled.

This bar, located in downtown Billings, has a lot of great options for a small menu. The fried green tomatoes were delicious, and the pizzas were huge. Our server Tahnee was the most efficient waitress I’ve ever had. She was quick, attentive and very friendly. I would definitely go back here for the pizza.

Good place for lunch, not too busy or noisy. Lots of t.v.s to pass the time and let me tell you, their fish and chips are the best I have had in Billings!!!

They seem to have som great happy hour specials, good deals on drinks. They do Karioke probably many days out of the week(I know they do it on Monday, which is when I was there) I wish I was paying attention to when the kitchen closed, but I didn’t even pay attention to whether or not they served food. I went to visit a long time friend who I hadn’t seen in a while so a quiet Monday night in this place was nice. They do have a dance floor but on a slow Monday night I saw no one dancing. I did however notice that on the schedule for the weekend they had a DJ so it looks like if you want to dance Friday or Saturday night is when you want to go. They have a bunch of TVs, I didn’t count, but off the top of my head I’d say somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 high resolution, large screen TVs.

Good for a sports bar. One person in our group had Elvis Burger with friend egg and peanut butter. I had the fish and chips and I really liked them.(They are sold by weight, not by number of pieces. The waitress helped me to pick the right size for me.) We were there during a game, it was packed and loud, and you could see any game you wanted to. The very large screen TV was the only one I’ve seen in town. We munched on the free peanuts while waiting for our food.

I give it 5 stars because you have get the best burger in town: The Bat Out of Hell with tots. The cheese ring on the burger is most epic, fried on one side then slapped on the burger until it pours over every side. I love cheese. The beers are okay and depending on what your server’s okay with, you can buy a pint or a pitcher over at the Montana Brew Pub and bring it to Hooligans. It’s a sports bar with TVs everywhere and probably close to the largest screen in town for big games. We watched World Cup and NFL playoffs here.

I both like Hooligans and don’t. Love that they have so many TVS, they play hockey, and the staff actually knows how to run the equipment. The peanuts are great on the table, but I think the peanuts are there to keep you occupied until you get SERVICE from the wait staff. We are usually in earlier, before 9pm, to watch Hockey and have dinner. They offer pizza and alot of burgers, which is really not on my thing. They only offer so-so salad combos.

This place is alright. I hate the atmosphere; it’s just full of kids who just turned 21 trying to impress each other. Kind of a bro bar. They do have free peanuts which is awesome and they also play hockey on the tvs. They make really good long islands as well, they do not use a mix. Service is usually pretty good, but again I just don’t like the crowd that comes here.

First to review! We played beer pong and watched sports on multiple TV’s. To be honest, I was surprised at the activitiy level here and on a Wednesday night. Not likely to return to Billings, but thought I’d give them a shout! Peace!
