Very nice people running this place, but the prime rib sandwich I ordered was very dry, and the acoustics in the building make it too noisy for me to enjoy a meal there.

I’ve had two fab experiences at Kennedy’s! My husband and another couple went to the New Year’s Eve dinner… what a great deal! He had the peppercorn filet with shrimp and I had the prosciutto wrapped prawn pasta. Our meal also included choice of salad, choice of desert and champagne bottle service(Gloria Ferrer) Servers were attentive, price was more than fair and you could have a conversation without yelling. Then yesterday I took my 6 and 4 year old. They had the grilled cheese… they even at the crust! I had the portobello mushroom sandwich. Again great service and food. Will be coming back when we’re back in town.

I was hoping this would be a good place to grab a good meal, buy some wine head for home after a long day at work. Not impressed. If they want to make it work, the Kennedy’s are going to need to think outside the box, literally. You can’t serve boxed food, for the price they are serving it for. Self serve, boxed food, I am not going back. This is a well designed and comfortable atmosphere, that has so much potential. In order to make a new eating establishment work, one can’t spare the change when it comes to the food. If you want a wine shop keep it a wine shop, leave the food to those that know how to prepare it. Suggestion is to hire someone that can make it from scratch at probably a much cheaper price to the owners, and bring in a lot more people.

Don’t let the shamrocks fool you. This sure isn’t an Irish place. I’m actually perplexed as to what they were going for here. I guess it’s a wine place that serves sandwiches or maybe it’s a place that serves burgers with the option of rippled potato chips or rippled potato chips that has a corner with wine for sale? I had the eponymously named Kennedy burger. It was cooked like leather, it had some bacon and cheese but I am baffled about what made this special. Anyway, wife had a turkey sandwich which wasn’t much to bark home about. I was hoping it would something reminiscent of the old Morgan’s Market but called far short. Way too many employees standing around yaking and not clearing tables. When you order at a register and serve your own fountain drink what exactly are all these people supposed to be even doing? I give it 6 months and this place will be busted. Also, the place does not have adequate parking, so good luck trying to park anything larger than a Subaru without worrying about dent.

My family of 4 went here for lunch to check out their new location. One of the specials was soup and salad bar for $ 8.99. The lettuce was primarily iceberg and most of the other veggies looked old and limp. I had to go and get my soup which they forgot to give me. The soup portion was small and had too much red wine in it so it covered up the flavor of the beef. My daughters deli sandwich was dry and we had to ask for mayo since it didn’t have any type of sauce on it. The ice tea was stale tasting and they never changed it even after I told them it was bad. Our lunch was over $ 37 after using a coupon. Too expensive for this poor quality and service. Love the décor though. Not enough to go back.

We both ordered country fried steaks, which came with mashed potatoes, carrots, and a lettuce salad. Steak and potatoes were covered with a brown gravy, which tasted like it was made from a dry package mix. Gravy was very salty and so horrible that I only ate 3 bites. They had no 57 sauce to cover the taste of the gravy. This is a self-service restaurant and expensive for what we got. My husband ate about half of his meal. There are too many good restaurants in Billings to give this one a second chance.

Sweet staff, cute restaurant however my dinner was very boring. I had chicken breast, it was served with white rice, frozen peas, carrots, green beans bits and an IceBurg lettuce side. Very plain. On the upside it appears they have a lovely wine and dessert section.
