Showed up at 11:45 only half the Buffett out and food was mediocre at best. Wouldn’t come back

Have eaten lunch here a few times and agree that it’s a great buffet that is well tended by friendly staff. Décor is a bit lacking, so don’t go there for the ambiance — but if you want good food at a good price, it’s your place.
Hubby and I phoned in an order for take-​out last night (a Saturday). When I picked up it, it appeared the restaurant was closed (even though they should have been open for several more hours), and an employee was waiting for me with our dinner, and locked up as soon as I left. Strange.
But…the food was great, priced comparable to other Chinese restaurants in town — and there was enough for at least 4 people. On top of that there was one cartoon marked «Free» that was full of cream cheese wontons. Nice!
We live near downtown and this has definitely become our go-​to Chinese restaurant.

I’ve been to this place twice, both during the lunch buffet. The buffet is kind of small but it has a great selection. The food is tended to so it doesn’t seem like it runs out even with lots of customers. I really liked how the food was kept warm unlike some buffets here in town where it’s lukewarm once you get it to your table. The staff is very friendly but don’t seem to be on the floor much of the time if you need any additional help.
