Do not eat here. The«Chef» is a complete ass. He had the nerve to confront us on a bad steak that we sent back. The food is over-priced, over done, and not worthy of the exorbitant prices. Be careful, don’t piss off this jerk of a Chef.

What a fantastic restaurant! The food is phenomenal. Though the menu is small, The Fieldhouse does a fantastic job of focusing on flavor. The menu is simple, but delightful and I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends.

Good food. Great atmosphere. A lot of the items on the menu are not man sized meals. I didn’t walk away hungry but I didn’t feel full either. I would have been well served to order an cheese starter. I order the chicken. Roasted garlic Parmesan risotto My friend order the pasta. It was made with house made pasta and chicken. Another guest ordered the steak special and the fourth person in our group got the meatloaf. Both these item were man sized. Had a glass of the Heinz Eifel Riesling. It was very good. Waitress was fair. Not overly attentive or friendly.

Great, unique food. Loved the taste and presentation. But plan for longer than an hour meal for your lunch. I am not sure if the reason was service or it just took that long to prepare it.

I’m so happy and pleased to have discovered this wonderful restaurant in Billings!!! I just moved here from SoCal and read great reviews regarding this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. We got Brussel sprouts as appetizer and they were super crunchy and yummy. Came with house made sauce, couldn’t figure out what the sauce was but it was delicious and went perfectly with the brussels! And for only $ 6, what a deal! For the main course, my boyfriend had the steak special of the night which was the Yellowstone steak ribeye cooked medium with couscous and spinach($ 32) and I got the burger($ 15) which came with fries and housemade ketchup. First off, the steak was cooked perfectly, and it was so tender and juicy!!! and the burger was super tall with bacon and onion ring and arugulas in them, I was wishing I had a bigger mouth! We finished everything on the plate! Then for dessert, we had freshmade donut holes stuffed with pastry cream and candied kumquat. There were 4 little donut holes and so satisfying. I loved my experience here at this restaurant! The only thing I would have liked is to have an actual dessert menu so that I can read the descriptions. Our server Lauren was very attentive and she read to us few different dessert options but I had to ask her to repeat the list again because I forgot some of the details when she got to the bottom of her dessert list. I can’t wait to go back and try different items on the menu! Oh, and They also have happyhour from 4 – 6, ½ off glasses of wine and beer.

Had the Kale salad with the house quinoa dressing(kind of amazing!) so good! And although the steak and roasted veggies and the burger that my hubbin buddy and son had were awesome… they were disappointed in the ketchup. IT is homemade, which I found charming! But they were lookin for the good ol stand by. Owned and operated by the chef and hostess, terribly charming, set up in what looks like might have been an old mechanic shop?! super cool! need to go again!

I am visiting family in town, and last night we had amazing food at The Fieldhouse. Starting with small plates, we had the Brussels and Greens with our phenomenal Black Chicken wine. Someone suggested the cheese platter with our choice of cheeses — the aged cheddar was especially tasty. My main course was the fish special: Wild king salmon from New Zealand glazed with a honey harissa sauce and red heirloom rice served over a celeriac purée.(Yes, I took some notes to remember the deliciousness of this meal!) No dessert was necessary, but there were tempting offerings!

Had brunch this morning ordering the huevos rancheros and burrito. Both were excellent. One of our favorite breakfasts ever. I love huevos rancheros — if good. This dish was a little different — more creative so therefore, maybe top of my list. The red sauce was tasty and mild(I don’t like hot), not served on a tortilla but rather topped with tortilla strips. The best part was the generous smoked beef. What an unexpected and delicious twist. Décor is tasteful and comfortable. Many hard surfaces which makes it feel clean and modern, but all kinds of angles and moulding elements that probably make acoustically pleasant. Our server was pleasant and although busy, willing to answer our questions. Fellow patrons clearly enjoyed dining here.

First time to Billings and I drove straight to The Fieldhouse from the airport. Met up with some colleagues and we had a great time. The cheese platters are excellent — I’d only suggest they provide you with some spoons to pick up some nuts and cranberries some cheese knives. The beets were also delicious. I had the meatloaf was also very good, but not amazing. I didn’t care for the cucumbers/mushrooms served with it as well. Overall, it’s a solid restaurant and one that I wouldn’t have expected to find in Billings, so a pleasant surprise. Stop by! You won’t regret it.

Came here for a work dinner. Interesting location, little rough around the edges, but the restaurant is very well lit and inviting. Ordered four cheeses plate which was delicious! Coworker had the pasta special which I believe was a spinach pasta — I didn’t try but they said it was very good. I had the beet salad and roasted Brussel sprouts. The beets were fantastic with lovely nut and goat cheese(?) topping. The Brussel sprouts were very good though I’ve had better. Our guests had the halibut special which they ate every bit of. Not a cheap dinner — we each had two drinks(wine or beer) and the tab was $ 168. Definitely a great place for a special occasion or romantic dinner. Our waitress was great, and the timing of the appetizer, then the meal was perfect.

The cutest little place. I’m so happy I found this restaurant, the food is so unique and I love that there is always something new on the menu when I come in. Dishes are decently priced which makes it even more of a reason to com back and try something new. I love bringing my friends here for Sunday brunch!

The huckleberry pulled pork was overwhelmingly sweet and not worth eating. Everything else was fine but very middle of the road.(e.g. the beet salad was standard) The house ketchup wasn’t my thing either. It was too sweet and tasted like it was made with pumpkin pie spice. Given my other eating experiences in Billings, I know why this place is so highly rated. Is it one of the best places to eat in Billings, YES! Is it the best, NO.

This place is a food oasis. The burger is insane and perfect. Well done chef! Even though the chicken wrap is the worst thing to order at this place I did it just to test the waters. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the fiend greens were fresh and crisp. They have 5 – 6 local beers on tap and a solid little wine list. The wait staff are a little like ordering from a rough-neck or roustabout but I think that’s the charm. Great job!!!

Excellent dining experience with slower service because of an event in town. Exceptional food with creative use if flavor a and local ingredients. Dinner was so good we came back for brunch!

What a little treasure here in Billings. We went here for Sunday brunch after the 4th of July. How cute is the industrial, country chic décor. Service was wonderful. Our server was cheerful and seemed happy to be working at this café. She seemed enthusiastic about the food they serve. The food was quite tasty. My husband had the chorizo black bean burrito, which was large. The chorizo wasn’t super spicy, which my husband liked. He added avocado, which was a nice creamy element. I had the Benedict with bacon, grape tomatoes, and hollandaise. The hollandaise was creamy. The bacon was not cut evenly, so one end was nice and crispy(how I like it) and the other was underdone. The fat could have been rendered down a bit more. My eggs were poached, one was over and the other was perfect. At little more attention could be paid to food consistency in my opinion. I also got a side of potatoes. They are like home fries. It was served with homemade ketchup, which had a nice zip. No Tabasco was available, however to add extra spice, just sriracha. Overall is was a good experience, but keep the food consistent.

Amazing, quick service from a very friendly staff. I really love the small menu, it shows that they truly focus on each ingrediant. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I had the steak special and subbed Brussels for the asparagus. Not that I don’t love asparagus but I really wanted brussels. However my husband ordered the special and got the asparagus… do good! Although the cheese plate is good, it is VERY small!

Fantastic service! Delicious food! And a great atmosphere. I had the steak special with roasted potatoes and peblano purée. The steak was cooked perfectly. I ordered medium and it came out light pink and soo Juicy! Though the peblano purée was the star of the show! Another must try is the French roast coffee. Best cup of coffee that I’ve had in a long while. Very bold in flavor but does not overpower you with taste. Perfect cup of Joe with cream and sugar. Shout out to Jarod(waiter) he was attentive funny and helpful! If your anywhere close to Billings this is a must stahp for breakfast!

Today is Mother’s Day, we have forgotten since we’ve been on a Road Trip for almost 3 weeks! In Billings, we decided to stop for lunch, but of course, many restaurants are packed with families trying to spend Mother’s Day brunches with their moms, and reservations are necessary, or THEY’RECLOSED! The next one to call, instead of just walking in like normal people do. .. they were about to close in 30 mins. but they have seats available for us @ the bar. We got there in less than 3 mins. We were seated right away, and got served right away. Our server was very prompt, and knowledgeable about their menu, I was very lucky to get the last one of their Seafood Special, it came with aspagus & black forbidden rice and two eggs. Mine was DELICIOUS! I’ve never heard of black forbidden rice before, but both me & my husband liked it a lot! He ordered the Eggs Benedict. He thought it was absolutely wonderful! Best he’d ever had. The restroom were clean, think about this one: they must have been busy earlier, but we’re the last customers(there are still a lot left), but we’re 2nd to the last to enter, but when I got to the bathroom, they were still CLEAN! I was just taking notes, on my iPhone when our very friendly & polite server came by to make sure we got everything we needed, when I told her, how pleased we were! It sure was a gourmet treat, found by accident, for a Mother’s Day celebration! Thank you!

So, it took us about 6 months, but we went back — and I’m so glad we did. The beet salad was better than ever. Then, my husband and I did something we almost never do — we both ordered entrees. We still split them, but they were great! I chose the duck and he selected the scallop special. The duck was overcooked, but absolutely delicious! Extremely well seasoned. The scallops were on forbidden rice, and they were absolutely magical. Perfectly cooked. The service was super! All in all, it was a great experience.
