Motel 6

Great experience staying at this Motel 6. Very clean rooms. Also, liked the nice retro look. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Beach is literally right across the street. For the price you cannot beat this place. Will definitely be back!

I have been traveling for 10 weeks straight. So I am beginning to know the levels of service at the various motel chains.
This one’s only benefit is the location. (and I have had some good experiences with Motel 6 along the way)
Wifi is poor and you have to pay for it. (Many motel6’s have free wifi).
Bed was like a rock. Seriously. This alone will keep me from coming back.
Unsafe — truck broken into right next to ours. No video in back parking area per front desk.
No complimentary continental breakfast /​just coffee (Many of the franchises have them).
Vending machine for soda had broken $ slot. (we didnt have enough change).
Front desk staff is all honey and sweetie but doesnt actually get things done.
No fridge /​no microwave in room. (many motel6’s have them)
Handicapped room is less than ADA accessible.
Pluses:
Laundry room and ice machine area neat and clean. and was directly across from our room making it easy to do laundry.

I love the friendly staff and love that they are pet friendly! So my pup and I can stay together! My non-​smoking room was very clean and i loved the modern style with the Orange walls. Overall, I enjoyed my stay! But I thought the bed was too hard; it slept like a box spring. It would be good for one night stay, but two nights would bother my back. (And I’m a healthy 26 year old) And the air conditioner in the room made a loud clinking noise during the night so to fall asleep I really had to tune that out. But my pup and I had worn ourselves out at the beach and at Shaggy’s so we fell asleep pretty fast. So in a nutshell: if you’re looking for a basic nice clean place for one night for you and your pup right across the street from the beach, then this place will work for one night. After that, you’ll need a softer mattress. Cheers! Enjoy biloxi! We did!

Disaster absolute lack of management
After arriving the front desk told me I would be in a handicap room wich I had my mom with me and OK. While checking the room we discovered the air conditioner was not working properly so I caught Mr Aucoin the G.M. in the hallway he looked at it and said he would refund our money when asked about another room he walked off no response at all!!! Really??? I was looking forward to a day or two of beach time and we got thrown out because the ac did not work really???
At the front desk I was handed a pile of forms to fill out for the refund not once did I hear sorry for the inconvenience or anything from Mrs Candy the A.G.M the staff at this hotel has no sense of customer service or hospitality I have never felt so disrespected in my life we could not find a room so we had to return home motel 6 is a joke

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Fairly clean and on the beach with friendly staff. Their ice cream machine didn’t work tho… boooo. They sell shampoo in a vending machine.

This is a very good option for a budget traveler. The rooms are newly renovated with no carpets. They offer laundry facilities and a microwave, mini fridg. The mattresses are firm but clean. I would recommend this place for any seasoned traveler or family looking for a good place to rest, clean up and enjoy a beautiful spot on the gulf coast. The front desk was very friendly. They let me check out an hour later since I checked in at 2am New Year’s Eve
