We stayed two days at this motel, which is right across the street from the beach. Our staff person was very professional and helpful, even changing our original room for another that was more convenient for us! We found the room clean and comfortable with no problems at all! There is a fridge, microwave coffee maker, clean sheets and towels and Free WiFi. I recommend this Motel!

OK, so a reminder that 2-stars is «MEH.» Not«AVOIDATALLCOSTS.» Stayed there recently for a VA trip(they are on the VA’s short list/contract for outpatients). This one-time convention hotel has seen much better days. Much. It is a bit worn and dated, and not quite as clean as it could be. I did not see bugs as many others have. But it was December. Cockroaches do not scare me. But again, did not see any. LOVED the smell of the Gulf in the evening. PROS: Great staff, Gulf breezes. Next door to Waffle House lol. CONS: Dated, cleanliness, wear and tear. Better options nearby, as other reviewers have noted.

The worst of the worst. We stayed here while visiting relatives in the area. This is a bare bones basic motel with small beds, micro-small bathrooms, and COCKROACHES. Yep– we cut our stay short on day 2 as we found roaches all over; disgusting cockroaches scaling the walls, all over the bathroom, and hiding in corners. Here’s the most upsetting part– while the hotel agreed to refund the room charges for the week, they offered no assistance for our displacement, and no apologies, either. 14 hours from home, we were left trying to find last second accommodations for a family of 4. I recommend traveling a little east to the casinos. You’ll find much better value, and not risk taking home unexpected souvenirs(roaches).

I’ll stick strictly to facts here. They have roaches. I suppose some people might not mind sharing the already cramped room with a few dozen or more disease ridden roommates. I’ll leave that up to you. The rooms are conditioned, yet always stuffy and humid enough to make a Turkish bath look like it’s not even trying. If neither of these things bother you, then you probably won’t be bothered by the lack there of style cleanliness or the dual purpose toilet shower closet either. They did refund the fee for the stay, but offered nothing for the trouble and headache it caused. There are lots of much much nicer places for no more money. Try one of the casino hotels, or end up wishing you had.

It’s a motel. Two beds, a bathroom, a good-sized mini fridge, coffeemaker, and a TV. The continental breakfast was pretty good. More like a small buffet, since it had an egg option(Scrambled or hard boiled, depending on the day) and some sort of meat(sausage some days, bacon others).

This hotel is directly next to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center, and it’s obvious these rooms have seen some serious prior partying, as you’ll see even by looking at the room door as you insert your key card. The bedside lamp didn’t work, the AC motor was so loud, it woke me up out of a dead sleep. The deadbolt on the door to the adjoining room wouldn’t rotate to the lock position, so I had to prop the ironing board against the door knob. Seriously? There was mold in the shower grout. I needed to call for a wifi password, and the phone didn’t even work, so I had to walk back to the front desk. The pillows weren’t too bad, and the bedding wasn’t too bad either. I’ve seen worse. You’ll get much better value and enjoyment by staying down the road in one of the casinos. They offer wonderful rooms at the same price as this musty, dented, broken down place.

For a 3 star hotel, this is really good. My three stars are based on the whole hotel universe. Now, if you just focus on the particular class of hotel, this this is a 4 star. Meaning, for a Quality Inn(and all of it’s associated incarnations) this was very nice. It was a fantastic deal giving how much everyone else around there wants to charge of ta comparable. My only two big, huge complaint, is the pool and no wifi. It would be nice if they hired someone to clean it and get rid of the mold growing it. Some of us actually like to get in the pool on a hot day. And no wifi, seriously? This is 2011 for god sake. My phone could be a hot spot.

For a Motel, I would usually limit myself to a 4 star rating, but after inexcusably bad experiences with Super 8 Motel and Bootleggers Pizza, and in light of the extraordinary experience I’ve had here so far, I am compelled by my conscience to grant a full 5 star solute to the Quality Inn. I called the Quality Inn while planning my escape from the charming Biloxi Super 8 after catching a contact high from the cannabis fog bank that was rolling in under the shared door from the next room over. I called and spoke to Jack, the night desk manager. Jack was very nice and offered to sell me a room for what I had paid at the Lousy 8. After checking out of the Crappy 8 and getting my money back we braved the harrowing mile and a half journey down the road to the Quality Inn. Immediately, I was struck by how clean and quiet this place is. The only thing about this place that says«Motel» is the external room format. The rooms are nicely appointed with solid furniture, comfortable mattresses, and a marble vanity. Free HBO and 3 tiers of wi-fi(one of which was free) come standard with the room. Jack was very personable as he checked us in and offered us free toothbrushes for the kids when I asked for toothpaste as we had just run out. He suggested a couple of restaurants for tomorrow and made sure to let me know that if we needed anything, that we were to call him straight away. I’ll actually be able to sleep tonight, and for everything Jack did for us, he’s my new Unilocal hero of the week. People like Jack are a credit to an already solid organization, and to the hospitality industry in general. Keep up the good work Quality Inn, and keep hiring people like Jack, as he has earned you a loyal customer.
