I went to this coffee shop the first time today. I’ve been wanting to go here since I drive by this coffee shop often. I was craving for a croissant or something to go with my cappuccino so I picked up a muffin. I could barely bite into the muffin. It felt like biting into a month old muffin. It wasn’t fresh at all. The muffin was very dry and the flavor wasn’t there either. It was very disappointing. It was the worst muffin I ever had in my life. Hopefully the management will do something about it. It would be a pleasant place to sip on a cappuccino and have a fresh pastry. I hope I will have a better experience next time.

I wanted so badly to give this place five stars… The food was worthy, the coffee was worthy, and the atmosphere was comfortable… However the manager(disclosed to us by a regular patron) was SORUDE. Rude to me, not any other customer. I went in feeling awesome! Ready for my family vacation to begin, I left feeling totally burdensome. Yes, I did start my order for my entire family before realizing that my husband was tending to our disabled son in the car and would be a few moments longer than I anticipated. YES, I did offer to step aside so you could help your other customers. Yes, I did want to pay extra for ALL the veggies listed on the burrito BYOB menu(BYOB means BYOB). Yes I did smile and stay polite regardless of her nasty eye rolling and angsty teen attitude(she was as least 30yrs of age). But NO!!! I am NOT a tourist, not that your treatment of me should vary according to where you think I live. Thank you for being so bitchy that other customers felt the need to inform me that«that’s just how she is». Thank you for digging at me on a very hard day already. I don’t usually cry during breakfast. NO you didn’t know what a hard emotional journey we were still grappling with, so you felt okay being so totally unkind. YES I am aware that you were likely just having a rough moment, that is why I stayed polite. The food was great, but I was nauseous and anxious by the time it arrived.

The most amazing cup of flavored awesomeness my money can buy! The staff is extremely friendly and wonderful. I was greeted by the most heavenly barista when I walked in, with eyes brighter than the burning sun in the sky. I ordered my standard beverage and could tell that the special ingredient used at Mugs to keep people coming back is love. Highly recommended, if you are having a bad day, let Mugs brighten it for you!

Very nice Café, great coffee, décor and food. More a communal vibe– a place to be out and about. Worth the drive over from Hood River.

The perfect latte can be found here. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, a nice classy place to meet friends. Wish they would be open late and offer dessert and wine! I had their veggie turnover and it was very tasty and I would come back again to eat here.

Great espresso. Awesome friendly people. Such a sweet spot, fresh flowers, art work and Tour De France on the LCD. Bingen is a great town to escape the Hood River madness :) Stop in and have a cup

Was in town for the weekend visiting a friend and came across this delightful shop. I must say, I was blown away! Walking in, Mugs has a warm, comfortable atmosphere that, coupled with its locally roasted coffee and superb staff, is unparalleled. Along with my normal latte, I decided to splurge and get the Turkey Brie Pear Panini, which was absolutely divine. What I thought was going to likely be a quick, forgettable stop ended up turning into a wonderful morning that I look forward to replicating the next time I am in town. I am not always in Bingen, but when I am… I drink Mugs.
