Good breakfast for a decent price. Service can be more desirable. Cracker Barrels’ breakfasts has never failed, but their service can be a bit of a hit or miss. The waitress we had wore bold frame glasses and forgot many things from our menu as well as forgetting to bring water and refill our coffee. She blamed her forgetfulness on the crowdedness of the restaurant. We looked around. It was a Monday morning and there’s eight table in the entire restaurant aside from us… Unacceptable. Giving her a 10% tip was even too much in my opinion. Other than my service rant, the food was great as always. It arrived hot-ish warm so it’s clear that the food had been sitting out for a bit before arriving on our table. The apple butter and biscuits were very good. The gravy left something to be desired as it tasted like peppery globs of cream. I ordered my eggs over easy, it came out perfect. The bacon had enough fat and crispiness to it. The sausage tasted okay. The hash brown casserole was lacking a certain homemade quality to it, it looked like something that McDonald would serve if they were to ever make this. Overall, I didn’t expect too much and got pretty much what I predicted. An average chain with better than average food with slightly below average service.

Service is poor. The waitress brought the wrong drinks over and also botched up my order. Instead of corn I got steak fries. They don’t sound anything alike so I don’t see how she mixed those 2 up. The fried shrimp was burnt as well. The other Cracker Barrels I’ve been to were much better than this one.

Cracker Barrel breakfast, you did not disappoint! Stopped in for breakfast around 11AM, but were given lunch menus. Whoops. I had momma’s french toast with bacon and«scrambled» eggs. The french toast and bacon were amazing… the eggs not so much. They basically cooked it in the form of an omelette but with no fillings. Oh well. Anyways, the service was great and just what we hoped for from CB.

Was here last week. To my surprise I really enjoyed myself. I ordered the lemon pepper trout, my husband ordered the chicken sandwich… and it was delicious. The atmosphere was rustic and cozy. The staff was very pleasant. I will definitely be going back.

(3 ½ stars but Unilocal doesn’t allow that) First time here, ever, and I thought it was pretty solid. The gift shop was cute and the service was good. The wait for the table of four was only about ten minutes(Friday night at 6:30ish). I got the chicken and biscuits platter with hash brown casserole, mashed potatoes and broccoli. I was surprised by the broccoli because it wasn’t overcooked to the point of mush. It was perfectly um okay to the standards of broccoli. The hash brown casserole was delicious; cheesy and potatoey. The mashed with gravy was okay. Definitely have had better. The biscuits and corn muffins were amazing! Not too heavy and the corn muffins were my favorite. The chicken and biscuits were kind of one note, but I guess that’s the norm. Yummy as leftovers for breakfast. Mom and sis got the fried haddock, which while cold ish, was crispy and was a good portion. Very crunchy and the tartar sauce was on point. Other sis got buttermilk fried chicken breast. I wasn’t a big fan. It was okay. Overall bill for four was about $ 40(minus any drinks and dessert, ’cause we’re boring), and I’d say it was well worth it. Definitely would come back to try more. Wish there was one in LI.

This is our families road trip must have and this location was exactly what we expect from good olé Cracker Barrel. The food was good and fresh, the service was friendly and fast and the gift shop was cute as a button.

We ate everything. We ate the country fried steak. We desecrated the grits sides. We destroyed the extra biscuits and drank the gravy. We poured every last creamer into a mug and drank that, too. We left satiated, hunger having been defeated, at least for now.

Very popular spot… the service was prompt and friendly, and the food was passable. The menu is far too extensive… it’s nearly impossible to make a decision, as they give you so many choices. Not a bad spot for stopping if you’re traveling through and don’t want fast food(although, it kinda is fast food). The shop is a great novelty for the kids — I recommend picking up one of the wooden games that’s on the table — they sell them at the checkout for a very reasonable price — $ 3 if I recall.

One of the only chain-franchise establishments I really endorse, Can’t go wrong here! Stopped here quite a few times over the years, only complaint maybe, is if a bus trip has defended upon the resturant, making wait times too much. The Chicken & Rice dinner was excellent, picked up some bacon for the house! Will update bacon review after tasting

Friendly staff? Check. Extensive menu? Check. Quick service? Check. This is a go-to spot for my friends and I if we’re in the mood for some good old breakfast/brunch. The food here is always on point and never fails to disappoint. It is also really cheap — compared to NYC breakfasts. The location is a bit far from campus(near BMCC) but totally worth it. Definitely check this place out if you’re looking for some solid old school breakfast!

We had heard that the food was good so we took my wife’s mother to eat lunch there. The room was like eating in an open barn and very noisey. The dining area was divided by lattice barriers covered with old time relics and pictures. I sat next to one of these fake walls and all I could notice was how filthy it was. It was covered in thick dust and cobwebs. Cobwebs indicate spiders and where there are spiders there must be insects for them to eat. One the way out we visited the gift shop. I went to the Yankee Candle display and ran my finger along the top shelf and came back with at least a quarter inch of dust I used the men’s room which was ALSO filthy. I trained as a health inspector and this should never be like this. IF a place is that badly cleaned where it is seen my anyone who cares to look, how dirty is it in the back and the kitchen where people are not allowed to go? The food was mediocre at best and not cheap. Why would ANYONE go to this dust hole???

Love Cracker Barrel! Whenever I’m going somewhere it’s literally planned into the trip. It’s actually saved in my GPS. Really wish Long Island will get one!!! Well this time I came to the location in Binghamton, NY and as always it was great. The server was amazing. I ordered my meal with a side of hashbrown casserole(my favorite; I once got 10 to go), and she told me about a secret menu item that made it cheaper and got me the casserole plus more bacon!!! Please come to Long Island! We want it!!!

The food was good, as always, but the portions felt small to me and I can’t tell if that’s normal or typical. Service was cool. Sociable… and the bathrooms were clean. Awesome location if you need to stop on a road trip. Also pretty spacious inside and prices are to kill for. Seriously. That’s how they get the meat. I heard. Somewhere.

Best place to have a filling breakfast, perfect remedy to a hangover. The biscuits are to die for and their pancakes are so fluffy. Always be sure to order these two items on the menu. I love how they warm up your syrup for you too so it makes the pancakes extra good. A lot of people usually eat here so it’s packed during brunch hour. Definitely worth the wait and you can kill time in their store!

Absolutely delicious and super friendly service! Our family loves Cracker Barrel, we stop at them all over the east coast and I’ve got to say, this one takes the prize. We can’t say enough about the excellent service staff this location has, both in the store and in the restaurant. The food was tasty, warm and just right. When they say 10 minutes to seat you, don’t expect to wait longer, less time if anything. Can’t compliment them enough. If you don’t already know, they serve breakfast all day too!

i’m from Long Island, and we don’t have a Cracker Barrel within a 100 miles! Once I year, hubby and I make an annual road trip and Cracker Barrel is ALWAYS a stop! We are always happy, always plenty of choices and love that it’s consistent! Mainly we stop for breakfast, but if we miss the standard breakfast hours, we are A-OK, since breakfast is served all day! YUM!!! Make sure you get a jar of Fried Apples for home… makes a wonderful dinner with boneless pork chops!

Yum! All throughout college, I’d stop here on my drives to and from school for some nourishment. The biscuits are my favorite part of going to Cracker Barrel. On my way to school, I’d always pack a few extra biscuits to bring to my roommate, who also loved them. It’s hard to order something terrible here. Everything has that Pioneer-ish taste and feel; just hearty, American food. It’s also fun to kill some time at the store if the restaurant is full and you have to wait for a table(which is rare).

One of my favorite places to stop and eat on a road trip! Seriously for the quality and quantity of food you get, nothing beats it. And it’s such a welcome change from having to drive through day food on the road! Love their country store filled with nick nacks of seasonal items and also their old fashion candies and sodas they have on hand for purchase :)
