While these donuts are pretty amazing, I think they are a bit over priced. I probably enjoy donuts more than the next guy(I would consider them one of my main food groups…), but I just bought a half dozen to bring into the office and it was almost $ 8. I’d say most places would sell a half dozen for $ 5 or $ 6. They do have a great selection of donuts. All kinds of seasonal flavors going on. One that I really enjoyed that isn’t always there is the raised blueberry donut. It looked like a tradition fried donut, but it had blueberries in it.(They also have a blueberry cake one, it’s ok, but not the best.) They are loved by the public! There is always a line in the drive-thru. I would recommend going inside. I’ve never waited more than a minute or two. The service and the staff are typically pretty pleasant as well. Something I just learned about today is that they have punch cards and after spending $ 3 or more you get a punch. After three punches you get free things… who doesn’t love free things!

You had me at Reece Cup doughnut. Then I tasted the blueberry cake doughnut. Everything past that is a little fuzzy. Best doughnuts in town.

This place has some of the best donuts in town! The donuts are always soft and chewy. Beats krispy kreme by a landslide! Krispy kreme on 280 has the worse donuts, they were hard and unlike the usual upon 2 visits! Daylight has always been on point upon my more than 15 visits! Love the caramel covered donut and the strawberry glazed donut! We’ll be back! Sometimes the customer service is lacking, but the donuts are always fresh!

My co-worker brought a box of doughnuts into work one Saturday, and although I have no problem resisting free, sugary goodness, I found myself drawn to a classic glazed doughnut from Daylight. It’s the first item I’ve had from here, but ohhh man. It was SOGOOD. The doughnuts were made fresh, and every bite was like a dream. a warm, soft dream glazed to perfection. So I guess what I’m saying is that I USED to have no problem resisting doughnuts.

The doughnuts are made here fresh every day. You must try the pinecone. The doughnuts are much better than the large chain doughnuts that may be more conveniently located on 280, but these are worth the detour. The coffee is also very good.

Doughnuts are a passion for me. A passion that I do not get to enjoy all that often. When I order like 6 doughnuts and half of them are actually what they are supposed to be, then that is a bad day for the doughnut shop. Vanilla cream filled had uncooked dough in it which just about made me gag. We also ordered a Long John which had no filling in it? The doughnut holes were ok. The two chocolate glazed were decent. I can’t say that I will be back.

Very good service. Employees seem really nice. Donuts are EXCEPTIONAL. All varieties: yeast, yeast with icing, cake, cake with icing, cream-filled, jelly-filled are fantastic. Only 4⁄5 because it’s too far away. I live in western Jefferson County and the only donuts we have here are store bought(Publix, Walmart, etc) and Krispy Kreme(yuck!!!). This is the way doughnuts should be made. Golf clap.
