I have a baby. I don’t know much about them(still) but I do know this: You need almost NOTHING that you will be told you«need». Babies don’t like toys until they are like six months old. They don’t need«tummy time» so just stop. It’s not worth the hassle. You don’t need bottle warmers and wipe warmers and unicorn-tear water in lieu of the normal stuff. Baby stores in general are a big steaming crock of shit. And I am a pretty glam mommy who is a marketing exec’s wet dream. Baby stores are generally my worst nightmare come true. I don’t like babies(mine is fine — I’m keeping him). I hate the shrieking of other people’s children and the blatant, brash lack of decorum parents allow their special snowflakes to display in every public place imaginable. That being said: this store is actually quite nice. If you go in the morning before school is out, it’s more or less very quiet(even at the holiday season time), clean, well-organized, and amply staffed. If you are a first-time mom or pregnant lady, sales associates in the know will be your go-to and these people were very helpful and didn’t try to get me to buy boobie bars, nipple no-nos, butt kissing machines for my child’s tiny pink tush, or any other number of things with outrageous price tags and little to no practical value. They have a million and one toys, including the classics I was looking for and couldn’t find elsewhere. I was surprised to find a good selection of well-made wooden and natural-materials toys and supplies, too. Decent sales on breast pumps when I was there(yes, you need that and don’t skimp on that one), great sales on toys for children of all ages. Cons: OUTRAGEOUSLY priced, lesser-quality children’s clothes, overpriced basics like white onesies and socks. They do carry higher-end brands I use as my go-to like Bugaboo, Stokke, and Phil&Ted’s. The store is huge, easy to navigate(shock!), and has some good stuff. As a visitor from Europe, it was nice to be able to get many things in one place vs. going from boutique to boutique to buy things. Prices are still higher than Amazon or Target but the mark-ups may be worth it if you’d like to see and feel things you’re buying before making the purchase. Location is great — right in the Summit. Check to see if they’re having sales on what you need before you go. It seems like they rotate regularly and I got some good deals on otherwise over-priced items.

Visited a time or two to do Christmas shopping for the kids, but they really shined today when we returned a broken PS4 that we ordered from their online site. While they didn’t have one to exchange, they quickly and politely reversed the charge to my credit card with no muss or fuss.
