I recently ordered a dozen decorated cookies and a dozen cupcakes. The cupcakes were decorated beautifully and tasted great. I was extremely unimpressed with the cookie decoration and the taste was ok. Service was great, prices seemed like average bakery prices. Overall, I would say they do decent work.

Great cupcakes! The frosting was perfect, the cupcakes were moist. We ordered multiple flavors of cupcakes and everybody at the party was impressed! They were also decorated very beautiful. We will definitely order from here in the future!

Ordered the red velvet cake for a birthday. The flavor was good except it was baked too long as the edges were hard.

If I could, I would give this place zero stars. I am so disappointed that the only cupcake boutique Bismarck has is so terrible. I walked into Sweet Treats expecting so much more as their décor — from the street — looks so cutsie. The problem, however, is that it’s only cute from the street. As I walked inside I was looking forward to the smell of baked goods but instead was hit with an odor that reminded me of my grandma’s attic. There were dry, crusty and old cupcakes decorating the neon pink and green painted chairs in the window. I think the idea of this place is that you choose the type of cupcake you want, then choose a frosting and then toppings. I went with pumpkin spice with cream cheese frosting and my friend had vanilla/vanilla. My cupcake was OBVIOUSLY refrigerated. I’m sorry — I thought this was a bakery? One should never chill one’s cupcakes! The frosting was barely anything to write about. And don’t get me started on the vanilla cupcake! The cupcake was overdone and at least a week old. A proper cupcake shop should have its staple flavors(vanilla and chocolate) perfected! Sweet Treats isn’t even close. Take it from me that those crusty, old cupcakes used as décor are pretty indicative of what you’ll be served. I don’t even know how this place stays open. Do yourself a favor and get your cupcakes from Dan’s.

Cool concept but not well executed. What is the point of having a cupcake bar when they hide in the back to actually make it? The icing is ridiculously sweet, the cupcake was old and presentation was atrocious(see picture of blue cupcakes). I am all about supporting local businesses but $ 3 for a bad cupcake is not good. This place is very nice looking but the food needs a lot of work.

Stopped in on a busy Saturday in May to make sure I had a birthday(cup)cake for the next day. We purchased three cupcakes, along with two bars/brownies. Everything tasted yummy, but they need a new to-go container. Our cupcakes were simply placed upright in a large styrofoam to-go container — and yes, you guessed it — by the time we got home, my BF’s strawberry-topped cake had tipped over, getting it’s gooey-ness on my peanut butter topped cake! Travesty.

The cupcakes aren’t your mama’s bake sale cupcakes! They are moist and delish – not boring at all. Have not tried the out food… but I am heading back ASAP to try the soup!
