Good coffee, tasty food, quick service, right on the main drag. Good value for the dollar. Classic old style diner nestled in a beautiful part of Northwest Jersey. can’t get any better than that.

Went here on our way to PA what we discovered was a real Old school small town diner, noticed locals who all knew each other and where very friendly in giving us directions to all the spots the movie Friday the 13 was filmed including the diner itself, we enjoyed French toast and crispy bacon and scrambled eggs

Always great breakfast at the Blairstown Diner. Pancakes are great. Service always outstanding! Generally busiest on weekends but not usually a wait and they don’t rush you out.

We had breakfast here recently and the food was uniformly mediocre. I forget exactly what was ordered, but it included omelets and a reuben with fries. Skip it. Nice atmosphere, though.

So I’ve only been here once so far while visiting my cousin who just moved up this way. I really wanted to check this place out because like others have said it was in the first(original) Friday The 13th. I love the retro look that the diner has, the booths were very comfortable still. Our waitress was very nice and helpful with any questions we had. I had the Pizza Burger, which was so delicious. I also had dessert which was a piece of cheesecake and some vanilla ice cream, the cheesecake was probably the best I’ve ever had, phenomenal. I can’t wait to go there again and try something else off their menu.

It’s a place to get food if you need something immediately. I don’t eat here just because of the poor atmosphere. It hasn’t been updated in probably 50 years! And I think the breakfast is expensive for what they give you. I think is the worst diner around for like 20 miles. I am not a big fan of diners but don’t mind them for dining alone sometimes. It is better than fast food.

Food’s not bad… Service not so friendly… Booth seats need to be reupholstered desperately… They accept credit cards but don’t let you charge the tip. That’s slimy– screams tax evasion. :(

Excellent cheese steaks! I prefer the Italian which has mozzarella cheese and mushrooms. Service is always fast and friendly. Food is overall tasty and well prepared. This is a great local gem for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

This is a classic NJ diner, and exactly what you would expect: average food for cheap prices.

All-American Diner. It’s hard to miss this place in this town as the diner shines gloriously with all its silver, chrome, neon signs blazing. The food here is also very American: burgers, sandwiches, fries, shakes, etc. Don’t agree with one of the reviewer regarding service; they were very courteous, attentive and friendly. When you’re here, try the open-faced Reuben with corned-beef. Really good!

Stopped in for lunch around 2:30pm on Sunday. They were closing at three. Cheeseburger deluxe was ok. Fries were done well. I don’t think the burger was frozen. Coffee was good. Service was efficient but not overly friendly. Could be because they were getting ready to close. Very clean including the bathrooms. I will probably go back again and try breakfeast. By the way, this diner was featured in the movie«Friday the 13th».
