Subway

Worst experience at Subway I have ever had. I have ordered at this location more then once hoping for different results but they never disappoint to mess it up. I had to send in a coworker to pick up the food. Shortly after he arrived there I received a phone call telling me that they were out of bacon. Well this happens people run out of things. Sure no problem give me something different. Another Coworker of mine ordered a steak and cheese. When we got our subs I had no cheese on mine when I asked for swiss and cheddar. My other coworker received a steak and cheese with only 10% steak of what is supposed to be in there. I called back and told them I was disappointed but would keep two of the subs. We wanted to bring the steak and cheese back in to get another one. Employee on the phone claimed he was not there and just got to work at 8pm… The location closes at 9??? He said bring it in and he will gladly make us a steak and cheese. Fair enough my same co worker goes back to swap subs. The same employee is there that made the sandwich and argues with him that he has no more steak. He demanded that we pick something else. I could hear this over the phone when I was called about the steak being out. I asked to just get a refund for the steak sub. I will never go back here again. Mistakes do happen but this employee was caught in a lie and obviously does not know what he is doing there.

I’m gonna nominate this as probably one of the worst subways I’ve been to I work close by so I go there once in a while. All the times I’ve been there the employees all look unhappy and not very friendly. Plus they aren’t that clean. I’ve decided based on my experience today I WILL NOT GO BACK!

I know I know… it’s Subway. People are probably cringing at the mere mention of Subway. I personally don’t have a problem with a Subway. It’ll do just find for a reason to leave the office. Most locations I would probably give 2 stars but this one gets 3 for one BIG reason — Veggie Patty! OMG so happy! This is the first and only Subway I’ve been to that has a veggie patty available for a sub instead of just the usual veggie delight. I’ve gotten so addicted that I go there once a week for lunch. the fellow veggies out there know how exciting it is when you get something new and different to eat at the usual chains. Yay veggie patty!

I hit up this Subway for lunch on a regular basis as it’s close to my place of work. I’ve never had a problem here, but on my last visit, they were out of bacon, one of the soups of the day, and one other regular item (can’t remember now), all before noon, much to my coworker’s chagrin! They’ve been out of the chicken and dumpling soup when I’ve visited before (again, before noon) as well.
A tip: if you’re headed north on Woodward, skip the first Michigan left north of Square Lake (which puts you in front of Kirby’s) as the entire complex’s lot is somewhat convoluted and full of people who don’t LOOK before they ZOOM… go to the second Michigan left and avoid all the crazies!
