Having recently moved back to Bloomfield, I found myself very happy to have such a great bagel place in town! Fantastic bagels(there’s a ton more on r menu, as well!), friendly staff, and quick service! It’s always busy, so expect a bit of a line– but it goes quick. I highly recommend!

We tried a few different breakfast sandwiches and a meat lover’s omelette, and everything was delicious. No wait for our group of 12 and a friendly wait staff made it the perfect place to grab some breakfast while on the road.

Leaps and bounds above all of the surrounding chain bagel spots. My friend and I stopped into Isaac’s late Saturday morning between some Bloomfield errands, and I had no idea it was such a UH hotspot. And for good reason. Tons of options for bagels and cream cheese, wraps, sandwiches — even omelets and pancakes. My onion bagel with veggie cream cheese and vanilla hazelnut iced coffee totally hit the spot — and for around $ 5, can’t be beat. The line moved quickly and service was fast — if this was in my neighborhood, I’d be a regular!

I was so pleased with the food! Priced similar to most bagel shops but the best variety around! 1 less star just due to the wait, this place is packed during the workweek for lunch!

Had breakfast here Sunday before my hike. I ordered bacon steak and egg on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. My gf ordered bacon egg and chive cream cheese on a plain bagel. Both are sandwiches were awesome!

Scrumptious bagels, friendly staff, great prices! Love going here for breakfast and absolutely love the variety of bagels offered. Current fave is the jalapeño cheddar. To die for. My goal is to try them all! They also have a variety of hot sauces at the condiment bar which is a winner for me.

A very nice little bagel shop. I stopped by on a recent Sunday to get some breakfast. Service was prompt though having an Apple Pay sticker on the door and then not being able to pay with it seemed a little odd. But whatever. You come here for bagels. Quite good overall. My issue is that the everything bagel was a little too heavy on the garlic for my taste. This is a preference thing so if you don’t mind the garlic, the bagel was quite good. But with the egg, bacon and cheese sandwich, it just kind of overpowered it. What I liked though is that the egg is cooked on a grill, not a microwave and the bacon was crispy without being overcooked or dry. Good coffee as well.

I can’t believe I hadn’t tried this place despite it being a mile away from my house. What a little gem in bloomfield! Came here on Saturday after a night of drinking. Ordered two cheddar jalapenos everything with bacon egg and cheese and steak egg and cheese. The bagels were delicious. Fluffy, tasty and chewy in a good way with a nice crunch. The fillings were nothing to talk about but the combos were pretty good and very reasonably priced. The inside is also offers a pretty nice atmosphere. Having this place so close to my house is a blessing and a curse. Definitely a place to go to for breakfast if you’re in the bloomfield area!

This has easily become my new favorite bagel spot for breakfast sandwiches. The bagels(variety of flavors) are always so fresh and tasty. Items are priced very reasonable for bagels with cream cheese or spread to all sandwiches. I haven’t come across another bagel establishment in the area with fresher bagels. My favorite bagel is the garlic asiago with cheese,(must try) the flavor combination is to die for! Lasty the owner, his family and staff are always so welcoming and inviting. With decent prices, great bagels and friendly atmosphere you can’t go wrong.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I am officially in love with Isaac’s, in every sense of the word. Their bagel selection is amazing, especially if you like Jalepenos.(They have about 3 different jalepeno bagels). They also offer all sorts of different bagel sandwich options, with all sorts of different deli meat options on there. Salami on an everything Jalepeno bagel is amazing. The spreads are also great as well. Lastly the prices are fantastic. You can get a huge bagel sandwich, with a bag of chips for about 6.00

Today was my first visit, I may upgrade to 4 stars in the future, but what I ordered today was more of a 3. Egg/cheese/spinach/tomato on jalapeño bagel. The jalapeño bagel was pretty bland, not as dense and chewy as I’d like, but very pleasant. My food was very fresh, which was great. The cheese wasn’t melted, which was weird. There were far more food offerings than I expected, this place is more like a bagel diner or deli. The décor was interesting, there’s a chill out area. What really warmed my heart was that in this diner of older quiet patrons, a very loud pop song suddenly blared from speakers by my ears. It was so out of character for what I expected, I assumed it was a mistake. Then the staff came out dancing with a cupcake and candle and I realized it was a birthday song. It was such a cute family vibe. I could see the people that work there and patrons seem very happy. I will be back.

Every time I’ve come here the bagels have always been fresh and crisp. Usually I will just order my regular: a sesame bagel with regular cream cheese. Yesterday I decided to try the jalepeno cream cheese spread for the first time just to see what it tasted like. I was pleasantly surprised. The taste was not as overwhelming as I thought it might be. Whenever I think of jalepeno — or any peppers for that matter I think of eyes watering, mouth burning and you reaching for that nearest pitcher of water just to ease the burn! But because the peppers were mixed evenly enough into the cream cheese it was not overwhelming for my taste buds at all. Actually, the bagel was very tasty with that added spice to it. Occasionally I have ordered egg and sausage breakfast sandwiches from here and I especially like how they cook the yolks of the eggs. The yolk is just runny enough to my liking, but not raw or undercooked where you would get sick. Sometimes with breakfast sandwiches the yolks are to hard, almost like rubber. Isaacs makes them just right however The only minor drawback is the hour. s They are usually only open until about 3, so it might not be the best place for you to order a late lunch from. But if they open up as early as they do in the morning then its only natural they would close earlier in the day. For me that is not really enough to subtract a whole star. I like all of the staff there and it has that very family-orientied atmosphere that you don’t see to much of today.

I had a turkey sandwich on a hard roll from here today and the bread tasted like it had been sitting out all day. That did it for me. Won’t come back here.

I LOVE this place. Their bagels are fantastic, the food is always fresh and hot off the grill, the people who work there are super nice. I come here at least twice a week. Beats any other bagel place any day.

I love a good bagel. Grocery store bagels suck — they’re awful. This place was really quite good! I’d absolutely come back to grab a bagel. It’s a cute little place that has enough room to order food and eat there. I grabbed my bagel and cream cheese to go after a night shift. It was deeeeeeelicious.

The smallish Oy Vey Bagel Café has been re-imaged as a new, modern and much larger establishment. Now owned by Isaac, the namesake of the popular convenience store next door, the newly opened Isaac’s Bagel Café is a smash hit. They do a brisk bagel business in the mornings, both of the eat-in and carry out variety. Very good selection of bagels and pastries. Lots of different cream cheeses. Lots of breakfast sandwiches. Lots of deli sandwiches for lunch. We stopped in for breakfast a few Saturdays ago and it was very nice– a good crowd enjoying the new tables and chairs and booths, a slamming breakfast business, and smiling Isaac overseeing the works. Two fresh, hot delicious breakfast sandwiches and 2 coffees for abour $ 10! One more things– it’s nice how they dedicate a part of the dining room to the Veterans who regularly congregate there in the morning– honoring our servicemen is a really nice touch. They have quite an eclectic crowd– UHa students, lots of Bloomfield’s finest, commuters, and the old-timers.
