Best buffet! The food was hot! I love love the honey chicken and crab ragoons. The waitress was very nice! The building is not the greatest, but the food was excellent! The selection was awesome! My husband and I are definitely going back!

Great service always. Great amount of food for price. It’s always a bit steamy, but no complaints here! Family friendly, buffet only. Love these guys 16 $ feeds two with drinks, all u can eat. Next to big lots, plenty of parking.

The waitress is rude the owners are rude and they’re too busy watching what people are getting on there plate then giving good service and good food. The place is dirty ! The worst place in Bloomington!

I went to this place with low expectations, and that being the case, left satisfied. There is simply one word for Great Taste Buffet: Adequate. First, the entry confusion: You pay first, but there was no sign indicating this or anyone to greet me. I stood around like a lost, hungry deer for a moment, and finally someone came to take my payment. I assumed that was the end of interaction, but as I was grabbing my plate, the lady pointed out my apparent assigned table. Alrighty then. Onward to the buffet! And by buffet, I mean two short carts of food, and a third off to the side for pudding, fresh fruit, and dessert items. I was really skeptical by the small space, closed quarters, and limited options, but all in all, the food wasn’t half bad. I didn’t eat anything that I didn’t like, but nothing really stood out as fantastic. Picture the most typical, average, regular-ass Chinese buffet food you’ve ever eaten. That’s what you’ll get here. I will say, they get an A+ for price. It was less than $ 7 for lunch, drink included. That’s cheaper than China House was, when it was over here on the West Side. Mmmm… China House. God, I miss China House. Chinese Buffets are an increasingly endangered species in Bloomington anymore, which makes no sense to me at all. I mean, come on. It’s a diverse college town. Do these owners not realize the market there is for a place where stoners and forever-aloners alike can gorge themselves silly on delicious buffet food? Considering the fall of the Great Wall and the fact that China House is no longer open, it’s pretty much this place or bust, unless you want to drive to Eastland Plaza for food that’s on par with this, usually less so.(If I’m wrong about that, for the love of god, do not hesitate to inbox me where a gal can get some awesome Chinese Buffet in town! I’m jonesing!!)

This was the first chinese buffet I was ever exposed to. I’m kind of a picky eater, and I tend to shy away from chinese food. Fortunately, I’ve found pretty simple items at the buffets that appeal to me. With China House closed, this is the only buffet on the west side. My past experiences weren’t bad, but after my last visit, I’ll go to one of the buffets on the east side. In the past I was OK with the food but put off by the scary bathrooms. This time even the food was a bit off. I had my usual chicken dishes that included peppered chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and the chicken on a stick. The peppered chicken wasn’t bad. The chicken bits for the sweet and sour chicken felt and tasted overcooked, and the chicken on the stick was pretty cold. That’s about as much description as the food deserves. The staff was a bit nicer than they used to be, but that didn’t make up for the food. Pretty forgettable.
