Z & C Teriyaki and Sushi Restaurant

This place is phenomenal couldn’t ask for a better meal in Bloomington. I love the new renovations it adds a lot to the experience. I would highly recommend getting the spicy mayo it is very nice and the atmosphere is good.

Its one of the few places in this town open late, and that’s always appreciated. Cheap, fast, and pretty edible.
I’d suggest not touching the walls or tables here. As a late night haunt, there’s some weird stuff that goes on here

Hot spot for those late night cravings. It’s a quick place to grab some food to eat, but if you’re looking for something to please the palate there are other options. The people in there are so cute and ready to feed you.

I’ve walked by this place many times always refusing to go in because it just looks shoddy to me. Well, after a few friends insisted it was «sooooo goood!» I finally decided to try it out.
The chicken was good. Not amazing, but good. However, when I order lo mien, I want lo mien; not spaghetti noodles with some weak tasting soy sauce concoction on top.
Also, while I was there, an employee got on break to eat and sat a table over from me slopping and slurping so loudly, I had to put earbuds in so I could finish my meal without getting sick.
Needless to say, I won’t be wasting my money here when japonee is just up the street.

The teriyakis are pretty decent. However, do not try their dan dan noodles, it’s just instant ramen with some random ingredients thrown on top. Not worth the money at all. If you are looking for a meal that fills you up, this is not the place.

The best Asian food you can get for its price. I love their teriyaki chicken bowl with fried rice. Actually I think it’s the best chicken teriyaki l’ve ever had.

While not very attractive on the outside the food is good. It’s really fast and generally clean. Prices are comparable to similar restaurants in the area. Inside is not super presentable… would not recommend for a family dinner or even a business lunch.
I would recommend for a quick meal, especially on the go or if you’re simply craving some Chicken Teriyaki.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It doesnt look like much from the outside, but it is pretty good quality inside. I feel bad that they are across the street from a Panda Express and it seemed many people who were considering coming in to eat caved and went there instead. Oh well, they are missing out.
I am generally pretty cautious about ordering sushi at a Asian fast food place that looks like it caters mainly to the teriyaki crowd, but I was craving it so I gave in. For $ 12.99 the three roll combo is a pretty good deal. I ended up getting California roll, spicy tuna and yellowtail. I have to admit, I was really surprised. I wasnt expecting much, but it was very good. I particularly loved the seaweed. Sometime sushi seaweed can be very dry and flavorless. This was a tad moist and had really amazing flavor. All the rolls were above decent.

Amazing portions of food for the price you pay, the chicken is great! The location is perfect and ideal if you’ve been out at the local bars drinking. The best deals are there sushi combo options, its just a great all around deal.
