No complaints had the egg white spinach omelette and pancakes. The coffee was good the juice was good. I go back to this location anytime. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

My friend and I were seated immediately. Server(Tamika i believe) came over to ask what beverage we would like. We placed our order of diet soda and coffee. Meanwhile others are being seated, even orders for food taken. We waited about 10 minutes for her to come back with beverages and to take our order. Breakfast came out about 20 minutes later. Our server said she would be back with ketchup and hot sauce(never asked for it) My French Toast was COLD. She comes back without making eye contact and almost slams two bottles on the table. SHENEVERCAMEBACKTOCHECKONUS. My dining partner finished her drink before the condiment arrival. never got a chance to ask for a refill. Waited and waited for the check which never came. Got up to go to the hostess who said, ‘thanks for coming in’. i said, I’m still waiting for my check.(Could have just walked out but I don’t dine and dash no matter what the circumstances) Our server comes up, I complained to her directly, and she looked at me with a stare and said, ‘oh i aplogize’. she gave me my check, and I paid with no tip. Inexcusable service.

Been here 3 times over a month for various reasons. Sometimes busy times and sometimes not. I do like the new IHOP menus if you’ve got a raring sweet tooth; however, whether slow or busy, the service is uniformly slow, mostly clueless and indifferent. «Thanks for the food 25 minutes later, how about some silverware?»

Came to this location today with my nephew for lunch and it was really good. Our waitress was amazing and the service was very fast. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Our food came out hot and delicious. Pleasurable experience. Will definitely return.

Terrible greeter and management combo! Management personnel seemed indifferent about how the greeter messed up the order of who needed to be seated first and the fact that the greeter never verbally apologized(saying he was busy). This clearly is a management issue since allocation of job responsibilities for the greeter led to the situation. At first, I felt just being mistreated by the greeter and his rude response but, the more and more I think, this is a mismanagement situation. If I were IHOP’s HQ, I would reassess the manager’s evaluation for the year. I would take off points for her incompetence in the area of resource management and, in addition, submit the greeter to have sensitivity and public relations education and training. In regard to the server, she was great! The food was also moderately prepared as well. Overall, the manager’s and the greeter’s combined incompetence, I am giving this location a one star. I can, however, predict that other’s could have a different experience as long as you appear older and % wise represent the majority race in the US.

Had a bite of VERY moldy biscuits and gravy and management didn’t seem to care. There’s no way the cooks didn’t see it before they prepared it.

Where to begin… Only 10 minute wait which isn’t bad on a Sunday. After seated however waited about 5 more minutes to even order drinks. By that time we knew what we wanted to order. Our waitress was very nice enough, kinda forgetful though. In the international house of pancakes that’s what we waited the longest for. The food came out in increments which was annoying. Two people got their whole meals and my friend and I were left with only hash browns. Honestly the food was really good. But some minor tweaks need to be made, to me they make all the difference Also gave us the check mid meal. Annoying

I came here for breakfast with a large group of people — 9 in total. The food was good. Good pancakes, eggs, and meats. Crispy hash browns. All tasty. But the service was SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. I will go back if my kids ask. If not, I will venture somewhere else. Did I mention that the service was slow?

Better than you’d imagine. Very busy always a wait but its a smooth process and the service is above average. The food isn’t terrible. The hash browns are good, the eggs are plain. The pancakes and french toast taste great. The prices aren’t bad at all.

I would say that I am never going back to this IHOP again, but that would be a lie. This is the closest one to my home so I’m sure I’ll be back soon. My food was wonderful but my server was horrible. She wrote down our while order and only brought half of it to our table. Then when I told her we were missing stuff she asked with an attitude what were we missing. «I mean hello were you drawing comics on your note pad???» Anyway after she finally bought the rest of our things out if was too late she had already ruined our visit. You don’t go to a restaurant to have half the table eat before the other half. She was just rude too. So hopefully I never have her as a waitress again.

My GF and I walked into this IHOP on New Year’s Day late morning. Although there wasn’t an empty seat in the house to be seen, the hostess promptly seated us and we were waited on quickly. Considering how crowded it was, I was surprised at how fast we received our food. Our breakfast was delicious and the service was friendly.

I have to admit that my love of IHop extends back to the days of yore when it was the International House of Pancakes. And although they have shortened the name to keep up with the growing world that is hostile, or just plain apathetic, to any language that can’t be condensed into texting code. [I’m composing this on my phone, by the by.] Just hearing we were going to a IHop reached down into my subconscious and made the ten year old me smile. The routine is the same as when I was a child. You go and wait for a table to clear. Apparently no matter what IHop, no matter what time period. Brilliant.

I wish I could give negative stars. Hostess is rude. Servers belong at a truck stop. The cooks are great, but can’t make up for the terrible front of the house issues. My kids may kick and scream about it, but my family will never return.

Ihop is just like every other iHop. You get fast, greasy good. The coffee is awful. But the staff is nice and the place is clean.

Okay — let’s get on the right level. It’s an Ihop — outside on norristown and in the beginning of blue bell. Service is 2 stars because they are always busy doing something, I never see them standing around. Always pretty nice and greet the table warmly. Not the most elite at proficiency. My server today one — forgot our bananas an then served us not ripe bananas and they tasted terrible. On top of having to remind him to bring them, and being hard and bitter they charged us 2.50 each!!! For not even a good banana!!! Next he forgot the shortstack my friend ordered. This guy really needs to eat his wheaties before going to work. The food is consistently pretty good.

This place needs to be visited by a health inspector! I was seated at a booth with a leak in the ceiling that was splashing who knows what onto my food. I called the manager and all she had to say was that the area should be sealed off, walked away and didn’t come back! She didn’t even offer to reseat me! If I get ill I’m filing a formal complaint! Atrocious customer service and disgusting restaurant!

Three of us went to this IHOP for dinner yesterday evening. Three of us had absolutely abysmal food poisoning this morning. I was up from 3 a.m., Jason was up at 4, and Iain had to leave work early. I’m not 100% sure what the source was, but our meals had only two things in common: onion rings and pancakes. It could have been the butter as well. That’s not what I’m here to complain about, though. We called this afternoon about compensation for our over $ 50 bill, and we were told that, since we had no proof of illness, they would do nothing for us. None of us had been to a doctor, and they said that food poisoning always sets in 48 – 72 hours after eating contaminated food(a complete falsehood), so no nope no sirree it was not IHOP’s fault and they would not do a thing for us. Makes you wonder just how many«false» allegations of food poisoning they deal with regularly. EDIT: What infuriates me the most is the number of customers who could be getting sick because the restaurant refused to even entertain the possibility that they are responsible. Forget the money. What I want is accountability.

Brought the kids here on a Friday evening and pleasantly found out that kids eat free on Friday evenings with every paid adult entrée! Seeing as the place was virtually dead, I can see why they would have this offer to try and bring in business. Our waiter was very cheerful and took good care of us. He knew the menu well and was able to answer a question that I had. Our meals came out fast, but seeing as there were only two others in the place, I would have been surprised if it had not come out quickly. We all went with breakfast items even though it was dinner. Kids enjoyed their silver dollar pancakes and bacon and I went with one of their crepes. Food is pretty much average, but the kids like coming here to grab breakfast at dinner time.

We came here to grab a bite but it was so crowded that we just ended up placing a takeout order. I decided to be brave and try the pot roast melt with fries. The sandwich itself was very good, with tender meat, buttered thick toast, and plenty of gravy, cheddar, and swiss. The only downside was the unseasoned fries, which were thick and bland. Other than that, the entrée was tasty and in expensive. Who would have thought? Plus it was ready in less than 10 minutes despite the crowd.

I’ve been to this IHOP a few times, and service and food quality is on-par with other locations in other cities and states, with no notable issues. It’s clean and typical-IHOP. Regarding Penny T.‘s review, I would not consider Blue Bell, PA to be the middle of podunk PA. I’m sure she experienced the story she wrote about since I’ve only ever ordered breakfast food(scrambled eggs, toast, sausage, omelettes, pancakes and the massive Big Breakfast Combo($ 9)) here. It’s probably a good idea to stay far away from salads at a place like IHOP.
