Firehouse Subs

I don’t really ever write reviews. But I love this place. I think I’ve had 4 different sandwiches and have been happy with every single one of them.
My buddy suggested the meatball sub and I didn’t think it would be any different than one from subway… boy was I wrong! So much flavor. If your thinking about going here, STOP THINKING AND GO!

Great place! Very consistant! My favorites are the Steamer and the Meatball. The Steamer is so juicy and flavorful. The staff is great, the place is clean.

I thought being Firehouse it’d have to be better than Subway and at least as good as Jersey Mikes. Well STOP THE PRESSES! I ordered an Italian sub and it tasted horrible. Why? I asked for oil & vinegar and they have only Italian dressing, and instead of regular yellow mustard or dijon, they have only deli mustard. And both their mustard and even the dressing, are SWEET. So I wound up with a disgusting, sweet Italian sandwich. So I added regular red wine dressing and even seasoning salt and still couldn’t overpower that nauseating flavor. Who the #&!@ ever wanted to eat a sweet Italian sandwich? Y-​U-​C-​K!
So if you’re in the mood for some scrambled eggs with whipped cream or perhaps you need to satiate that hankering for a grilled porterhouse with a cotton candy reduction sauce, then Firehouse is here to the rescue! (Because I doubt they’ll be offering what most of the world wants — oil & vinegar, or good dressing, or good mustard anytime soon.)
P. s. This review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the two pieces of ham cartilage I pulled out of my mouth. That’s when I threw the remainder in the trash and spent the next hour trying to not throw up.

Freshest sub I ha e ever had! I’ve never been a big fan of subway because their food is not fresh at all, despite their slogan. But I tried Firehouse Subs the other day and the meat and bread were super fresh. Tasted like they had just sliced the meat and the bread was so soft. The pickles were delicious as well. Added bonus is that they contribute money to a good cause.

Employees were nice enough but incredibly slow. They made 2 of our 3 sandwiches incorrectly. Just as slow when they had to remake them. Firehouse does have good sweet tea and we will visit other locations.

There was so much hype around this place I had to try them out. The environment looks cheap like a subway, the food is subway quality, and the staff was probably hired from Subway. The only memorable thing about this place was that they give back to the local community. The term «great» doesn’t come in to mind at all when I think of this place. I’m still shocked with how many people tell me how much they love it. To each his own I guess but this place was not for us!
