Let me preface this by saying I try to be as understanding as possible when it comes to food service having worked in the field for 8 years. There are mistakes which everyone makes then there is laziness. I had a very simple order. Two meals and an order of cheddar peppers. After waiting almost 15 minutes in the drive thru we got to the window. My drink was incorrect which I excused because I was willing to drink what they gave me. We received our order and we were missing a part of it. I informed the guy at the window and he gave me a completely blank stare and I had to explain my issue 3 more times. He shut the window on me and I waited another 5 minutes or so before receiving my missing items. When I got home I also discovered one of my burgers was also made incorrectly. A simple reading the order back to me at the window or perhaps checking the order before handing it out would have alleviated most of the things that went wrong with my visit. Pure laziness.

I usually have a love/hate relationship with Sonics in general but maybe that’s because I had never been to the Blue Springs location before! I needed a snack after some winter clothes shopping. After I pressed the button to order, the perkiest, friendliest guy’s voice took my order. After waiting about 5 minutes, the cutest kid came rolling over to me in roller skates, almost tripping as he tied to stop at my car. From 2 – 4PM you can get a Route 44 drink for only $ 1.20. Love it!

We love Sonic, but we will drive to the store on 7 Highway from now on! When we get our food it’s what you would expect, but this location is horrible with service. EXAMPLE: We sat at the drive through window waiting for our 5 Sonic Blasts for over fifteen minutes! The employee at the window took our money and then closed the window never to be heard from again! Four different cars behind us were given their food and the afore-mentioned gentleman walked their items out to them. I knocked on the window and waved at him several times to get his attention and ask if I should pull forward out of the line but was completely ignored. After fifteen minutes he opens the window and says… no kidding…“It’s going to be a while on your Blasts.” I asked for our money back and went to Custards Last Stand which was delicious.
