We’ve been to other Big Biscuits before so are familiar with their food. We stopped at this location Thurs AM for breakfast and it was fabulous! I had the Sticky Biscuit with raisins, cranberries, & nuts. Out of this world! Husband ordered basted eggs with ham and the eggs were done perfectly! So many times, he gets something resembling sunnyside up but these were exactly right! I look forward to our next trip to Blue Springs because we will definitely be back for more Sticky Biscuits! Service was great too.

This place is a little pricey, but with that said… You get what you pay for. I’ve been going to this location for about the last 5 – 6 years and I’ve never had a bad server or bad food. It’s very well managed. I would recommend a meal but then I’d be listing half the menu lol. I would give 5 stars if the price was a little lower.

This was my third time at big biscuit. I should have stopped at two. Every time I have been here the wait staff is surly and unfriendly and act like it is an inconvenience to take a basic order. Staff doesn’t come back to check on how customers or doing, if food is correct or if more water or drinks are needed. Every time I have been here one of the orders in my groups is wrong. From wrong eggs or undercooked eggs to grilled cheese with cheese unmelted. Staff then act more surly when asked to correct the order. Tickets have been wrong every time and in need of correction. Go somewhere else to spend you money or cook at home.

We ate here for breakfast while we were on the road traveling across the country. The place is named well because their biscuits were wonderful. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was fast and friendly and we left full and satisfied.

Loaded sticky biscuit was fantastic as usual! Ordered the waffle combo which came with two eggs any style and choice of bacon or sausage. I got scrambled which looks like 3 – 4 eggs and not two! The bacon was extra crispy like I wanted. Everything from service, speed of order was top notch !!!

My go to place for breakfast in blue springs, can get slow mornings on weekends, but that’s expected, great potatoes and biscuits and gravy. Pancakes aren’t bad either. I go here often, good food and service.

Surprisingly the coffee is better than Starbucks, and I got a killer good vegan dish, Yes, that’s right a good vegan breakfast and high quality coffee. Don’t count this place out as strictly greasy spoon diner fair.(of course you can get that as well)

busy on weekends but the wait not long, if only 2 of you dining you can sit at the bar no waiting. Food is good. Wide variety on the menu they serve breakfast and lunch. You have to try the fluffy biscuit and sausage filled gravy. Short stack(2 opened faced) enough for 2 people to share. Home fries real flavorful. Ask for crispy. The waffles are good. Wide variety of pancakes, and healthy menu too if your watching your diet. . skip Denny’s, I hop and Bob Evans try this place you’ll LOVEIT!

Wow! Super fast service! Egg-cellent service! The food came out fresh and fast and tasted awesome! My son had the cinnamon roll pancake– it was as big as the plate and tasted great! I had the biscuits and gravy with 2 over easy eggs; it was very good. Everything from the service to the drinks to the food was spot on! I’m not a breakfast person, but I enjoyed every bite! We will be back!

My favorite Breakfast place in Blue Springs. I’m a huge fan of their biscuits and gravy, as well as their fried potatoes. My friends daughters are obsessed with cinnamon roll pancakes! More expensive than a Denny’s, but you get what you pay for. Much higher quality food.

My family and I love this restaurant. The cinnamon roll pancakes are amazing and you can’t beat their B&Gs. There are servers who make the experience super enjoyable with casual chats, quick beverage refills, and an eagerness to bring anything you need.

The food itself was alright. I got the Midwest Missouri Scramble(if I remember correctly), and it was average in taste. However, my father ordered an omelet, and his eggs were very rubbery in texture. Furthermore, the service was incredibly slow! Even when we were helped, our server did not go through the basics(refills, asking if we needed anything, etc.). We had to get their attention several times. I’m not sure we’ll go back.

Ah, the meal before a huge road trip. Knowing my travel companions and myself were facing a long ride all the way to Columbus Ohio, we loaded up on some high carb foods. For the first time probably in my adult life, I went to a breakfast place and had no meat portions. Went with the Jim’s Platter of half serving of biscuits and gravy(half is huge, can’t imagine a full), 2 eggs scrambled, and hash browns. The coffee was average diner coffee, nothing I would brew at home or buy specifically somewhere, but it hit the spot for the early morning and the grub. Potatoes were alright after being covered in hot sauce. Eggs were eggs, hard to mess up scrambled eggs but it can be done. The biscuits were the highlight, odd seeing the name ya know? What were fluffy and flaky at one time were smother and covered in delicious country gravy. Probably the best biscuits and gravy I’ve had north of the Mason-Dixon Line easily. I won’t drive out of my way to this joint, I haven’t lived in East Jax for quite a while and there are better breakfast places out there. But if someone were to invite me while I was in the area, I would never turn it down.

MMMM I love the Big Biscuit when Im in the mood for classic American food this is where I go. Huge portions, if your in the mood for lite healthy its not the stop for you, the food is heavy but comforting and good. Everyone has always been polite to us and the service is fairly fast. I usually grab a scrambler or the chicken fried steak and the wife gets the open faced beef sandwich, definitely good eats! They do heavy classic American comfort food well!

this place. How can you go wrong with breakfast?! You would be very surprised… I got a normal breakfast… sausage, eggs, biscuits with gravy, and hashbrowns. Now I request for gravy on the side and yet they poured gravy over everything. I like gravy but I don’t like TONS of gravy. I complained to the waitress about it and she took it back but then the manager said sorry we can’t do anything about it and told me to deal with it. I was like WTH so I said eff it I tried it and it was trash. Eggs tasted like the artificial eggs you make with powder. Sausages were rubber ugh… this is on my BOOOOURRRRNS list
