Really wish this place hadn’t closed. Such great coffee, and they even had a «pay it forward» thing going on in the drive-​thru for awhile.

The Steamin’ Bean is now CLOSED
but they have re opened in Grain Valley with a different owner but the same manager as The Steamin’ Bean. Their new name is The Coffee Shack.
I spent an entire day of mourning when The Steamin’ Bean shut down because they had the BEST iced mango mocha ever! I would drink 32 ounces of that amazing concoction and still want more.
I was hesitant about their new location because some facebook research told me they didn’t have all the same syrup flavors.
Let me take a moment to say:
YAY!!!
The Coffee Shack is absolutely adorable with incredibly nice baristas. They may not have all the same syrups as before, but they are still fantastic! They serve Roasterie brewed coffee which you can try free samples of at the counter!
Their pastry case is the best! It’s filled with home made pies, cookies, cupcakes, and scones. They even have home made Red Velvet cake Biscotti that is absolutely to die for.
There is also a basket full of Harney and Sons tea!
Thank you Coffee Shack for being the best and nicest coffee shop in Kansas City!

Best Caramel Macchiato in the metro hands DOWN.
Gave this place a shot on the recommendation of a co-​worker. They are also willing to give you a discount for bringing your own mug in (coffee shops seem to be getting away from this lately) Employees are very welcoming and take good pride in their work. I’m looking forward to trying their other brews.
