Great food and service. Nice mix of items on the menu and all fresh very very good place for Mexican.

We were looking for some quality Mexican food at a good price, and to be fair that’s what we got. The service was a bit weird here. At first our service was great– could tell he was enthusiastic about his job but sometimes struggled with English. No worries, he seemed great. However, after having our plates cleared we waited for another 20 – 30 minutes for the check, until finally another server noticed the irritated look on our faces. Our server had been visible but just never came over! Other than that we had a good time, nothing above normal but I would go back, assuming I didn’t have another service issue.

We were visiting the area and wanted to have some decent Mexican food and lucky Us, we stumbled upon this place. The queso dip was excellent as was the Chimi del Mar. The salsa was good enough to DRINK! Our waiter Fernando was very nice as well.

Checked on our table, was very polite, and always made sure we had everything we needed. The Service and the food was amazing! A bonus: The bathrooms are very clean!

Our waiter was so kind and took great care of us. We don’t know his name, but he was from Bolivia. He made us guacamole at our table and it was the best guacamole we’ve ever had. Shrimp tacos are also excellent! Served with a sauce on the side that is similar to the yum yum sauce at hibachi restaurants. So good! Would definitely return.

Our server Juliette was awesome. My husband loved the Suprema Fajitas. The tableside guacamole was good as well. We’re from Ohio and the service in «top notch» restaurants was horrible on the island. We recommend Mi Tierra to those who expect good service for their money.

I could drink their fresh salsa with extra cilantro morning, noon and night. And I could write poetry about their fresh guacamole with chunks of garnish.
I have tried almost everything from their menu. Their chicken tortilla soup makes my mouth water as I type this sentence. Their gooey cheese enchiladas, fully loaded chimichangas and freshly grilled fajitas will make you believe in Santa Claus.
I know this sounds like a hyperbolic tale spun by friends of the owners. Rest assured, this is an honest observation, and the only review you really need to read about Mi Tierras.

Best dining experience in a very long time could go on and on atmosphere service food everything couldn’t have been better. Told my wife that night this will be our new spot !!!

ok. my previous review posted here was for a different place with a similar name (in okatie) that I posted here by mistake because I was new in town. these guys don’t have pizza. I think the food here is better. the chips are light, crispy and flavor full. the salsa is amongst the best I have had. the chille relleno was A+, the cheese enchilada was grade A and the beef taco was A; rice and beans were both A-​.
my only gripe is the serving needs MORE rice and beans.

Discovered the Chimi Del Mar two weeks ago! Had it again today, large enough to share! Best Mexican seafood dish I’ve ever had!

Good food, ok priced but every time I go it’s for a quick taco at the bar but the bartender (American female) is slightly unpleasant. Make remarks like «gosh you drink a lot of water» and «boy you ate those tacos fast». It’s happened to me a few times already and each time she is just generally unpleasant. She also never knows much about the bar, no idea what beers and spirits they carry.

Very authentic! Very good! I recommend the tampiqueña platter. Service needs a little work.

The fajitas are the best in Bluffton or Hilton Head and I’ve tried them all. The service is so so and I live closer to other Mexican places but Mi Tierra is worth a drive.

Excellent food and service. Made to order guacamole which is always fantastic. Cadillac margaritas with a shot of smooth tequila. Grande Combo with chicken taco, juicy shredded white meat and home made shell, shredded beef burrito so tender, and cheese enchilada. Reasonable prices. Families welcome. Diverse clientele. Super place.

The food was amazing. The service here was great. Guacamole is made fresh right in front of your eyes to your liking. Probably one of the best Mexican food places I’ve ever been to. Me and the wife are making this our go to Mexican food place. And we will definitely be telling all the family and friends about it.

I always get carne asada fajitas and they are very good. My hubby always gets the pork carnitas plate and he loves it. We also get the large table side guacamole and it’s awesome! We have been coming here for 3 years and the service has always been good. We drive from Beaufort SC just to eat here. It is the best Mexican food in the area.

I have eaten here a lot and the food is always good. However, the last five or six times I have been at Mi Tierra, the server has not brought me all of my change when I paid my check. I am a generous tipper and I don’t understand why this is apparently their practice. (Eating alone for lunch so no gratuity included on check). Food is good as long as you don’t mind being ripped off by the servers.

We loved this location. Order the fajitas and a jalapeño margarita — it’s off menu but ahhhmazing! Our kids love it too. Great family atmosphere but I’ve seen singles, older folks, all kinds having a great meal here. Also get the table service guacamole. Love it!

Excellent staff, amazingly fresh food. We frequent this place at least once a week. Don’t pass this up!
The fajitas are crazy good, I often get the carne asada.
