Small but fresh and tasty tacos. Margaritas big, expensive and tasteless. Don’t count on the chips to fill you up as you only get a very few. Too bad, it’s a cute restaurant and the staff is pleasant. Once was enough.

Love this place! Every time I have gone, service has always been friendly and accommodating. Tacos were great and they have happy hour specials during the week. I enjoy the laid-back beach vibe! Perfect for after work –especially on a nice day!

I really wanted to love this place, but it was just ok. I agree with other reviewers that the layout is just odd. We went one day and sat outside, but they had shades down so we didn’t get to warm up in the sun like we had hoped.. . kind of the point of going there. The food was fine but I ordered the Jalapeño margarita and was really watery, lacked much flavor and in general was very disappointing. Maybe it was that particular bartender but I only drank it because we were paying for it. I’d give it another chance.. . but not my favorite mexican place.

Good food and Margaritas but overpriced. Nice open air, local bar and eatery with unique tacos and Mexican food. We tried the original and pomegranate on the rocks which were both tasty. Chips and guacamole were good but not huge. The ahi tuna and Mahi Mahi tacos were fresh and had excellent slaw. I had smoky beef brisket and shredded chicken. The Mexican corn was sweet, tender, cheesy and amazing. Bill with 2 margaritas each topped $ 70. Pricy. So, good for the atmosphere but I’d go to La Huasteca for authentic Mexican food on a budget.

So expensive! 6.43 with tax for a single chicken taco and like 9 chips. Cute, and good service, but add a little more to the plate maybe, or lower the price!

Good food. Good service. Due to the open concept there was a few flies. Casual and fun with a few friends.

Stopped in today and ordered the chicken and tuna tacos. The chicken one was so good, I ordered a second one. The tuna was a little off, but I didn’t pay too much mind because I wanted to save room for another amazing chicken taco. I hate when Unilocalers in reviews use the word«fishy» to describe fish, but it WAS fishy. I wish I could have a better adjective to describe it. Food came out fast. The ambiance is pretty cool. They have a great selection of specialty margaritas too.

Feels like an awesome Mexican cantina: colorful and cozy. Simple but quality food offerings.

Excellent. Street corn is amazing. I had a pulled chicken taco and my husband had the Mahi Mahi taco. Both were excellent.

Pretty good. Heard the Conch Fritters were superior so came to try them. First time I have had these that were too loaded with Jalapeño peppers. Far too hot to enjoy sadly. Drinks were good though. Will try something else next time but will ask what’s in it first.

Strange layout to start, sat outside and with in 5 minutes we had our drink order in. Got our drinks and put in our food order, two mahi mahi tacos. Our drinks were margaritas, my wife got the original margarita and I had the cucumber, jalapeño margarita which was outstanding the original I did not care for. They use Patron Tequila a plus. Know the wait was on, slow slow service and margaritas at 9 bucks a pop I thought was very expensive I was nursing mine. I read the review about the fish coming from Sysco and when the taco’s came we enjoyed them, you get about three chips with your order. There is Bluffton Oyster Factory right down the street which sells fresh fish??? Don’t forget I’m a local. Then the wait for the check was agonizing. Overall pricey and this place is not on the coast as someone mentioned in a review.

Must do. Go for the seafood quesadilla. Best I have ever eaten. People are nice and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. Go for it.

First time here, soft opening. Freaking awesome! You come to expect a lot of hiccups from a new place, but none here! Great black cherry margarita, awesome tacos(much bigger than expected), and the corn is very good! Very cool setting and atmosphere. GREAT addition to the Bluffton area!

Bad service. Limited menu. Odd layout – place is mostly either sit at the bar or sit outside. Good luck in the winter. Anyone who sells Ahi tuna in SC should know it comes from Sysco, frozen in plastic wrap, so I would never order it anyway. Seemed short staffed. Not impressed at all. Server came from the kitchen to announce to the bartender(and everyone else) that they were out(86’d) tuna. Seems like they are trying to rest on their laurels of the other restaurant they own. :-(

We tried several tacos, each had their own unique twist. Some were awesome, like the spicy shrimp, and others were not so good, like the ahi tuna(very bland flavor and the ingredients offered nothing but mushy texture). Their prices were unreasonable for what you get– they should at least give more than a few chips with the taco. Overall, very unimpressive. I’ve heard their margaritas are good so maybe I’d go back and stick to the drinks.

Good meal, although wait staff volunteered that all ingredients(eg, Mahi Mahi) are from Sysco — kind of surprising for a small-town taco shop on the coast

.01 stars. Full review coming by tomorrow after contacting the legislator from SC who owns this business. Worst, and most rude service of my entire life, and, horrible food I will fill you in within 24 hours.

Traveling through Bluffton on our way back to Savannah and decided to stop at the Promenade for a bite to eat. Not only was this place in the perfect location, it was also clean, delicious, and had a great ambience. The service was also fantastic. We were immediately greeted as we walked through the door and ordered some margaritas. Now, these margaritas were the best I’ve ever had. I got a pomegranate margarita. My boyfriend got a classic. Food followed the drinks. I got the spicy shrimp tacos… which were to DIE for. So delicious, I wanted more! My boyfriend got the mahi tuna tacos and also loved them! I highly recommend this place. I want to go back.
