I had 12 people with me here for a wedding rehearsal dinner down the street. The Locals had me thrown out by the police for sitting on their bar stool. Do not come here. There were plenty of seats around and this local asked me to get out of her chair because she went to dance and she wanted it back… I told her to grab a seat next to me and she found the manager and had me thrown out… She was crazy and there was nothing the cop could do about it but ask me to leave. I have never been thrown out of a bar in my life and I was just sitting in a chair…

Jumped the shark! This was our absolute favorite spot for great food and great service for a long time. Suddenly over the last few visits things did not seem same. They raised their drink prices and lowered the volume of alcohol in their drinks. A 1.5 oz pour is $ 10.50 forTitos vodka. The brisket platter usually a generous portion was so skimpy it looked like someone’s leftovers. The potatoes planks were not cooked well enough so we sent them back and they deep fried them again and they were super greasy. We eventually flagged down the manager who agreed about the brisket but thought there was more meat under the veggies. Not! He did not see an issue with the fries or the drinks. We’re very disappointed that such a great spot just doesn’t seem to care anymore so not likely we will be back. LKR

I’ve been here a few times but never wrote a review, so here goes nothing! The Dubliner is located on the West end of Mizner Park and is right next to Kapow Noodle Bar. This place is an Irish Pub bar that has excellent food and drink. We came here after one of Patty W’s recent UYE’s at the Escape Room in boca. As you could imagine on a Friday night, this place was pretty busy, but they still had our reservation and a spot at a table waiting for us — at 8pm! It was really cool they did that! Ok, now usually I take pictures of my food before I eat it when I want to post a review(yes, I am one of those people), but I am not going to lie — I was so hungry that I forgot(or my wife got a photo). The menu has your typical Irish fare, anything from fish and chips to a new york strip steak, then back around to their famously oozingly good mac and cheese. I usually an not a fish person — I’d rather have a steak or chicken dish, but when I started off with the fish sliders, I had no idea they would be THATGOOD! WOW! If you could imagine three small beer battered filets on a tartar sauce laden bun with lettuce– YUM! Seriously, next time I go here, I am going to have the fish and chips dinner and I am not even a seafood person. Afterwards, I had the bangers and mash for dinner, which were sausages, mashed potatoes and red cabbage. That was really good too, my plate was literally licked clean at the end. Now for the good part — the drinks! This place has some of your local craft brews available from the Funky Buddha — not much different from any other place, but I am always a fan of the Floridian, and they have a full bar, but I cant think of the drink specials offhand right now. Hands down, this place is awesome. Our server was really helpful on a busy night and it’s incredible what that small little kitchen in the corner can serve. Great food, great drinks and live music? Can’t go wrong with coming here!

Great beer selection. Great staff. Great atmosphere and décor. Music level just right so you can actually talk to the person next to you without an issue. The bartender saw that I had stopped drinking and kept filling me up(without even being prompted to) with water. Each time my glass got close to empty, she’d fill it up again without being asked. Thank you! That is a sign of greatness right there! I love that! The food menu looked great and wished I weren’t so full because their burgers looked amazing!

I wrote pretty much the same review for Kapow — the sister restaurant opposite this one … Oh Man!!! I gotta tell you — when I find awesome food and service — I want to shout it from the roof tops…(most of you wont hear me — so I will shout it from Unilocal!!!) and i will say — I am a very very fussy diner! Kapow and The Dubliner — 2 restaurants literally next door to each other, separated by a little open air courtyard. Co owned by the same people. Doug(Kapow) and Sean(Dubliner) are the general managers and are so so nice. Lisa behind the bar is the bomb!!! Servers are all so lovely… Chef Dave … such an awesome guy! Can you tell I eat here a lot ! The food — OMG — talk about AMAZING!!! The mussels in coconut green curry are the bestestest most outstanding I have ever tasted. The honey baked brie — OMG — sooooooooo good — the cheese board– oh man, the curried beef soup — amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing… wait … The happy hour menu from 4−7pm — holy balaoney– i think i have had almost all the happy hour menu — huge servings and only $ 7 a plate! The mussels are my fav — the shepherds pie — no words, the bottomless blacj velvets and mimosas …Its like winning the lottery! Ooooh and the bangers and masg — you have to try it ! Was I happy with the food … re read above! :) Add to list Edit

Sat at the bar for whiskey Wednesday($ 5 and up whiskeys) and some bangers with mash after a long double in Mizner park. Lisa and Jamie kill it as always behind the bar slingin whiskey and beers around the shoe. Live music here 5⁄7 days a week, then karaōke Monday’s where you can see some real talent and some real characters. Trivia night on Tuesdays is always a blast. Props also to the guy working the grill/sauté/flat top/salamander. This guys does it all… There are 7 guys that work the line at my restaurant and I watched this guy slay it by himself. Cheers Dubliner! Looking forward to 9 year anniversary on the 30th!

This place feels like home. I travel about 60%-75% of the year and everytime I come home, this is this first restaurant I head to. Sean, the guy in charge is always walking around with a smile, greeting the children, welcoming the dogs, and making sure you are happy. Delicious food from some very talented chef’s. The bar staff and wait staff are always accommodating, friendly, and ready to help. This place is always hosting charity events as well and giving back to the community! I will go back again and again! Love this place.

After spending a couple of hours at the Boca Museum of Art I needed some lunch. After walking around the area of the museum to see what was available to eat I decided to drop in to the Dubliner. I’m glad I did. I saw the corned beef and cabbage sandwich on the menu, ordered a Guinness at the bar and waited for the sandwich. The corned beef was as good as I get at my local kosher deli in NYC. The rye bread while not NYC rye was thick cut which was its saving grace. I had never thought of putting the cabbage in the sandwich but it was surprisingly good. The sandwich came with really thick cut fries that were cooked to crunchy perfection and topped with just the right amount of sea salt. A very righteous French fry, some of the best I’ve had. If yer in the area and looking for a beer and some food check out the Dubliner you’ll be glad ya did.

Beyond Irish pub quality of food. Stopped in for some drinks and appetizers. Look of a pub with dark wood but spacious and clean. One issue is that there is only one bathroom stall for each gender. They do direct you to another restroom located elsewhere. There is a courtyard shared with another restaurant. We ordered the Smoked Salmon Dip, Brussel Sprouts Hash, and Brie. It was all good. The dip was a small hill of perfectly smoked chunky salmon presented on a chopping board with toast, cucumber, and tomatoes. The brussels were tasty but was not we were expecting. We thought the sprouts would be finely chopped and savory. Not the case but still flavorful absorbing all the flavors of the dish. The brie was was served with the best loaf of bread with strawberry compote and apples. This dish is a must for brie lovers. Diverse beer selections. Our server was friendly and made great recommendations. As it gets later a band plays and tables are moved to make way for gathering and dancing. Would love to return to to try all the other dishes and soak in the lively atmosphere.

Enjoy the Dubliner for their happy hour. $ 7 appetizers including mussels, $ 7 well brand cocktails and drafts. Have had their coconut curry mussels(pretty good), their fondue(ok), corned beef and prime rib sliders(both good). A great deal in Mizner park — love to sit outside. Manager and servers all very friendly too

With live music and a great crowd this is a fun place to have drinks with friends or make friends. The bar is usually full but easy to get to. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Although our group didnt order food… it had an awesome looking exposed pizza station and good options on the menu. Check them out!

Came here for a few drinks pre-movie at ipic and it wasn’t the worst bar in the world but it wasn’t the best either. Came on a Thursday night around 9 in early July and there were a few people in here, but it for sure wasn’t packed. Grabbed some seats at the bar and immediately the bartender walked away rather than saying hi or «I’ll be right over». This kind of rubbed me the wrong way since you’re in the service industry and working for tips. When she finally came over a good 3 – 4 minutes later it seemed like it was an annoyance that I was asking for a wine list. There was live music here the night we came, but they did not seem very enthusiastic or very good to be honest. They were half-assing everything and nobody seemed to care or want to dance much. The singer was kind of atrocious but I’m not judging the bar based on the crappy band they hired for the night. Then again, they did hire them. When it came time to pay the tab(we had been sitting at the bar for a total of an hour) it took longer than expected to run the card and get out of there. It was actually pretty expensive for 2 vodka tonics and 2 glasses of wine-$ 45 with a tip(I’m not one to skimp on service no matter how crappy, I know how hard these guys work and how they tip out most places). The barback was actually the nicest person working that night and swapped out napkins for me more than once, and when the check came without a pen had one behind his ear he immediately offered after hearing me say there was no pen. Why a barback had a pen? Don’t know, but I wasn’t even asking, he just offered. Thanks, kid. I would come here again on another night. I wasn’t in the hottest mood that night to begin with and maybe that soured my experience, so maybe it would put a rose filter over my eyes next time around.

I’ve been here a handful of times now, so I am ready to do this review. I have been putting it off because sometimes the food is very good and sometimes it’s not. The same applies to the service. I was hoping to see some consistency in my recent visits, but sadly I have not. The location is great. Situated right across from Kapow it makes it easy to go back and forth between the two. Both restaurants have outdoor seating right next to eachother in the courtyard. Coming from parking garage«A», as you get out of the elevator and go down the steps and enter the courtyard you will see Kapow directly to the right and Dubliner directly to the left. Irish or Asian? I say try both restaurants. After all they have the same ownership team. I love the Chicken Drums($ 10). They are prepared with a very flavorful Guinness Honey Glaze. I also would recommend the Irish Sliders($ 10). These little sandwiches are stuffed with corned beef, cabbage, onions and a nice sweetish mustard. You really can’t go wrong with any of the sliders or the wings. One thing I would like to try is the Shepherd’s Pie($ 16.50). It looks very good. However it is loaded with carbs, so for that reason I will not be ordering it anytime soon. But it really looks delicious. Last week I tried a few bites of Diane’s Irish Fondue($ 13.50). She ordered it during happy hour so it was reduced to $ 7.00. The cheddar and gruyère cheese was tasty and served piping hot. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 4−7pm. Almost all of the appetizers are $ 7.00 on the Happy Hour menu. Great value. I didn’t care for the Prince Edward Mussels($ 14). The mussels are cooked in your choice of three sauces. I had mine prepared in the Traditional sauce. The menu description claims this sauce has tomatoes, garlic and leeks with a touch of cream. I was disappointed because my sauce was flavorless. It really had no flavor at all. Normally the sound level is average. Last week we had the unfortunate experience of being in the restaurant while a concert was going on in Mizner Park. We had a small table in the back of the restaurant and we couldn’t hear a thing. I was completely aggravated. I was looking forward to catching up with my friends over a nice dinner. Conversation was limited because it was so loud. Had we known this we would have had dinner somewhere else. I do not love this restaurant but I don’t dislike it either. I wouldn’t go out of my way to return, however if I was with someone who really wanted to go, then I would go along with them.

Stopped on for Irish coffee after dinner. Not crowded to the point of uncomfortableness but the place was pretty full .but not jammed for a saturday night which was surprising. Most people sat outside but we got a spot at a table and quickly ordered 2 irish coffees… i love their irish coffee, The crowd was entertained by a great reggae band and that was reallt good. we finished our coffee and were on our way. i will come back again and again for their irish coffee when im in mizner!!.

This is a fabulous restaurant with incredibly delicious appetizers, entrees and ice cold beer. I had a wonderful time with Diane, my wife and another friend. We split roast beef and corned beef sliders and a macaroni and cheese dinner. The manager Shaun was incredibly attentive and helped our server Kris cater to our every need. Some nights they have really great Irish entertainment. I love their happy hour featuring half priced beer. Their staff is terrific. We also had a fantastic chocolate cake and ice cream dessert. We left perfectly satiated. Shaun is a wonderful host who always greets us and follows us through our tremendous meals at Dubliner. Thanks to Shaun we’ll be revisiting this authentic pub often.

Came here for happy hour. Nice area, indoor and outdoor seating. Great happy hour menu and prices!!! My waitress was knowledge about the beer selection and was very friendly. Outdoor seating is nice(on a nice cool day) with a view of the street and to people watch. The indoor seating area does get loud and crowded. I highly recommend the fondue appetizer, its healthy and delicious.

This was my second time dropping in to Dubliner for a drink after an event, and I’m still just as happy. With the help of Nancy M. we were able to get quite a few tables together to fit our large group and the staff made it very easy for us to get separate checks. Lucky for me I had a $ 50 gift certificate and after paying I still had $ 12 on it, which our server politely gave me back with a new balance :) I must say that the Dubliner is a great drinking hole, and if I lived in Boca I would happily frequent it to grab some ciders with friends!
