Super slow service. Employees just standing around while the line was getting longer and longer. Waited a total of around 15 mins from line to pick up. Way to much time for something as simple as a sandwich. It’s not a big deal that I had to wait however I was on a break for lunch and had limited time to eat.

Nothing special, out of all the food places in the mall this one was the least busy. I decided to try their avocado grilled chicken. The service was ok, wasnt the best. My food was ready fairly quickly. The sandwich was toasted on whole wheat bread. The chicken and avocado were good the sandwich was unexpectedly a little spicy but added a good kick. Not really impressed, just filled me up so I could continue shopping.

Food is ok. I guess. bit greasy for me. Their salad is good, small but variety they have but what I want to mention to customers today is I personally treated bad today. Casher girl name Jesse#12 told me I cannot create my own salad which they always did with no problem and keep insisting I was wrong and finally told me she remembers me that she has photographic memory(creepy !!!) and she wouldn’t have let me have it. Don’t you think that’s too much to say to the customers? I was not just offended but totally creeped out. She made big deal out of it and made final remark saying what other employees did granted my wish doesn’t count and she will only does it for this time only. Since this place is the only place I usually eat because I am vegetarian and this is in the mall food court, I usually go straight this place. But it is sad if that’s what food restaurant does, they lose significant numbers of customers. But even without numbers, I think it’s sad how customers are treated wrong. This did not happened to me, not where I came from where customers are treated always right. I was spoiled? I do not think so. People should treat other people how they want to be treated. simple as that

Earl of sandwich was an excellent choice for lunch. The Earls club was delicious. I will definitely be eating here again when I’m next in the mall.

Jesus h christ, do not stop here. Go past it to the mexican place or whatever else. We went here for a break, I thought it’d be nice, I just think oh, it’s fancy super upscale lil Boca mall so everything there has to be good and good quality. The line took forever, everyone who worked there seemed SO confused over the orders, chatting about them for 10 min each, old lady behind me was like Oy Vey what’s takin so lawng! I missed my family all eating, I was taking a break from taking care of my other family members, and it was so fun waiting here forever. Everyone in line before & after me left, and when I finally got the damn thing, they screwed up my one simple sandwich, putting on the one item I asked them not to. Maybe the employees are nuts, I don’t get it. I had to go back, then I got it to go. When I opened it, it was crappy. Chipotle chicken. Hardly anything on it, bread not even great. I did a school report on the Earl of Sandwich, and they should not disrespect his good name like this. This was upsetting. I’m going to… any other sub place on earth from now on.

My half soup half sandwich was a great deal. The soup was just the right amount of tomato and cream. The Reuben was delicious with sauerkraut

Not my favorite but better than other fast food. Not enough on the sandwiches. Tastes a lot like just bread.

Sandwiches and salad are made fresh here. Inexpensive and tasty, pretty good fast food. This location, at Town Center Mall however, is an exception. The staff there are so confused and upset, unfriendly and unpleasant, on top of that, they forget orders and blame customers for it. Worst thing about this location is, typical South Florida mentality, the staffs have no concept of the use of gloves. They keep the same gloves on, to make your sandwiches, go back and forth while at it, open and close stuff, answer phone calls, take money from customers, prepare drink orders, go back making sandwiches. They have no concept of changing gloves! They probably put on gloves as they clock in, and keep them on through the day!

Like Cherine A., I am super confused at the bad reviews for this place. Earl of Sandwich has some of the best sandwiches I’ve seen out of a fast food restaurant. I got the Club with no tomato and I also added avocado. It was super delicious! It was jam-packed full of all the ingredients, especially bacon(which gets extra bonus points from me!), and was warm. The bread was really tasty and, even though I am not normally a fan of thousand island dressing, I really liked what the ‘sandwich sauce’ added to the overall flavor. I was really impressed. There was no line, the employees who worked the counter were friendly, and the food came out fresh and accurate. Prices are also super reasonable($ 5.99 for a sandwich). I am really bummed that there isn’t an Earl of Sandwich in my state(Washington), because I would go there all the time! Yum!

How this place has such bad reviews baffles me. I LOVE Earl of Sandwich. So much so, that before they opened in Town Center, I would make a point to get a sandwich any time I was headed north on the Turnpike(the next closest location is at the Port St. Lucie service plaza). Needless to say, I was thrilled when I saw they opened up in Boca. I always get the Club with light mayo instead of the sauce(which is thousand island dressing… I’ve never liked that stuff). The roasted turkey is sliced thin and piled high, topped with swiss cheese and put through the toaster, which bakes that delicious bread perfectly. This is SO much better than Subway or Quizno’s(and, by the way, Subway closed at the mall… soon to be replaced by an Italian joint). The employees here are generally friendly, although a bit rushed at times, and they don’t skimp on the toppings, which is appreciated(I get annoyed at other places when you get one measly strip of bacon for a sandwich). The tomato soup is pretty good here, but the only thing I didn’t like was their Wisconsin Cheddar soup. Steer clear of it — I love cheddar soup, but this stuff tastes like queso dip.

Decent sandwiches, but overpriced, slow, and not well-managed.

I was coming out of a work meeting and just wanted a small salad for lunch and walked by this place. Even though it is supposedly known for its sandwiches, I ordered the Cobb salad anyway. I have to say, even though this is not a typical place where I would get a salad from, it was actually pretty good. It was a nice variety and mixture of different ingrediants. The service was good too because they were not busy, noticed I was from out of town and we had some brief conversations. Very friendly and smiles all around. For the price($ 6) I would have to say it was worth it.

Unilocal needs to start implementing negative stars. I’d imagine if I were to order one of those sandwich that Domino’s now offers it would taste like the sandwich I had at Earl of Sandwich. This place is pretty much Quizno’s part two. For starters, this location(Town Center Mall) somehow needed 3 spaces to accommodate this hell hole. That means 2 other potential business aka better eating options could have been there. Here is the reality, the meats are low quality. High school kids run the cashier and make the sandwiches and get this, ITSNOTEVENGOOD. I tried it once and that was enough. The Town Center food court has done some nice renovations but by doing so they’ve also added some atrocious food selections to the court. I don’t eat Arbys but I’d much rather an Arbys roast beef than whatever it is Earl serves. The place is trash, through and through. My prediction is by next year it’ll be gone and rightfully so.

I’ve heard this is a decent sandwich chain, but while the bread was yummy, the rest of the sandwich fell flat. I tried the Original 1762, a hot roast beef sandwich with cheddar and horseradish. I’m a huge fan of this combo at other sandwich places, but Earl’s roast beef was just flavorless and disappointing. Even the horseradish didn’t have that kick that you would expect. Again, the bread is pretty good,. it’s just that the sandwich didn’t really come together as a whole. Not completely terrible, but certainly not something I’d crave. With Maoz right next door, I can’t see myself coming back here.
