Macy’s Taste Bar

Food tastes good, but takes them too long to prepare. Workers are friendly but slow. They weren’t wearing gloves. And one of the servers had sniffles. Didn’t notice until after I’d eaten. Ick.

Okay, so this week it has been raining like crazy. I soaked my shoes in the rain. While at work, I wanted to get a pair of socks to wear to keep my feet warm. I decided to head over to Macy’s during my lunch break.
I hurried up the escalator to the third floor, where they sell socks. I made my purchase. Now, I have about 20 minutes to find food and get back to work. As I am hurrying back to the escalator, I notice there is a small food area. Perfect!
There is a good amount of people sitting down and placing orders. While I was waiting for my turn, I was checking out the menu. It seems decent with a few veg options. Since I was in a rush, I just ordered the three cheese panini.
Two employees work at the «taste bar.» One girl is in the back preparing the food, and the other female is at the cash register. The cashier person was so unpleasant and miserable. In my opinion, she could not handle the load or hates life.
She takes my order like she was annoyed being there. I did not make anything complicated by ordering the panini – at least I think. I paid for the food with my Macy’s card too. That was somewhat cool.
Now, I am waiting for my food. The angry cashier woman comes around the corner to clean up a table. She says to another Macy’s employee in the area, «These new employees leave their s**t everywhere. They can’t even clean up their straw wrappers.» Here is the lesson to learn, do not curse and act as if you hate the world around customers. You never know who is a Unilocaler, and going to post this on the internet.
Okay, now 20 minutes later, I am still waiting for my food. They finally start making it because I can see them doing so. There were two other patrons there waiting for their food too. It was not a crazy crowd of orders.
A woman who was waiting for her food too asked about the chips that came with the order. The cashier woman said yeah you have to grab it yourself right there. I am happy that woman asked because I would not know. Finally, my food is handed to me with a, «here.»
The customer service of this employee was horrible. She cursed and complained to the other Macy’s employee. The three cheese panini was really nothing more than a grilled cheese. It took exactly 25 minutes to get this grilled cheese with an unpleasant, «here.»
I have eaten better food at a ballgame #Fail
