Fresh Meal Plan is great. I tried two other meal plans before settling with this one in Boca Raton. I get two meals per day for around $ 130/​week and they do not charge for delivery or the ice packets or bag. Another place charges about $ 100/​week for only one meal per day, another is $ 130/​week for three meals for five days, but the breakfast is very small. They also deliver to two addresses of mine, one in Miami and one in Boca Raton. I love that they only deliver twice per week. Mr Brown who handles their calls was very courteous and efficient. The food is healthy and delicious and saves me so much time and planning! I highly recommend.

This place needs serious improvement. I have been on FreshMealPlan for about a month and a half now and have wanted to cut them off since day one. My husband asked me to give them a longer chance so I did. I, for religious reasons, DO NOT eat turkey. It was noted on the account since day one. Guess who got turkey at least once a week? That’s right.
To add insult to injury, just about every breakfast has some sort of turkey product. I have been very patient with this and have simply removed the turkey from my meals when I receive them in my breakfast but when it is the main course, there is nothing that I can do. Every time that I call I get an apology and a credit to the account for future meals, which they always seem to get wrong as well.
They also have a terribly inconvenient and small window for selecting your meals online which can only be done via a desktop computer or a laptop. It is not mobile friendly or tablet friendly. You have between the hours of 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM on Sundays to select your meals. If you miss this window (which I almost always do) you are automatically put on Chefs choice which is supposed to filter your meals through your preferences (I.E. NO TURKEY!) but chefs choice seems to be just that. If the chef made turkey, you get turkey. No way around it.
I give them kudos for being quick to refund the money but that’s about it.
I DO NOT recommend this place!

Despite issues with delivery at first, I finally received my meals and they’re tasty and healthy. The service is great if you can bypass that.

this is my second run with fresh, I had a few small issues with billing and such first time around but like I said SMALL issues nothing major and was easily fixed.
The food has always been good. I think for the price point and ease it really works well for me. I will say second time around fresh is better than ever! Lots of customization options and dessert and juices are making it a step above the competitions and I am really happy. There are a lot of meal plans out there these days and I still feel fresh offers the best variety and taste.

The pricing is excellent and I have been really happy with the food. The food has been full of variety, tasty, and clean. I expected to experience delivery problems since my home is hard to find but I found no such problems. The only issue I have is that the food is not packed terribly cold so I do get up in the middle of the night to put it in the refrigerator. As far as customer service, they are super helpful and follow up with any issues. I have not found anyone to be remotely rude. I have to say this service has been a huge help because I work long days and I have zero energy to cook. The meals are tasty and include a variety of vegetables. I am doing the paleo option for 90 days and then I switch up.

I have read all the negative reviews regarding their customer service and I must say I have no problems. I decided to cancel after a month because the mix of veggies offered in the paleo plan. It was canceled right then and there. I actually just decided to sign back up today, because with a busy schedule the food is great and I can always make a salad to go with it. I love the fact that they offer 2 meals a day option. There delivery to my office is always on time. The only issue I had was trying to find out if the carb content with Net Carbs or not. The staff should be trained to answer those types of questions better. All in all I would recommend to a friend.

Fresh Meal Plan is AMAZING! First the food… everything is fresh, delicious and portioned perfectly to make my life so much easier. They have Paleo, vegetarian and traditional meal plans that cater to everyones needs. The recent upgrade to their system which allows you to actually pick what meals you want made their already amazing service even better. Second the customer service… Kelly has been nothing but incredible with accommodating me and all my crazy requests. I always got a response from her immediately and nothing I asked for was ever too much.

I have been using fresh meal plan since late November of last year and it has been one of the best decisions I have made to change my health decisions for the better. I have lost over 30 lbs with proper diet and orange theory. Also my cholesterol has dropped substantially. At first I gave it shot for a few weeks and had to get adjusted to the portion control meals. But after ramping up it has been outstanding. First and foremost when you are working with a company service and quality are what a new client is looking for. In regards to service and clients needs they have exceeded my expectations. Also the food is 5 stars. I am on the M-​F lunch and dinner plan and it works great for my tight schedule. If you are looking for a top notch meal plan delivery service this is the place. Thank you again!!!
5 STARS ALL AROUND!!!

I have been enjoying Fresh Meals for two weeks now. The first week, I had trouble eating all the food and ended up with leftovers. The 2^nd week, I figured it out better and enjoyed everything. I have been receiving 3 meals plus 2 snacks per day for 5 days. Their snacks are like meals. I’ve decided to switch to 2 meals and 2 snacks, because I’m not much of a breakfast eater and I’d rather not force myself to eat something, no matter how delicious! Red velvet pancakes, Brulee Waffle, turkey bacon, Bison burgers, it’s all very tasty and fresh. There has not been one single problem with the food, customer service, or anything. They have been very responsive via email, phone, and even Twitter. I highly recommend this program.
I do wish they would add some features to the website, such as reviewing previous orders and maybe even an interactive feature where you put in your goals, current stats, likes and dislikes, and then it makes recommendations for you. That would be nice.

The worst customer support I have ever seen. When I signed up, they entered all my information incorrectly, 4 phone calls and 3 emails later nothing was resolved. When I finally called to cancel because I have had enough… I was told on the phone by a rude customer service (or lack there of) agent that they do not give refunds even if service has not been provided and «billing is non-​negotiable and non-​refundable» and despite not being able to order my food I would be billed anyway. Needless to say there are better options out there

I’m giving one star because that’s the lowest allowed. Before explaining my ‘onion problem’, let me add that they kept deliving my food to my neighbor’s house on Wednesdays (Monday came to my house so they obviously have 2 different delivery people for Mondays/​Wednesdays which is the only 2 delivery days. Also, it’s in the middle of the night so I cannot catch them to tell them). So, of course the empty cooler bags that I leave out for them were not being picked up. Consequently, I was getting warnings about charges that would hit my credit card if I didn’t return the coolers. It didn’t matter how many times I called or emailed about this problem, it continued throughout the duration of my subscription. Now, on to the onion problem. I started the plan choosing 2 meals per day + 2 snacks per day M-​F. For my allergy/​dislike list, I put onions and salmon. That’s all, just those 2 things. Well, I received onions on about ½ of my food and scallions (green onions) in all of the rest. I may have had 1 meal out of the entire 2 weeks without onion/​scallions. Of course I called to fix this problem several times during the first 2 weeks. Each time, I would get someone different on the phone. First time, they insisted that there were no onions on my food (they were looking at a list of ingredients). I explained that I am certain there are onions (I was looking at them) and that all ingredients were not listed on the food package. Second phone call they told me they do not see cooked onions on my dislike list, only raw onions. I told them to please include ALL onions on my dislike list. Third phone call, they saw onions on my dislike list but not scallions. (mind you, at this point, onions AND scallions were still arriving on my food) So, I began a series of emails including a photo of the entire onion family and requested they not send me ANY food with ANY onion family member. That didn’t work. Finally, someone emailed me stating that they could not promise to eliminate scallions. So I cancelled after my 2 week minimum subscription ended. Then I got a phone call from Kelly who seemed quite helpful and promised that things were changing and they could guarantee no onions and I could pick my own food from pictures and see which had scallions on them. She also told me about a dessert plan that was Paleo and delicious but it wasn’t available yet to pick on the website. She offered to take care of it and add it to my order manually on her end. I was encouraged and excited to try the plan again. I reinstated my plan. I asked her to change my credit card on file. (I just got off a cruise and maxed that card out. She took my new credit card number. All seemed good). Well, Monday came, all of my food had onions & scallions on it even when the picture didn’t show it. Those fabulous desserts I was promised, never arrived. Not only that, my snacks never came on Monday so when I called about the onions, they apologized about not sending snacks and would try to get them to me sometime that day. Well, later that day, I got an email saying it’s too late and they will come with Wednesday’s delivery. So Wednesday, I got 6 meals and 10 snacks, all but 4 had scallions throughout. So I cancelled again via email listing all of the reasons why. They had the nerve to try to defend their imcompetence. The week of June 30^th was my last horrible week with this company. Now I just noticed a charge on July 10^th (My maxed out credit card– My bank finally let it go through overextending my card limit). So, I just hung up with «nice» Kelly who doesn’t remember changing my credit card, doesn’t remember ordering desserts and was nasty to me saying «you are no longer a member, what do you want from me?» Very very poor management at this company. It’s a shame because it was a good concept just bad employees.

I started off with only a few meals a week on pickup to see how it would go. There were two issues with billing in the first two weeks. The next couple of weeks were ok. The food was not bad.
I decided to switch to delivery and then things got worse. On the Fridays I was supposed to receive my weekend delivery, I have now been forgotten twice. Again, I was charged for food I did not receive last week. I gave them at least 5 chances to get things right. Unfortunately, I am going to cancel and find a more reliable service.
If you want to avoid billing and customer service issues, I strongly recommend you do not use this service.

The food is really good, healthy, and clean! No preservatives, grass fed, cage free meat/​poultry and wild caught fish. Had problems with customer service in the past, but they’ve gotten WAY better. Sometimes it’s hard to get through the phones, but they’re great about returning calls if you leave a message. The place is attached to a gas station but I’ve been there and it’s not dirty like people say. The gas station isn’t great, but the Fresh part is fine. Not sure why so many complaints. I’ve been with them for a while, and I LOVE them.

If you are even considering this service I suggest you visit them first at the old Nextstore location which had been closed forever and now houses an abandoned building. The food is prepped and kept in old outdoor cabinets where the «chefs» smoke and put the food in trucks next to the dumpsters. That’s why the food and service are terrible. Surprised no one died yet from food poisoning.

Awesome! I hate to cook, and I work hard five days a week. I’m tired when I get home, and don’t feel like thinking about how to shop and make something that’s healthy for me. This was a great answer and stops me from hitting every drive through or hitting speed dial on ordering in food I know is bad for me. I’ve been on every frickin diet and plan around. I didn’t want to keep gaining and losing every time I hit a holiday. I don’t really care about dessert that much, I just wanted something I could depend on and be stable, something that wouldn’t have me going off on binges where I wouldn’t have to start thinking every afternoon about what the heck I was going to do for dinner every night… basically I’m pretty lazy. This solved my problem after so many years. So I’m very happy! Way less money than I was spending on ordering in and being pissed at myself on the scale…

Where to start? If I could give negative stars I would and that would still be too kind. I cancelled weeks ago and am still waiting for a refund and do yourself a favor before signing up, GO TO THE PHYSICAL STORE, ITS INSIDE A GAS STATION AND CLEARLY VIOLATING SOME HEALTH CODES!
A little history, the first week was pretty decent. The food was interesting and while it wasn’t anything to write home about, it was not awful either. Delivery was not a problem. I even got a hold of customer service without much of an issue. The second week though, hah, the food was crappy, it just lacked in every sense but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and kept on. I called and had all my dislikes removed so I would have as much variety as possible. The third week (I paid biweekly so they had just taken out $ 174) was far worse. I ended up canceling that Wednesday and was told I would no longer receive anymore deliveries even though I paid for two weeks. I was foolish enough to think I’d get a refund then. I called a few days later to confirm this only to be told no, you have to take the following weeks delivery. «Ok I get it, guess I’ll stick it out and be done» NOT AT ALL. Sunday night rolls around and a delivery comes but only one (my boyfriend did the plan too). So Monday morning I call and ask where my food is, someone screwed up, surprise surprise. They offered to bring the food to my job since it’s around the corner from them and early enough. Great, so I waited… all day and ate no lunch that day and wasted my break. I was told the driver would still be coming which was the point that I was done. I told them I no longer wanted the food and was not willing to just suck it up. They f’d up, why should I suffer. I asked several times for a refund and finally a woman named Christine (a), who is extremely rude, said she would refund that weeks amount. Never happened, I’ve gone there, gotten the run around and had a hell of a time getting anyone on the phone. In the interim my boyfriend cancelled after receiving grey/​blue/​green chicken. I’ll post a pic. Save yourself the headache and money! Sorry for the length of this

Meals consistently went rotten by the third day. Fridge would stink horribly and I’d end up throwing out a lot of the meals. Not much quality control. Sometimes food would taste great but a lot of the time it was just ok and tasted «old». The sides were repetitious and boring! Customer service bad and just plain apathetic about any of the problems I had. One time the food I had picked up contained fish which had already started to smell rotten on day 1. Avoid this place if you don’t want food poisoning.

I’d say my experience matches what everyone else has said… the food is hit or miss… more miss than hit, though. small portions, and they love using spaghetti squash and sweet potato as a side for EVERYTHING. They could use some better management as well. Havent noticed billing issues, but thats probably because I never look at my bank account.

Fresh is a company that deals in extremes.
The food is actually pretty good. Aside from the occasional WTF meal — some BS salad with not-​enough meat hat they call «dinner» — I like their food and they even allow you to blacklist certain foods and/​or dishes.
Their choices are limited, however, as for each 6-​meal delivery (for two days’ worth of food) their is always one duplicate as they only have 5 total meals to choose from — hence you cannot pick and choose your meals. Fresh’s website also is useless since you can’t do anything there for your account. Everything must be done via call.
So the other extreme with Fresh: their customer service is in need of a serious upgrade; it cost them me as a customer. I will pay extra for a great service — we all do with restaurants and certain companies we patronize. Terrible service overshadows otherwise good product — Fresh is in this zone and doesnt seem to care about that.
First strike: A delivery was missed. I heard nothing from them; I had to call them to find out what the issue was. I did finally speak to someone, who offered me some extra meals to clean things up.
Second strike: Fresh overcharged me by $ 87 one week, and again, I had to call them to find out what the issue was. Had it been some mistake on just my account that had gone overlooked, I would’ve accepted that. But, turns out it was a known glitch. So why am I calling you — shouldn’t you be calling me since you have my money?
UPDATE: My normal charge was $ 155. They mistakenly charged me $ 247 and admitted their mistake. Later that afternoon they charged me the correct amount — $ 155 — but didn’t reverse the first charge. I called them and got their voicemail at 4pm on a Friday.
Third: Calling Fresh’ customer device line is a game of cat and mouse that drove me to cancel service with them. 75% of calls go unanswered and to voicemail, in the middle of the day during the week. Ie, normal business hours. Why? Then, their agents rarely have the answers to what you want to know, especially if you have questions about ingredients of the desserts (still a mystery) or want to know if certain foods are organic (still don’t know). They’ll BS you and get you off the phone. Don’t bother leaving a voicemail, they do not get returned.
A customer service upgrade and a 10% improvement of the food makes Fresh a 5-​star meal delivery company. How much they care, however, is another question.
