Awful experience. The food is good, but it isn’t worth $ 600/month to deal with their miserable customer service team and policies. In our first week, our delivery failed to show up. Fresh’s response was«can you provide video evidence that the food didn’t arrive?»… At this point, I’m never going to be a customer again. The $ 70 bag of food was apparently far more important to them than retaining a customer spending $ 600 a month.

Recently tried this meal service out, but only for a week. I chose the traditional meal plan with 2 meals a day, 5 days a week. It is quite pricey, but cheaper than their competitors. Pros? The food was delicious, just heat it up & enjoy! Cons? Delivery window is from 12am-7am, which means your meals could potentially be sitting out in front of your door for a while, and the little ice packs provided may not really help. I also loved that the macronutrients for each meal are shown on the front(i.e. carbs, proteins, and fats). Unfortunately, the micronutrients aren’t listed, but that might be a little too much to ask for each meal. Personally, it’s important for me to know how much fiber is in my food, especially since I am currently training for a fitness competition. However, I’d totally recommend this company to anyone who can afford it. No meal prepping, huge time saver, and perfectly portioned, healthy meals with lots of variety, so there’s no monotony of eating the same«diet food» all of the time. It’s healthy, but tastes so good that you won’t feel punished or restricted! Definitely worth a try!

Delivered wrong food on a regular basis, when I tried to cancel, they get pushy and rude. When the cancel was finally through, they delivered my last weeks food and seemingly intentionally sent more wrong food with missing items. Food wasn’t that great to start with. Go somewhere else.

WHAT A PIECEOFGARBAGE!!! Gave this company four weeks to get my order right and all four weeks, they managed to get it wrong sending me meals from my allergy/dislike list week in and week out. Don’t waste your money with these guys, there are tons of better meal plan companies in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area!!! Food is okay at best, service is the absolute worst.

I’m vegetarian and for some reason the majority of the vegetarian options have fish as the main component. The cooler containers the meals come in are also pretty flimsy so they don’t stay cold, which is a bad combo. This is never made clear before you sign up for the vegetarian option, and by then it’s too late to cancel the service. If you look at the menu options for other services, it’s all the same exact mass produced meals. Despite their assurances you will get a full ingredient list, it just isn’t the case. This is a bad option for people with restrictive diets or allergy concerns. Poor quality food, small meals, overpriced.

The food has really been delicious. I was tentative about the fish dishes, but they have tasted awesome. I am so happy I did this. It’s taken a lot of the stress out of my life without having to food prep. Having the macros on the labels is awesome. As far as I can check on my scales, it’s accurate as well. Initially I was disappointed with the meals in NYC, but they’ve improved. The fish options are great. The veg options are still pretty limited. I don’t know about the meat options. The service is great. Don’t forget to choose your meals by Wednesday at midnight or you’ll get the chef’s choice meals.’

Signed up this plan last year and to my surprise found Fresh Meal Plan to be very different to Paleo Organic and Paleo Crave. I do not feel Fresh Meal Plan treats their customers well. They will promise you a price in writing(by email or text) to have you commit with them and tell you that it is not a trial price or a temporary price –then raise your price. Happened to another friend of mine as well. When you inquire about the increase in price(that they will not notify you by email or phone call before they occur), they say«we did an internal audit and could not give you that price any longer». Who charges a customer 10−15% more without at least notifying them? Also their food is bland, especially the chicken. Their Mahi Mahi was always super dry as was the yuca. You can also at times taste the vegetable oil. I had originally thought that everyone these days used Olive or Grape oil Certain weeks, the agreed amount of meals wouldn’t arrive. When you email them re: missing 2 or 3 of the weeks meals… silence…When you ask for a credit… more silence… Some of the delivery bags leak water, are disgustingly dirty… some of the plastic tops of the containers not attached… list goes on… Having known several co-workers with the same plan, its is pretty typical to feel that Fresh Meal Plan is just down a really bad job of trying to retain customers or treating them well…

Fresh Meal Plan is great. I tried two other meal plans before settling with this one in Boca Raton. I get two meals per day for around $ 130/week and they do not charge for delivery or the ice packets or bag. Another place charges about $ 100/week for only one meal per day, another is $ 130/week for three meals for five days, but the breakfast is very small. They also deliver to two addresses of mine, one in Miami and one in Boca Raton. I love that they only deliver twice per week. Mr Brown who handles their calls was very courteous and efficient. The food is healthy and delicious and saves me so much time and planning! I highly recommend.

I used Clean Chef and they were great, but unfortunately Fresh meal bought them and it has been a terrible experience. 1) The food is inconsistent at best and not enjoyable to eat. 2) They delivered my food at midnight and by morning it was warm and I didn’t feel it was safe to eat. I raised the issue and they refused to do anything about it. 3) Every time I had to interact with their«customer service» they were rude and unhelpful. 4) They randomly charged my credit card when I had requested my account to be put on hold. When I raised the issue, they refused to reverse the charge. I have to dispute with my credit card company now. Do not use this service.

Was converted from the wonderful Custom Fit Meals in DC when Fresh acquired them. I was a loyal, happy Custom Fit customer for months before the change. I had to manually sign up for Fresh to continue getting meals, Fresh did not help in converting me over, which was poor, but I’ll get over it. Fresh has terrible customer service. Upon my switch to Fresh, I didn’t receive my ordered and paid for meals for 2 consecutive delivery weeks. I was frustrated and emailed customer support 5 times over 3 weeks to get resolution and no one ever responded to me. I called customer service 4 times and was transferred to sales once and not helped 3 times. I am beyond saddened at the difficulty this company put me through to simply try to order their product.

STAYAWAY! Don’t walk — RUN, if you’re currently receiving meals from this company. Half of our meals in each delivery have gone to waste because they were not cold upon delivery. I understand that things happen, and I usually give companies chances to right their wrongs. We have been clients of FMP for a few months. At the price that we are paying, we cannot afford anymore hit-or-miss service. I have repeatedly contacted them regarding their packaging and quality control. It seems like they pack extra ice packs in our bag for one delivery, and they forget to do it the next and I have to call again. When you are driving around making deliveries of food that contains seafood, beef, and chicken, you MUSTMUSTMUST package it and maintain it at the appropriate temperature. Half of our food would be cold(the containers closest to the ice packs), and the other half would arrive room temp. This week, my husband has spent 2 days with a stomach bug that I am 100% sure was caused by his FMP meals. I just called to cancel and they have informed me that I will not be receiving a refund for next week(meals that I have not received yet, nor will be eating). I guess I will be forwarding them a bill for my husband’s doctors visit. Way to go Fresh Meal Plan, you’re poisoning your clients!

If Unilocal had negative zero this place wins it. Ive used this company for 2 months total. The first month was fine, the second month was terrible. They gave my bf Paleo after we requested traditional for the whole week. The food is not as cold as its suppose to be by the time you wake up and get it from the front door and the ice bags are so watery that theres water inside your bag with food and its dripping everywhere. The bags being reused in my opinion are not sanitary and they are reused over and over again to many different customers. I doubt they sanitize these bags. The final straw was when I had a roach nested inside my delivery bag with my food and when I called to complain I had no one to help me. They gave me the run around telling me Irish, Jose or Noël were going to call me back. I called back a day later and they said the system was down. I called back 4 times the next say and not Suzy, not Jose, not Nikki, or a single person could help me resolve the issue. NOT one manager had called me back. Great customer service fresh meal plan! I don’t recommend this place and they don’t care about the cleanliness not to mention roach infested bags that come with your food. The only person that listened to me was Gwen after I explained to her I have been calling for 5 days and speaking to 10 different people. Thank you Gwen. Fresh Meal Plan is a horrible company and they do not stand behind their name. I have posted photos of the roach sleeping in my bag. I suggest a different company for your healthy meal plans. Just found out the customer service rep that helped me has left a review on Unilocal about Fresh Meal Plan and was fired because she helped me resolve my issue. DONOTEATFMP

So far I am on Day 1 and there are too many mistakes that have occurred up to this point. I don’t think I’ll be staying for Week 2. Mistake 1: I was only signed up for 1 instead of 2 accounts as requested the day I joined(both my husband and I wanted to give it a try) Mistake 2: I was billed at a rate different than I was told over the phone. The initial promotion should have been 10% off and $ 10 off(for free delivery) during the promotional period. I’m still waiting for someone to call me back on this. Mistake 3: We only received 1 meal confirmation e-mail(should have been 2 since there were 2 of us). I called to verify that both of us would be receiving meals and was assured on two separate occasions over the phone that everything was set up and ready to go. Mistake 4: Only 1 of our meals arrived. Mistake 5: When I called to see why my husband’s food didn’t arrive they said it was a confusion with the address on the account. This was perplexing as I had confirmed the delivery address both 3 days and 1 day before the delivery was supposed to occur. Mistake 6: I was pitched with the fact that there were multiple dishes to choose from and that I would receive a good variety of steak, fish, chicken, beef, turkey, etc. for my meals. Even if I didn’t select my meals, it would be a variety of the above. What they forgot to mention was that for any protein other than chicken(and 1 turkey dish — at least based on my meal options for next week) I WOULDBECHARGED A PREMIUM! Something really tells me that there is a potential lawsuit here for false advertising. Regarding the food… What I sampled at Orange Theory Fitness(for some reason they are a partner with Fresh Meal Plan) tasted DELICIOUS! It was moist, creamy, and very flavorful. I even got 2 free meals for signing up. What I got in my first delivery was certainly not comparable. Not that it was not edible, but the chicken and yuca was DRY, DRY, DRY! The flavors were OK, but they would have been much better had the food been prepared fresh. I’m hoping the rest of my meals are much more appetizing for the rest of the week. Regarding the Customer Service… Everyone I have spoken with(Sales & Customer Service) has been polite. Either they don’t communicate with each other or there’s a bottleneck somewhere in their system that doesn’t share information. Again, I can’t imagine calling twice to confirm a delivery and then hearing from a rep that they had the wrong address in the system AFTER I CONFIRMEDITTWOOTHERTIMES.

Tasty food, buggy website, spotty customer service, and terrible job communicating their decision to discontinue service in North Carolina less than 6 weeks after they started. They acquired my previous meal-delivery service, Custom Fit Meals, in July 2015. Things were good at first, apart from an inexplicable missed delivery the second week. They refunded the order and provided a re-delivery, but never followed up(as promised) to explain what had gone wrong and how they’d prevent it from happening again. Really liked the food, and being able to pick it up from my gym twice a week. The food options were an improvement over CFM, although the FMP salesperson’s comment about having«more options» didn’t include the fact that approximately half the weekly options are extra-cost upgrades. In August 2015, I got a voicemail and email from FMP saying they were discontinuing service in North Carolina… in only two days. No explanation for why, no offer of an alternative service, or an acknowledgement that this was less than two months after they’d started service in NC. I’d still be a customer if they hadn’t canceled service to my state – again, the food’s great – but their business practices means you’re rolling the dice if something goes wrong. I’m still waiting for a reply explaining what happened.

I have been a Fresh Meal Plan member for two weeks now. My husband and I share a Traditional meal plan and we love it. The main reason for us to join the program is time. Our day is kind of complicated between work, our fitness activities and home duties; so having a healthy meal already prepared after we are done with our work out is perfect. Not only that but the food is great in flavor and is good for you. We had a rocky start with the plan since they missed our very first delivery but the issue was solved right away and we got our food that same day later during the day. We have had no issues after that. You get to pick your meals online. You have a menu for Monday and Tuesday and a complete different menu for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Each menu has around 8 – 10 meals to choose from. The online menu doesn’t have pictures for all meals(which I wish they do) but they all have the ingredients and nutritional facts. I love the fact that I’m eating something different everyday and also some of the meals are plates that I have never had before. It’s great! I’m a petite girl so the portions are perfect for me. But my husband is thinking of switching to their higher protein plan. Our goal is not to lose weight but to keep our current weight and to eat healthy. The traditional plan is perfect for that. Thank you Fresh Meal Plan for delicious, healthy and fresh meals.

I cancelled this crap. Pero let me explain 1. I don’t want this girl to get fired so I won’t say her name but she texts me twice saying I can get 10% off my next month of meals if I renew my service. I was still a client at the time, so I responded stating so and that 10% sounds good regardless. She doesn’t respond and I followed up a couple times. Finally I get her on the phone and she was as nervous as could be and basically told me she can’t give me 10% off but would try. Never heard from her again. 2. If your busy schedule doesn’t allow you to pick your meals in advance, they will send you however many orders of the exact same meal! Unacceptable. 3. I called to cancel and while they were apologetic(as they should be), they put me on hold and come back with the offer of 10% off for the month. You missed your chance on that one a while ago! 4. I’m eating one of the last meals I’ll ever get from them right now and it’s so dry. The chicken has grizzle, the yucca tastes off. I just trashed it — how frustrating.

ehhh Okay, after doing this for 3 weeks — let’s just say this week’s meals are staying in the fridge or well going to the garbage. I even offered them to my co workers for FREE& no one wants them. I’m beyond bored with their options, the spaghetti squash continued to come frozen and the food is now — plain boring. I was super excited the first week but I will NOT, repeat NOT do chose this meal plan again. did I mentioned they sent me the wrong meal last week too? Try it at your own risk, can be hit or miss BUT I’ve ate the same meal like 6 times in a period of 3 weeks. I’m done.

You’d think that Fresh Meal Plan would at least try to deliver healthy food without the risk of chemical contamination from their leaky cold packs. Despite numerous calls to them, my meal containers were continually soaked with whatever chemicals fill the cold packs. Disgusting!

be careful what they tell you. This has to be the worst food service out there right now. When i called to cancel they supposedly would do anything for me to stay, they promised me 10% off and free delivery which at first i thought it was nice and somewhat refreshing. I found out they offer anyone that who tries to leave. I also had $ 1.00 charges on my account would pop up, I’m guessing they stay checking your account, never got those $ 1 dollar charges back and would charge full dollar amount on food. When i had this service THEYTHREWMYFOODATMYDOORSTEP, CRACKINGANDMIXINGALLTHEFOODSTOGETHER! You’ll get a call from two girls who say they are going to do whatever it takes, yet they’ll forget to call you back. Ive been waiting for 2 weeks for my «refund» because of they horrible delivery, i was supposed to get those paleo diet deserts and those never came either. Don’t be fooled the CLEANCHEF has not done anything to change and from what i heard and feel, they are never going to change DELIVERYDOESNOTCAREABOUTYOURFOOD!
