Super fresh, my favorite place for a quick sub. Atmosphere is very laid back. Highly recommended.

I’m not a huge fast-food fan. Of the fast foodies, though, Jersey Mikes at least is fresh and most of their stores are reasonably clean. This is a particularly good franchised store. The sandwiches are generally well prepared and the owner and the manager keep their staff well trained. Not a destination, just a decent meal when you need something to get from here to there.

It’s 7:42pm on a Thursday and the door is locked and the employees are sweeping. The door says open until 9.

Unfortunately I didn’t like this place at all. It’s only my second time eating at a Jersey Mike’s Subs. I had the Baja chicken wrap and it was no bueno! The chicken was pre packaged and straight out of the freezer. I watched them cook it on the grill. I wouldn’t expect more from a fast food sandwich shop, but when I bit into the chicken I had to hold back from spitting it out. It tasted like it sat in the freezer for a very long time. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever have Jersey Mike’s again — not even the ones in California.

I think the subs at Jersey Mikes are just so-so. On my last visit I had a traditional Italian, but without Pepperoni it wasn’t all that tasty. There’s only one type of bland white bread. The hot peppers barely had any heat. Their ice tea machine was broken and they serve Pepsi products, not Coke. I won’t be rushing back to this Jersey Mike’s anytime soon.
I used to be a regular at a Jersey Mike’s in North Carolina. I worked at a video game store that was just across the parking lot. I used to eat there almost every day that I worked. I was a creature of habit back then, I guess. I find something I like and stick with it. This sub shop is located on the corner of Lyons and Glades Rd in the Somerset Shoppes. It has entrances in the front and back. They keep a fairly steady stream of customers during the day from what I can tell. I actually live across the street from the shopping center it sits in and frequently walk by when I happen to be here. The meat is freshly sliced. Bread is fresh. Add crunchy vegetables and some brown mustard to it(or whatever you fancy) to make a delicious sub sandwich. The store is clean and presentable, but I have not checked out their bathrooms. There are several seats inside and a table outside next to the back entrance. The employees are extremely friendly. They even help you out to your vehicle if you need assistance. The service is quick and professional. If you happen to be out shopping, this place definitely hits the spot. Afterwards, if you want something sweet, the Yogurt Zone is pretty much next door. It’s a great way to end a day of shopping or running errands on a hot Florida day.

I have to admit that I eat a lot of subs as they are fast, convenient, tasty, and better than McDonalds. I now prefer Jersey Mikes over Subway as the subs are just better. The turkey is freshly sliced, and the addition of crisp(not soggy) bacon is a huge bonus. The only thing I would change is adding Diet Coke to the menu as they have only Pepsi.
