What’s not to love about an actual sushi bar! Prices aren’t bad either. You have to get the banana desert though!!! DELICIOUS!!!

Interesting idea. Sushi is decent. I’ve had better but I think this is a place you go to for the spinning experience

Boats! That’s the first thing I saw when I walked in, little tiny boats going in a circle with Sushi on them! It was so cool and the quality of the food was really good. I cant even remember how many plates I had but I do remember my strawberry cocktail was super delicious. I’ve been back at least once a week for the past month and the consistency is great. Staff is really nice and if I want to try something new they always recommend something good.

Came here for Happy Hour and sat at the sushi bar. I love the little boats with little plates of sushi going around the bar. Everything I tried was good… and cheap!

One of the better spots in Boca Raton. I’m from Cali and this sushi lives up to the standards. It’s a fun atmosphere with a wide range of good food and drinks. I highly recommend this place to everyone and the happy hour is no joke. I frequently visit this spot, and will continue to enjoy their amazing selection of sushi.

I shouldn’t say this cause I may lose my spot at the bar but this may be the best happy hour in Boca. — The river flows around w/a wide variety of sushi and sashimi all $ 3 each + $ 3 a beer. for about $ 30 you’re fed and feeling good … Kanpai! * Note: They shut the river down at 10PM so the late night happy hour has no $ 3 river sushis:(

The concept of the revolving sushi bar is neat and they’re fun for children and first timers, but if you’re looking for fresh amazing sushi, this is not the best way to eat it. The sushi boats go around on a river around the sushi chefs. They will crank out different rolls and sushi options but if no one takes them, they will just keeping circling around. After a while, if you unknowingly takes an order, to me that’s not considered fresh anymore so I like to order a La carte. I tried their seafood pancake and the portion is rather small. The batter was a bit uncooked to me while the outside is crispy. I think they cooked it in a hurry on high heat so even though the edges were border line burnt, the inside was still mushy and runny. They do honor the Unilocal check in for one small sake though!

AMAZINGSUSHIAT A GREATPRICE! I went around 10pm and it was«happy hour» so ALLTHESUSHISWEREONLY $ 3! I ate so much and it tasted delicious. The waitresses were super nice and the overall atmosphere of the place is great. Will definitely be coming back soon!

The variety of sushi floating around wasn’t extensive enough. I understand not wanting to waste food but it would help to ask the patrons sitting at the bar for suggestions, interact with them. The plates do add up so keep a running total of what you grab. The more appetizing plates are the $ 7 ones. Its best to go after 7 as the happy hour crowd exists and seats at the bar open up. Although happy hour is $ 3 plates but I can’t image getting seats at the bar. There is a special when you check in on Unilocal!Free small saki!!! Ninja Spining changed their name recently. Its in the same location, different name. Parking, if you get lucky you can park in the tiny lot behind the building. There is street parking and also a paid lot.

Ninja Spinning Sushi bar is a sushi restaurant located in downtown Boca Raton, close to Mizner Park(or as I like to call it the Yuppie Mecca). After being in the area every so often, I had a hankering for sushi one night, and this spot hooked me for one particular reason. Happy. Hour. Did you read what I said? They have a sushi HAPPYHOUR. As in you can get a tuna roll, a salmon roll, and a specialty roll for a measly $ 16 after ten o’ clock. But let’s say you’re not a cheap bastard and raise it to twenty. For two people my foodie companion and I were well-fed, and now have made the Ninja Sushi happy hour a biweekly ritual. Oh praise the sushi gods, we are not worthy! *Commence bowing worship ala Waynes World.* Ninja Sushi, it one fell swoop of prices after a certain hour at night, you have made me your bitch, and I couldn’t be happier. Other than the happy hour menu, I rolled through the regular menu to take a look and see the pricing, and I can say that the prices are pleasantly reasonable. For what your paying for, the sushi is fresh, respectable, and tasty. Freshness is utterly important in good sushi, and I think Ninja has a grasp on this. They also serve a plethora of other dishes on the menu such a tempura, noodles, etc. Now, other than the food and the happy hour, the service was mixed on my only two visits. The first time it took too long to bring back my check, but the last time my waiter was on time with everything. But please, you whining, snobby Unilocaler brats, please take this with a grain of salt, because regardless of this one tiny inconsistency, this place deserves your time. So with that, I’ll say with resounding«YES» that Ninja Spinning Sushi is a winner in my book. My only reservation is that no, I have not sat at the bar yet and partake in the conveyor-belt style of sushi, but from my table, it looked like a great experience. Go check this place out.

Been here a few times and have always sat at the sushi bar… Of course! Who wouldn’t enjoy little wooden boats passing by loaded with little plates of just-made sushi, sashimi, seaweed salad, dumplings and more… All just waiting for you to grab! Each plate is color coded so you know price before you grab. Consistently fresh and fun.

Delicious sushi. Fun atmosphere. Cool concept. This was a fun night with friends, and the sushi was great, although I’ve had better before. There were some fun plates, and the price was very reasonable. However, there wasn’t a whole ton of variety. Our server wasn’t terribly attentive, and the hostess seemed rush and was a little rude. It didn’t affect us too much, we had a nice evening with great food. I had one of the lychee cocktails and it was delicious — well balanced, not too sweet, not too alcohol-y. I would suggest coming during happy hour, where every plate rolling out is $ 3. However, it was during this time that there was the least variety. I’d hope that this wasn’t purposeful. I’d come back again.

Quick sushi spot. Conveyor belt style, so you pick the plates off floating boats as you please. Happy hour after 10pm on Saturday night, $ 3 plates. Try the hibachi rice, too, since it’s pretty good. Do Order: Cool sake shot with Uni(sea urchin) is a novelty here that you must go for.

I have been to ninja 4 times at this point. 2 of them I sat at the sushi bar which is a unique and fun experience at this place. And two I have sat at the dining area and was served. As far as the sushi bar concept goes it’s definitely a one of a kind in boca. The items are on little boats floating on a river all around the bar. You pick up the item you want the plate it is sitting on is colored. The colored plates are hanging on the wall telling you how much they are. You do not order from a regular menu just get the boats. While this is cool it’s not my fave way to order and eat sushi. The times I sat I have preferred my meal being able to order specialty rolls. The rolls I have had the ninja roll, green dragon roll, @#$*(yes that’s a name of a roll) and the old man roll. I have also had their chicken satay. All the food was great. Unilocal check in gets you a free small sake. Problem: SERVICE. The woman who served us last night was such a misery. She first was annoyed we checked in and use the sake offer on Unilocal and had to ask management if we could all use it(never an issue before). It was pretty slow, and we couldnt find her. We were constantly needing extra napkins or more drinks and I had to go inside and find her or ask someone else for the items. We wanted another small sake but she said«we don’t sell small sake»… well what about the sake in front of me I got with the Unilocal check in, another one of those? Apparently those aren’t for sale. They only offer larger ones. Anyway the food is good and if you want to sit at the bar you won’t deal with a waitress who hates her life. But you’ll be limited to what the boats have to offer. It’s a catch 22.

Came in for lunch. It wasn’t busy inside, but service was just ok. The spinning sushi bar was not open at this time, so I ordered off of the menu. I ordered the«M%)*(@ F)*#)@ Roll» which had shrimp tempura, asparagus, avocado, and topped with with tuna, tempura flakes, and roe. The sushi was delicious with a generous portion size. This isn’t the best sushi place that I’ve been to, but it’s also not the worst. I’m not sure if I’ll return during the day because it smelled like wet dog. Ninja Sushi is located next to a dog grooming salon and the smell wafted into the restaurant. Not very appetizing.

Good atmosphere. Good service. But… The rice on all of my cut rolls was mushy, never experienced that from all the sushi restaurants I have eaten in around the world The salmon sashimi did not taste crisp, a little slimy. The fried rolls on the boats were flavorful and done nicely. The items placed out on the boats is actually a good selection, did not see one California roll! This is a happy experience as I usually find the revolving sushi places to put the cheapest of items on the rotation. Here they put out fried rolls, small parts of cut rolls, actual sashimi, beef, octopus, filled chili peppers. Good flavor profile, just bad rice. The staff is fast and attentive. The crowd is young and beautiful. Outdoor seating is good and quickly serviced. And when you order hot green tea they bring you a small pot, not just a glass. About 30 minutes before closing, all of the items on the boats go to $ 3 closing special prices. So I might just make it my last call sushi spot!

I went to Spinning Ninja sushi bar for happy hour on Thursday night. All of the sushi plates at the bar were $ 3. It’s so fun that all of the plates are floating on boats in the«lazy river» circling the bar. All of the drinks are 2 for 1 which is a great deal. The drinks are pretty strong. As far as the sushi goes, there was a good selection. They had tuna and salmon sashimi. Lots of rolls with salmon, tuna, spicy tuna, and kani. Besides sushi rolls, they offer some hot items. The hot items included gyoza, spring rolls, chicken, and MYFAVORITE — BANGBANGSHRIMP! Anyone who has been to Bonefish and loves bang bang shrimp will love this item during happy hour. I am so glad my friend knew about this spot and introduced me to it! It is definitely worth checking out during happy hour!

Really like this place because of the moving bar. It’s perfect for people who are unfamiliar with sushi going for the first time, because they can see the dishes before deciding whether or not to get it. The happy hour is great too with $ 3 plates and 2 for 1 drinks between 4:30 and 7:00 pm… I think there’s a late night happy hour as well, but they don’t serve as much food then. Came here a couple times mainly for happy hour. They have a decent assortment of alcohol. Happy hour plates don’t have the most variety, but you can always order from the regular menu if you want something specific. I’m a huge fan of sashimi, but I notice that during happy hour, I haven’t seen much white fish go out… mostly just salmon and tuna. Not much eel on the rotating boats either. The bang bang shrimp was really good. Next time I want to try the chicken skewers and some tempura.
