Just found this new restaurant. What a find! We had Tom Phở soup which was hot and delicious. And a tuna roll and shrimp fried rice which were both excellent. Highly recommend the pan fried dumplings that were out of this world! We will definitely be back!

My favorite place to go for lunch during the week. I love the red curry with veggies. Oh and of course the bubble tea, I’m so happy I finally found a place near me that makes it.

We thought the food was very expensive and mediocre at best. Not a place we would visit again.

We had a party of nine, and we’re a patient and understanding group. It took 15 minutes for our order to be taken, and we waited another 45 minutes for our food to come out. 2 orders were wrong, and we had to repeatedly ask for the correction and basics such as spoons for our ramen. The food was good, but it took the waitress 20 minutes to process our bill. We wine during dinner time but it wasn’t that busy — only 3 other tables in the restaurant. Extremely dissatisfied with the service we received and the time we had to spend at the restaurant. The service really left a sour taste compared to the food.

Amazing, amazing food. I was so happy to come here on a last minute dinner decision. The interior is intimate and great for a dinner date. I had the Pad See Ew and it was delicious! My husband had sushi and Thai fried rice. I DEFINITEY recommend the Thai fried rice with a mild spice to it. I was completely surprised that they have boba. I got Thai iced tea(so good) with boba and my husband got Mango with boba. I think they made the mango juice there although you can’t quote me on that. The reason I say that is because when we were handed the mango boba, we had waited about 15 mins for it and you could tell it was very fresh. So happy that Boca Raton has a decent Thai place. The service was great and the food was very fresh.

NORI is one of my favorite to go place for ramen in the South Florida. They have good consistency and the egg in the ramen is always on point! Their service is good and attentive. Their Thai tea is served in a mason jar mug which add to its uniqueness out of other similar restaurants. Their food takes a bit long to come out, but I didn’t mind it, because if you want good freshly prepared dishes you got to wait. They also have an authentic Thai menu that you can choose from, but beware that it may be too spicy for some people.

How could the Stars have deceived me? My husband and I left with bug bites on our ankles. Come to fine one of the owners sitting outside reading with a big swatter. 60 $ down the drain made it even more unappetizing. I asked for a thai beef salad dressing on the side and the answer was no. It’s 2016– that doesn’t fly. Spicy tuna roll was only spicy because it had a dollop of Siracha. It wasn’t the usual mashed up tuna.

A friend brought me here for lunch about a month ago, and after one visit, this became my FAVORITE Thai place. I’ve since returned, and between the two visits I was able to taste about six different plates… they were all delicious. The sashimi appetizer consisted of nine pieces of the fish selection of the day; on my visit it consisted of three each of salmon, tuna, and white fish. All of them were excellent, and the presentation(takeout, mind you) was top notch. The Green Curry with chicken was delicious; the New York Strip Teriyaki was amazing; and I am still dreaming about the Crispy Pad Thai… if you only try one thing, try this! Unless they have the Torched Salmon Nigiri(it was a daily special)…my absolute favorite… melt in your mouth, flavorful… to die for! The dining room is small and quaint. The service was polite and prompt. I can’t wait to go back to Boca!

After reading all great reviews me and my fiancé decided to try this restaurant. For appetizer tried their Tuna lover which was delicious; it had 2 tuna sushi, 3 sashimi and tuna tartar. Afterwards, I ordered the spicy miso ramen. It was spicy and it was delicious, it had noodles, mushrooms, corn, pork, braised egg and few other ingredients. Overall, the ramen was delicious, however, I think that it should have had a little less sweet corn and noodles, and a little more pork.

After many recommendation from friends, I felt like I needed to give this place a try! It is a bit far from my home but well worth the drive! It’s a cute little space by downtown boca! There is meter parking on the street or you can find a parking space nearby and walk to the restaurant! Have seating inside & outdoor as well. Great little place to go and catch up with some family/friends! I decided to order the spicy miso ramen! OMGSOBOMB! there is a reason why a lot of people recommend it & now I get why! There isn’t a lot of ramen places in S. Fla and this place is definitely one of the top ones! Also order a sushi roll to share with my friend, and the menu offers a variety of entrees! Definitely will have to find time to go back and try out some more things!

After visiting Tokyo and being spoiled by the delicious ramen there, finding a decent ramen place in south Florida has been a struggle. NORI has potential but still falls short in the art of cooking the perfect bowl of ramen. Me and my mom got different ones to try each other’s(tonkatsu and spicy miso). My tonkatsu ramen had very tasty broth. Good flavor, not over salty. There was shredded ginger inside which I didn’t know about and hated. The other veggies including corn and Bok choy were fine. The pork in both mine and my moms had a stomach curling«gamey» taste to it. I can’t describe it but it was disgusting and we couldn’t eat it. The pork in traditional ramen is supposed to be thin and tender. This was thick and tough. The eggs were good. My moms spicy miso broth has a big kick so if you like spicy, it’s great. The service was very slow. The servers weren’t very attentive. We went on a Saturday night at 6:30pm.

I chose this place as the one place I would go while in Boca. I’m glad I did, because I left my credit card at the restaurant and these guys are really good at shipping stuff back to you if you happen to live far away(4 hours in my case). I received my credit card back within days after they verified who I was. They have delicious ramen as well as Thai and Japanese fare. I highly recommend the ramen as the first thing to try when going here, and be sure to add the extras like pork belly. The creamy pork bone broth is my personal favorite, but it depends on what you’re in the mood for. My girlfriend got the pad Thai and she noticed there was a good amount of fish sauce in it, since she is not a seafood person. If you like fish sauce, you will like their Pad Thai. We didn’t get dessert but I would ask about the Thai Coffee molten lava cake. If you like a quiet atmosphere, be sure to go here in the middle of a week day.

Didn’t receive napkins. Salad without the sauce that we had to wait 10 more minutes for. Sushi tasted dry and bad. Got my drink ten minutes after my main dish was done and food was paid. A big bottle of water only came with one glass? Maybe the amount of significant mistakes came from the new waiter(who clearly hasnt been trained). However i have eaten here many times because its opposite of my home, and the review is my final decision of 5 – 10 visits.

Long wait time but satisfying food overall. Who would have thought that Boca Raton is a ghost town on Sunday?! This is my first time down in this region and everything was closed! All the boutiques and restaurants, even during spring break. Weird. Anyway, a group and I came here on a Sunday as soon as they opened at 5. We were the first group in the door and were seated promptly. We had the option to be indoors or out. Outside would have been nice if it wasn’t so humid, so we opted for the comfortable air conditioner instead. The atmosphere was cozy. They had a strange display of electric guitars in the back of the restaurant which contradicted the Asian décor throughout the rest of the place. I was surprised how small the establishment was and how few tables they had. It was good we went here on an off time. Their menu was quite extensive. It was bigger than the average menu and it was covered front and back with options. The had noodles, rice, sushi, ramen, and more! I came here for the ramen since it has been raved about. I began my meal with a small taro bubble tea, which had way too much ice for being so small and $ 4. I wasn’t able to get to all the bubbles there was so much ice in the way! The overall taste was rich with an almost buttery after taste. I was pleased with it. For an appetizer my friend and I each ordered a nori cone. I asked for the bahama which consisted of salmon, conch, scallion and spicy mayo for $ 5.50. I was delectable. The salmon was fresh and the cone was substantial in size. My friend ordered the jackpot which had eel, kani, tamago, avocado, cream cheese, and masago with eel sauce for $ 8. She was overjoyed with her choice. She devoured it in less than a minute. It was overflowing with ingredients it was so big. I would definitely come back here for sushi. For my main dish, I ordered the spicy Thai seafood ramen. I was disappointed in myself for not getting the highly recommended spicy miso ramen, my dish was underwhelming. The broth was a spicy Thai broth, but it wasn’t spicy what-so-ever and I wasn’t fond of the bitter flavor. The seafood wasn’t as high of a quality as I would have expected either. They only gave me two mussels and one was closed to the point I was nervous to eat it. I pried it open, but it didn’t look very appetizing. The shrimp had a funky flavor to them as well. Maybe it was the flavoring from the broth but it wasn’t appealing. I had one small scallop in my bowl that was so bland I wasn’t sure it was even a scallop. I liked the squid they served and they actually gave a decent amount, but the blandness from the rest of the dish didn’t do the squid justice. For $ 20, between the lack of seafood and the off putting flavor, I was very disappointed, especially after reading all of the rave reviews. The noodles were average for ramen. My friend ordered the spicy miso and was happy. Her meat was tender and the broth was fulfilling. She isn’t a fan of eggs so she gave them to me. They were extremely rich in flavor. Maybe it was the flavor from the miso but this simple soft boiled egg had such depth to its flavor. Another member in my group ordered the Thai basil sauce NY strip steak. She was impressed with how unique this dish was. She was expecting a blasé steak, but was greeted with a juicy steak with a flavorful sauce. The service was a let down. There was close to no one when we got there but our meal took way more than an hour. I can understand that they like to make things fresh, if this was the case, but an hour? We became impatient to say the least. Overall, there was some well worth it foods but if you’re looking for ramen, I do not recommend the spicy Thai seafood. The prices were pretty steep, but I’m sure this is common for this area. I feel as though there are many other options in Boca Raton that are probably much better than this place. I would only come here for the spicy miso and sushi.

Had a lovely evening at Nori. The service was prompt and very friendly. The sushi was nice, fresh, and prepared quickly. Appetizers were also very well done. I’m not the most brave sushi fan, so I can’t tell you much about their specialty rolls, but they all sounded interesting and many had hilarious names. I plan on returning for ramen.

Ramen. Ramen. RAAAMEN! The spicy miso is a miracle. The yellow tail and salmon sashimi were good. I’m giving four stars because the gyoza and yakatori, and the negiyaki were not good. wheep whomp

Oh boy. I’ve been to Nori countless times and I keep saying, «I’ll review them some day!» Well, today is finally that day! The two main dishes I enjoy ordering at Nori are the spicy miso ramen(get pork belly!) and green curry with chicken. Both are excellent. I’ve always had great service and I’ve come enough that they know who I am! If you are looking for great Thai and service, you’ve found the place. Generally don’t need a reservation, but like many restaurants during season, it can get busy at night. Highly recommended.

Any place voted #1 Ramen will absolutely get my attention. And since I had just spent a few days in Boca for a work conference, I decided to end my trip w/a final dinner at NORI. My only concern was the wait time based on previous Unilocal reviews which I expressed as soon as we arrived to the restaurant. The staff assured me that this would not be a problem and so I took their word for it and was seated. The restaurant itself had soft glow lighting w/modern white chairs and cool music playing(everything from Beyonce to alternative hits). Our server Jimmy was very friendly and gave us no shortage of smiles — which we loved. He explained the heat level on the Spicy Miso Ramen and let us know they«Americanized» it to suite most tastes. So we agreed that they wouldn’t make it «Thai» hot lol. My husband ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen w/extra pork belly and I went ahead w/a mild Spicy Miso Ramen w/extra egg. I have to say the ramen came out within 15 minutes maybe less and it was presented piping hot and beautifully. Jimmy even brought a side of spicy chili oil in case I wanted to layer on the heat(his idea). We knew after the first sip that this was going to be a taste bud symphony. The charsu pork was the best I’ve had in my life — super smokey yet so tender and moist. I was so happy I went w/the extra egg since they par boiled the egg to keep it slightly runny(MYFAVE). The noodles were the perfect texture, smooth and not grainy. The broth was rich and dense and the spice level was perfect. Just enough heat to elevate all of the flavors. I can now say in full agreement that their Spicy Miso Ramen takes the NUMBERONE spot of all Ramens we’ve tried in South Florida. My husbands ramen came in at number 3(close tie to GoBistro’s Tonkotsu) and he really enjoyed every last sip. Again we were nothing but impressed with the service, attentiveness, and of course the RAMEN! I would make the trip back up to Boca to eat here in a heartbeat.

Hidden in a typical South Florida Thai and Japanese combination restaurant was a surprising find for good ramen in the area. This is the only other place that I can confirm has decent ramen in south Florida. I have tried several«good» restaurants but all fell very short. Nori did deliver a great broth, good noodles and very well prepared over all dish. Soup extras are avalaible for a price but the portions are healthy. Even my daughter(who is a miso soup connoisseur) said she liked it here very much. LOL. The staff was nice, the service was good and the I should be back for more soon.

So I decided to check out this restaurant when I saw it was nominated as one of the top 10 places for Ramen in Palm Beach and Broward counties in a New Times article!!! I started off with the Jackpot Roll which had Eel, avocado, cream cheese was tempora fried! Super crunchy on the outside and deliciously creamy on the inside which went perfect with the Eel sauce served on the plate! Nicole Danna of New Times was right on about this being one of the best Ramen shops in town! The Spicy Miso Ramen was mind blowing And absolutely life-changing!!! Yes it was that damn good! It was just spicy enough to excite you into grabbing that next spoonful! It came with a deliciously tender pork and just to indulge I added an extra side of pork belly which although was absolutely amazing it wasn’t 100% necessary! Just a note next time I’ll bring a bib! Staff was super knowledgeable and extremely friendly and gave great recommendations including the Ramen which coincidentally is what I came there for!
