Love this place! Best Mexican food in Boca. Small restaurant but don’t let that fool you. They are normally always busy. They don’t have a full bar. Just beer and wine. Haven’t had anything that I haven’t loved! You get chips and salsa when you are seated.

I went in today for lunch by myself. I am 9 months pregnant with bad back pain so I sat in a booth. The owner made me move to a small table with chairs that had no back support. I explained that I was pregnant and can’t sit at the small table. She still gave the booth away to a party of 2. I walked out and won’t be returning.

I mistook this place for a small market that sells authentic Mexican cuisine in the same shopping plaza. We decided to at least have a drink. The margarita was okay nothing special and it comes in a small glass cup. We order guacamole, I was not impressed so we decided not to order anything else and try to find the other place we were looking for. I think I may come back to try some of their other meals since they have some good reviews from others.

I’ve been a customer for years. I ordered take out on Tuesday. Two fish salads. I got home and the dressing was spilled all over the bag and one of the salads was missing half of the ingredients. I called as we were eating and they said sorry, kitchen said its correct nothing I can do to help you. I called the manager later and she said she would speak with the kitchen and call me back on Thursday. Never called. I called again today, Friday and the manager called back and said too bad, kitchen said they made it correctly. I said you must be kidding if you think I have nothing better to do than complain about salads. She said I don’t care lady I’m not helping you. I’ve been a customer for years and could not believe how rude and nasty the staff was. I will never eat there again and I’m so disgusted as I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life.

Great place, its very small but comfy. Food varies and depends on what you order. But on average you will get pretty tasty food and good portions.

Had lunch here about a week ago. See prior review for more info on this small place. Chips and salsa are brought to your table as you arrive. They’re happy to bring more when you finish the first round. Side of steak no longer an option. So instead we had three kids split an order of carne asada which was barely enough… without the chips they would have been hungry. I ordered three steak tacos which came wrapped in aluminum foil. Comes with a little side of guac plus rice and beans. Good. Rice still bland even though it has veggies in it, etc. Companion enjoyed the traditional chicken burrito; comes with rice and(vegetarian) beans. Gloria(Manager?/owner?) was also our waitress — always very nice. Food comes out relatively fast.

We randomly chose this place and went in for lunch. I was surprised that our meals arrived so quickly, if you don’t have all day, this is definitely the place to go. The portions were large, everything was SO fresh and perfectly seasoned. It wasn’t too spicy, but it definitely was not bland or flavorless. They serve free nacho chips and salsa while waiting for our meals to arrive. I ordered a pork burrito(I don’t remember the name of it), it was huge and had good quality meat inside. I had ½ of my meal left over, so the price $ 9 was definitely fair. The employees were friendly and attentive, I didn’t even have to ask for refills of water, they just arrived. We really enjoyed our lunch, we’ll definitely be back regularly.

I have been coming to this restaurant for more than 8 years, never had a bad experience, never a bad service, and always had good food. The prices are really good, and the atmosphere is very down to earth. Great spot on my college days after I finished a big exam. Mexican comfort food at its finest.

All I can say about this place is «what a find». Our small group of four stopped in late afternoon on a Saturday and was lucky enough to find a open table, it seemed like every time a customer left a few minutes late another one would enter along with plenty picking up takeout. After placing our orders we were treated to a bowl of red salsa and chips along with our drinks. This is a beer and wine restaurant but they also make margaritas I really don’t fully understand it but I think they use a wine cooler mixer or something the girls thought they were pretty good us guys enjoyed a few ice cold Dos Equis from the bottle served with a short cold glass, after spending a few hours out in the sun they were refreshing as a spring shower. The fresh red salsa was exceptional but doesn’t bring a lot of heat we requested a hotter salsa and was immediately brought this green concoction that is simply amazing it’s got a real kick trying to analysis it my only conclusion is that it’s a blend of ground hot peppers with a vinegar base very different very delicious and tasted great on everything as I stated its a vinegar base so I suggest you taste it on a chip before you add it to your entrée we all loved it but you’ll have to decide for yourself not only did it add a few levels of heat it I thought it really enhanced the flavor of everything I put it on. I definitely recommend you try anything on the menu I did read the very angry review regarding the fish taco so you’ll have to make that call yourself, from everything we tried it’s hard to believe someone would get that upset especially at these prices. Our friends who live here told us they come here often and it’s always been great from our experience today I can’t imagine the quality can vary all that much.

My family is a HUGE fan of the Señor Burrito in Delray — love that place. This place — meh. We ordered take out, and sometimes when conversing in your second language over the phone things can be misheard. That happened with my order. Which wouldn’t have been an issue if my order had been verbally reviewed with me in person. They tried to fix it, but I didn’t want to drive back out there to pick up the correct item while the rest of my family waited with their food getting cold. It just makes for a bad experience when the order taker thinks she knows what you said, even though you have repeated twice.

I never knew taco prince and senior burrito were sister restaurants. .one of my Unilocal friends tipped me off to that. So on my way back from The vet again today I figured I would have some lunch. The tortilla chips were super fresh and the green hot salsa is really spicy and has my tongue burning. Darius is my server I decided to sit at the bar since I was eating alone. I ordered the tacos which are the carne asada ones. The manager was so sweet when my purse fell off the chair she was there to pick it up for me. that’s great service. I really like the music they have. piped in all 70’s songs I remember. the food is super fresh. and the soft shelled tacos are delicious!!! My tacos came with fresh guacamole salsa and white shredded cheese. The taco shells are soft and very light. not all bread or hard. really perfect! The re-fried beans and rice that came with my tacos is really fresh and good tasting also. For my second beer I tried the mordelo not the negro though I’m not a huge fan of dark beer. My meal was so big I had to take one of my tacos to go I couldn’t finish all 3. As I was finishing up the song California dreaming came on which only made me wish I was I cali right now followed by the Beatles in my life. great songs great food great service i will be back!

After a fairly long day, I really didn’t feel like making my own dinner so a friend and I came here to grab a quick bite. I’ve heard positive things about this place in the past, and wanted to try it out. It’s in the same plaza as other restaurants I’ve enjoyed, so I figured this was a good place to head to since there were several options close by. The first thing that struck us was the mood lighting. The cozy restaurant was dark aside from the fading sunlight passing through the front windows and strategically placed lights hanging from the ceiling that offered a soft glow above each table. The handful of booths were full, so we sat at the bar. We were offered drinks, chips, and salsa right away. The mild salsa was delicious, and we asked for a second helping later. I had the cochinta burrito while my friend had the traditional steak burrito, and both came out pretty quickly. The portions were generous, and the dollops of melted cheese decorating the plate made me salivate. We both ended up taking half our burritos home. One thing I noticed was that the burritos were stuffed full of meat. I’m more accustomed to rice, lettuce, and salsa in my burritos as I like a little green crunch and it helps absorb juice from the meat. Though I enjoyed the burritos here, I still found myself missing the Mexican food I had on the West Coast. The pork inside the conchita burrito was juicy and flavorful. The sauce did soak through the tortilla overnight so my reheated leftovers were on the soggy side. I eyed other customers’ plates coming out of the kitchen and the carne asada, fajitas, and flautas are on my list of things to try in the future. The seating arrangement in here might not be the best place for large groups, but the hearty portions and robust flavors do make it an enticing place to grab a quick meal or some takeout.

I am in love with this place. I was on vacation in Florida last week and this was the best meal of my trip. Señor Burrito is a very low key spot with excellent food and service. Don’t be fooled by the small and unassuming strip mall that this restaurant sits in, SB is a fabulous eatery. I had the guacamole and chips and the steak fajitas. Both were excellent and inexpensive. The steak fajitas were a huge portion and perfect for two people to split. The service was super fast and our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. There is a decent sized drink menu here as well. I will be back the next time I return to Florida!

Disclaimer: THISREVIEWISNOTNICE, BUTISVERYDETAILED. I want to give this place NEGATIVE stars or at least ZERO. Just telling you up front. This is one of the few times Unilocal or should I say other Unilocalers have let me down, this time epically so. If you want to know just how BAD this place really is, keep reading, ANDLOOKATTHEPHOTOSPOSTEDWITHTHISREVIEW. Before I even get into this review I would like to ask other Unilocalers to think long and hard before just slapping a 5 star rating on a biz, especially if you are an «Elite». Some of(if not most of you) would need to have a doc check your palate because I and almost any random person on the street would know after one bite that it is literally impossible to get a 5 star meal from this place. SHAMEONANYELITESTHATGAVETHISPLACE A 5STARRATING. Seriously. So we decided to grab a late bite to eat and decided to try out Señor Burrito. We almost didn’t end up going in because the lights were turned down so low, we thought they may be closed but luckily for them, I saw people from the light of my truck inside. UNLUCKILY for us, we went in and ordered from there. As mentioned before the lights were LOW, so it was like walking into a CAVE. We came in about 15 minutes before closing, so out of respect for the staff and our just wanting to go home and watch a flic, we opted for carry out. The order was very simple. One order of chips and guacamole and two orders of fish tacos, one with rice and beans, the other with the«spinach and cheese nachos». As we waited, we couldn’t help but feel a little bit of buyer’s remorse starting to creep in. little bit by little bit we started to notice that the place was in NEEDOF A SERIOUSCLEANING. We did at one point see some point see one of the people come out and attempt to sweep the floor(I use the word attempt because he «swept» the floor like an angry teen being told to do chores he didn’t want to do, in effect actually kicking up more dust instead all while at least one person was eating. Our food was packaged up and we left, glad that we did not dine in. When we got home we went to go plate our food and and noticed that what was in the tacos was a far cry from what it’s described as on the menu. As we opened up the tacos made of EXTREMELYLOWGRADE corn tortillas, we found piles of MUSHY shredded lettuce soaked in ranch dressing with a MEAGER strip of what they call«mahi». While fish usually has a bit of a «fishy» smell to it, there was a bit of extra FUNK on this stuff. Had I known there was ranch on it, I would not have ordered it, because not only do I despise ranch, but it has no place in Mexican food(unless you are a Unilocaler with a broken sense of taste). The beans and rice were the typical CRAP you get from any of these BASTARDIZED mexican joints. The«Spinach and Cheese Nachos» were LITERALLY4 tortilla chips with a pinch of spinach on them topped with BURNT cheese(mind you, this is supposed to be a substitute for beans and rice). Ok, WTF?!? So here we are, after the place has closed STUCK with this GARBAGE we just paid $ 32 for. WTF. My gf reminds me that she has a couple of tortillas and spinach in the fridge, and I actually had to SALVAGE the fish. F#&$INGHORRIBLE. I actually had to take this NASTY ranch soaked GARBAGEFAKE fish and rinse it off in the sink and make new tacos with what we had. Thank God we had a «Taco Repair Kit» on deck, or else we would’ve gone to bed hungry. An attempt to call the restaurant was FRUITLESS as they were already closed up when we left. Flash forward to the next afternoon when I called and asked for the«manager». I was on my best behavior and explained all of the previous night’s details to her. Her reply is that SHEKNOWSTHATTHEDISHISBAD and that MANYPEOPLEHAVETHESAMECOMPLAINT and that she has told the owner, but that ownership is happy with the product as is. I told her that I understand that mistakes happen and that I would I would greatly appreciate a refund for the food. She said that she would have to check with someone about that and would need to call me back. To her credit, she did call me back quickly to let me know that the way it works in their restaurant is that if they make a meal that is BAD that they will make another meal for you because they want the chance to keep you as a customer, which is ok IF you are willing to eat their food again, and we are MOSTCERTAINLYNOT. What this lady and the rest of the ownership and mgmt have FAILED to realize is that it is on the customer to accept the offer of another chance, not for the restaurant to be CHEAP and not want to refund money for food NOTAPTLYDESCRIBED or even worth eating. So, to the owners and managers of this GARBAGEPITDISGUISEDAS A RESTAURANT, is that your chance was to not RIPMEOFF, not try to FORCEFEED me SWILL I wouldn’t even give to a stray dog.

Came here following the positive reviews. They’re well deserved. The food was great and the service could not be better. Being a small restaurant, the place was packed when we arrived. They had a couple of spaces at the bar, but we asked for a table. They told us one would be available in a few minutes and invited us to sit outside(they have a row of chairs for waiting guests. They brought out a little table with chips and our drinks – nice. In a few minutes our table inside was ready. The food was excellent. We ordered a couple of appetizers first but held off on ordering more food. Good thing we did, as the appetizers were so abundant that we had no room for anything else. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is quite pleasant, although I did find the lighting too dim. We came to Boca only for a meeting, so I might not be returning here anytime soon. But when we do, I’d love to try this restaurant again.

Nice place but the flavoring is a little off. The quesadilla tasted weird like a cheese steak. The fajitas were good, meat was a little over cooked. I’ve had better tacos at tacos El carbone, they were ok. Rice and beans were good. The best part of the meal was the fact that they brought the condiments for the fajitas separately and not all together like most places. If we lived closer we would try again but it’s not worth driving 25 min for us.

So, I’ve been going to the Argentinian Deli, located in the same run-down, unattractive strip center off 20th Street and Federal Highway(head shops, do your own laundry, shoe repair, etc) and never tried SENORBURRITO, which is located at the north end of the center. I thought I would one day give it a try, as it always had a bunch of cars in the lot parked in front of their entrance, so it surely had it’s following. My friend Marsha, who had a bad case of bronchitis and was in bed in her multi-million $ East Boca condo, texted me that this guy who she met on-line brought her CHICKENSOUP from Señor Burrito, and that it was the BESTCHICKENSOUP she EVER had. Marsha kept texting me, day after day, asking me if I tried their chicken soup yet. [“not yet, but I will” was not a sufficient answer.] She kept HOCKING me to go try their chicken soup. So frankly, to stop her texting me, Dennis and I went there on a specific mission — to try their CHICKENSOUP. Now, the ambience of the place is sort of quasi run down, but neat and clean, booths real clean and cushions on the seats which if you are not careful you slide off(an important tip), and the bar(wine and beers only) has about 10 bar stools, and it was PACKED at 1PM. Warmly greeted by a hostess/owner, I figured I found a real good place. And then I looked around at the bar, and there were 5 dudes, all really built [“ah, this is my kinda place”] ALL having these HUGEBOWLS of CHICKENSOUP. So I thought, «if these built guys are ALL having CHICKENSOUP, it really MUST be AWESOME… and I decided that next time I went there during the day, I would sit at the bar, and maybe a built guy would sit next to me, and slurp CHICKENSOUP and I could make small talk with him, say like«Hey, bro, this is some damn good CHICKENSOUP, huh? What’s going on, bro?] [Hey, we can all have our fantasies, right?] So, I ordered CHICKENSOUP, and Den ordered A Chicken Burrito [he liked it], and this HUGEBOWLOFCHICKENSOUP($ 6.25!!) is brought to the table, steaming hot. Loaded with carrots, potatoes, finely diced onions, guacamole, cilantro, and LOTSOFWHITEMEATCHICKEN. But there was ONECRITICALELEMENTMISSING — it was TASTELESS. Was I supposed to add HOT sauce? Why? So, I ate half of it, brought the rest home, figuring I would have it the next day, and maybe it would be better. It was still tasteless. I returned a week later at 8PM, and the place was again PACKED. Every booth taken, all seats at the bar taken [NOBUILTGUYS, though], and people waiting outside for a table. So, I figure«It’s you, Max, you are missing their ESSENCE, you are being TOOCRITICAL, and then I wondered«maybe my taste buds are shot, doesn’t that happen to you when you get old?» This time I ordered CHICKENMOLEVERDE, and the chicken was shredded, with a lot of mole sauce on top. Sorry, but it was TASTELESS. Den ordered CHICKENFAJITAS, and they were SIZZLINGHOT, and tasty. I liked them a lot, but it wasn’t my meal, but he being so kind, allowed me to switch plates. Wait staff are attentive and responsive. Bathroom was immaculate. BEERS were real cold. Food was HOT. But, it was NOT the best Mexican food I ever tasted, as some reviewers claim, and now I know what to expect, so if I return, it will not be for the TASTE of the food, but to feed my fantasies, and to get a decent, inexpensive meal close to home. With little to no taste. P. S. I told Marsha it was not the best CHICKENSOUP I tasted, and she must have been delirious from her bronchitis meds, or had been away from Manhattan too long. Or both. She finally had nothing more to say. Thanks for your patience reading this, but I had a story to tell, or at least I thought I did, and give them a fair review.

My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in the world… and that includes Mexico and New Mexico, as I have had Mexican food there as well. I love the green mole sauce, and I’ve never been to another Mexican restaurant that has green mole, it is totally unique and tastes yummy. I now have to drive 45 mins to get there, but I still make it down there as much as possible! I’ve been eating at this place since 2000, and it’s seriously one of my favorite places to eat… ever! Also love their spicy green jalapeño salsa!

While we were busy locking our bikes to the pole outside, the waitress set up our table for 5 before we even entered the restaurant. She quickly brought us our drinks and chips and fresh salsa. I saw another table with green salsa, which might be spicier. I want to try that next time. I shared a shredded beef burrito and a taco asada with my brother. The 3 tacos were served on corn tortillas with a side of guacamole, white shredded cheese, & salsa. The steak was well seasoned. It was good, but the burrito was AMAZING. We ordered the shredded beef traditional burrito for $ 9.50 and includes rice and beans. The meat is super tender. The flour tortilla is covered with white cheese and a ranchero sauce. The beans and burrito were delicious. Service was great. It is a small restaurant with a bar(beer and wine only) and about 7 tables. There is parking in the attached parking lot. All five of us were super satisfied with our meals and would return.

Great Mexican food in a very cosy bistro style restaurant. A warm friendly atmosphere and wonderful service. The kind of place I would become a regular at if I lived local. I had the same thing both times I visited, the conchita pork burrito, it was very good. So good i had to order it again when I went back. A large burrito filled with a Smokey spicey flavourful pulled pork. Served with rice and queso Blanco. The complimentary chips and salsa are not your ordinary fare. The salsa is fresh and tasty and hotter salsa Verde is fantastic. No room for desert after finishing the meal, maybe next time ツ
