Maybe 2.5 star… Staff was very friendly, and helped my wife choose a beer. The food was good, and arrived quickly. However… This is a pub, with lots of terrific beer on tap. When one sits at the bar at a pub, you should not have to sit there and beg for a refill. My glass remained empty for long periods and we actually had to flag people down when we wanted a drink.

The place is very good, the food too. I was there with my family this weekend and everyone appreciate it. We will be going back for sure.

I come here allot for the deals, the beer, music and atmosphere. Everyone is very nice, the Monday $ 5 burger is the best deal. They have plenty of beer options to satisfy any craving. Definitely a good place to watch any sports or hang with friends

Love it! Stayed at the Marriott next door. Ana recommend the Muscles and they were awesome. Ana was amazing. It’s hard to get a server that is this good. Sending this review right from our table. Attentive, friendly and helpful. I recommend this place and this waitress! Great stuff!

$ 2.00 happy hour miller light had my attention. Shrimp Mac was awesome! Brussels sprouts, yes Brussels sprouts were the best veggie I had ever had! I probably wasn’t smart by ordering the basic fish and chip but was good. Several French fry options, Parmesan was the best. Cajun fry was just too salty. Atmosphere was great, plenty of room to move around and big spacious outdoor area and long bar. Will definitely be coming again when in town. There are lots of places to bounce around to. Maybe not on a weekday but probably good for a weekend. Parking is a pain but valet is available so if in a hurry just do that.

Tap42, always good beer! Rotating weekly taps, and many others. Lots of beer options to choose from, including craft bottles. Some wine, some cocktails. Don’t get the Vodka Mint cocktail, it’s not good. Enjoy their very big bar spaces, and locations have indoor/outdoor venues. Enclosed when it’s cold, good for groups, lounge seating, TVs, background music. Staff are always friendly. Will continue to frequent the Fort Lauderdale location again and again. $ 5 burgers on Monday’s, Ladies drink free specials on Wednesday’s, happy hour specials M-F 4−7pm $ 3 off drinks, and $ 15 bottomless brunch drinks and $ 15 brunch on weekends. Haven’t been to the brunch yet but would like to scope it out. Get here! It’s fun, it’s great, good people watching, delicious variety of beers. This place will not disappoint.

This spin off of TAP down in Fort Lauderdale lacks its HUGE watering hole status, in part because it’s busy Boca full of competition, in part because Ft. Lauderdale has a very young, hip crowd versus the hip-replacement crowd of snow vultures that frequent Boca eateries, and so they’re doing really well with us 55 and under ‘youngn’s. Their menu is craftsman new American, they have acres of beers, both on tap and in bottles, and their spirits selections feature enough cool mixed drinks and specialty bourbons, gins and vodkas to keep the experiential millennials and me from being too bored. The food is really A+ for a bar/restaurant. Even for those of us who have to diet from time to time to atone for our foodie fascinations, I found a great salad that had roasted almonds, citrus, green apple, and I was able to flip it from greens to kale to make me fuller and healthier while still enjoying my fully decadent adult beverages of choice. I’ve had the wings before at their other location, along with the mussels, both of which are screamingly good. The service was excellent, and two points to them for putting some tasteful looking acoustic tiles into the ceiling here and there to combat the deafening roar that is their Fort Lauderdale Airport-adjacent flagship(Often times it would be quieter drinking and dining on the runway at 33LEFT at FLL than there). My only minor beef is that they took what is still a very oddly configured building and made it even odder inside. It maximizes space, but, dropped at a table right at the end of the row inside opposite the bar, by the hostess stand, it feels like you’re in a factory the way the tables are aligned, and loses a lot of the intimacy that works so well in Ft. Lauderdale’s layout. Their outdoor patio seating is rockin.’ You can hold drinking competitions with the overpriced under-quality tequileria Rocco’s Tacos next door.

I’ve never had a bad experience at the one off Andrews but a pair of experiences at the Boca Raton location has resulted in less then average experiences. If you’re drinking and playing with the large selection of brews and custom drinks then I’d say Tap 42 successfully delivers. However, my two personal food experiences have resulted in sour stomaches and not so impressive food quality overall, especially given the price. I can understand if the food might have a consistency problem where one visit might be on point while the next visit might be disappointing but to have consecutive bad experiences has stopped me from going back. Last two times had the avocado burger and both times I had massive stomach ache problems and it wasn’t just me in the party that complained that night of illness. I just can’t recommend Tap42 in Boca Raton. Look elsewhere.

Lovely décor with indoor and outdoor seating. I’ve been here for a Unilocal event before and got to try a lot of the dishes and drinks. So I knew I wanted the Blazin cucumber drink. It’s super refreshing and addicting. I tried the short rib sliders and chicken lettuce wraps. The sliders were amazing but the lettuce wraps were just ok. I saw a lot of items on the menu that I want to try so I’ll be back. I’ve been to the location in ft lauderdale and had the $ 5 prohibition burger which was delicious so I’ll definitely try it at this location also.

I went to the New Year’s Eve party last night. I wish there was a separate place to review just the party because it was my only experience with this place. So online I saw the info on the party. Before purchasing two tickets at about $ 100 each I called for more info. Whoever I spoke to said there would be a variety of food passed around. I tried to get my sister to go. She called for info because she is a vegetarian and was told there would be vegetarian friendly options. She ended up not going which was a good thing. There were about a handful of different hors-d’oeuvres and none of them were vegetarian. There was not a variety of food at all. Even after midnight there was what was supposed to be a ‘brunch buffet.’ It was not brunch but was limited breakfast options. When we got there all the seats were removed from inside. Outside there were hardly any tables or chairs. We were forced to stand. No one who had a table was getting up because of such limited seating. A lot of people seemed to leave well before midnight probably because it was not the most comfortable of situations. In a nutshell I thought the couple of food items I ate were good. I also had a really good blood orange margarita. I would be willing to come back again and just eat the regular food there off the menu. I did not feel this event was worth what it cost at all. I would not attend another overpriced event here. On the website it said there was food, drinks, a DJ, a photo booth and ‘more.’ I never figured out what exactly ‘more’ was.

I’ve been here twice now for work-related dinners and the food and selection of beer never fail. The place is hip, modern and offer an an array of eclectic food. I love the décor as it’s got the color and style that I love. The one thing I would say is that for work-related dinners, it may not be the most appropriate place to go as it’s always seemingly loud and more of a hot spot than a dinner spot for colleagues. Luckily my colleagues are fun and laid back but it can still be difficult to talk work with what’s going on around you. One time we went there, it seemed to be a radio-station hosted Halloween party(which don’t get me wrong — was very entertaining) but again, super loud and the next night, it was apparently«ladies night» where they offered me wine in a plastic cup. Eh… no thanks. It was also very loud that night as well(and it was something like a Tuesday or Wednesday night, so I wouldn’t expect this place to be crazy) All-in-all, this place is great for dinner and drinks — just make sure you go with the right company.

I had such a wonderful time at Unilocal’s Rockstar Halloween Party at Tap 42 that I had to come back to try more of their delicious food. When I was there with Unilocal I didn’t realize that the restaurant and bar area was so big. There’s outdoor seating, a covered patio that opens to the outdoors, and a big room on the other side of the bar. Clyde, my cousin Gary, and I went to Tap 42 for dinner. We sat in the big room. Only one other table was occupied although there were several people on the patio and at the bar. I was surprised that the menu was quite small. Our server told us they had two specials, a fish sandwich and pulled pork sliders that were not listed on the menu. I had seen pictures of the shrimp Mac and cheese on Unilocal and I had to order that. Clyde and my cousin both ordered the Prohibition burger, which is a hamburger with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and special sauce. It came with French fries. Clyde and I shared our entrees. I gave him half of my shrimp Mac and cheese for half of his Prohibition burger and fries. The shrimp Mac and cheese had lots of shrimp. The pasta was more like a twisted shape than macaroni. The cheese was baked on top and a thick liquid cheese inside. It really was delicious and Clyde and I both enjoyed it. The hamburger was served medium, which is how we ordered it. It was served with a slice of pickle on the side. The hamburger was delicious. It was fairly large. The fries were very good also. The problem was that the hamburger was supposed to come with bacon and special sauce. which were missing. We had already eaten part of the burger before I remembered that there should have been bacon and sauce. I told our server about the missing bacon and she offered to bring some. I said it wasn’t necessary since we had already eaten most of the hamburger. When our server came back with our check she said the manager had taken the hamburger off of the bill. What a pleasure going to a restaurant that doesn’t charge you if your order isn’t right. That’s great customer service. I’m looking forward to going back there.

Diane and I and her cousin decided to visit Tap 42 for dinner. I was really impressed by them at the Unilocal Halloween party where I really had the time of my life. We sat in the back where it was wonderfully cool. We were immediately approached by Angela, a very friendly server. She was a very efficient person, didn’t rush us and offered great suggestions. I like light beer, so she brought me a sample of their lightest in-house beer– which I ordered– Tequesta Chancellor Kolsch. It was good, but frankly I like Coors Light better. So for my second beer, that’s what I ordered – aahh! For food we had the Prohibition burger and Shrimp Mac and cheese. Unfortunately, the burger arrived without any toppings or sauce. Before we noticed it we had eaten half of the burger. It was cooked beautifully and was scrumptious. The Mac and cheese was delicious. It was loaded with shrimp, baked perfectly and the cheese was to die for – I was in heaven. When the check arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that the server had asked the manager to take the burger off. It makes me remember how a quality restaurant such as Tap 42 deals with small problems. Instead of leaving dissatisfied, I was wonderfully pleased and would go back to Tap 42 anytime!

I finally made it to the Boca Raton location! I was so happy that we were able to get a table as soon as walking in. We sat at the table, while the waitress explained the $ 15 unlimited mimosa, Funky Buddha Floridian and bloody mary’s. I ended up getting the Funky Buddha Florida and the white chocolate strawberry pancakes. Yes, I know that is a lot of sugar and carbs. I am not one who is counting, just enjoying. I was up in the air about that or the quinoa dish — both vegetarian. I decided to live on the edge and go for the gold. The pancakes were huge and DELISH! Those white chocolate chips absolutely melt in your mouth during each bite. Besides the awesome dish, I really enjoyed the service. Even though they were crazy busy, we got a seat right away and an attentive waitress. I had a much better experience here than the Fort Lauderdale one. I will definiltey be back soon. Thanks for being awesome!

It was my idea to celebrate a friend’s birthday at Tap 42. I made a reservation for a party of 20, for a Saturday night on their website. Within the next day, I received an email confirmation from an event planner, confirming the date and time of the reservation. We arrived about 10 minutes earlier than the reservation to see 2 tables reserved under the patio. Typically, it’s so humid outside but we didn’t mind sitting outside since there was a breeze and a bunch of fans on the ceilings. We were quickly greeted by a friendly server, who advised he was going to take care of us and that separate checks were no problem what so ever. We started with a couple of beers. Since I’m not a beer lover, I stuck to what I know best — Angry Orchard Crisp Apple. My boyfriend ordered the Funky Buddha Floridian. We then ordered two appetizers to share: «chicken little» sliders and short rib beef sliders. While we were waiting for our appetizers, I was able to munch on some roasted brussel sprouts. Those brussel sprouts were delicious! I couldn’t believe how great a vegetable could taste! The appetizers(which ended up being our meal) arrived shortly. I personally enjoyed both appetizers, but if I had to rank them — the short rib beef sliders would be #1. Towards the end of the night, I ordered a basket of crispy friends and really enjoyed them. I couldn’t believe how tasty those fries were. Whenever someone wants to enjoy a fun night out, I’m going to suggest Tap 42!

This place is LOUD during happy hour on Friday nights. I promise I’m not that old lol. I HOPEYOUHEARDMYFIRSTSENTENCE! Hehehe. See what I did there. Anyways, we started off with some crispy Asian calamari that was tremendous, served on top of Asian slaw and a side of sweet & sour sauce. Loved it! We also ordered some chicken littles. Truffle honey butter fried chicken mini sandwiches, it was like a flavor blast in my mouth! Loved it. Excellent combination of sweet and salty. For the main I ordered the blackened mahi-mahi sandwich. It came with a roasted red chili tarter sauce that was to die for. Delicious. Only problem was that the fish sandwich was lacking in the fish department. Don’t get me wrong, it tasted great but there wasn’t much there. Two things kept TAP42 from a 5 star review. One, the fish sandwich needed more fish and two, they need to find a way to soften the acoustics. Other than that we loved it. Will be back to try more of the menu.

Yikes! I got a little schnuckered up, but in a sensible kind of way. Great conversation with my two guests. We lost track of time, and the drinks kept a comin’. We got here at around 7 p.m. on a Saturday. The older Boca crowd was just departing and was replaced by the 20-to-30-something crowd as the evening progressed. It was the first weekend of college football, and the tomahawk chop was out in full force as FSU was scoring TD’s left and right. Meanwhile, my Wisconsin Badgers were getting their collective arse kicked by Alabama. On this evening, however, the mood was jolly and nothing, not even a Badgers loss, was going to bring me down. The waitress was really good. She beat me to the punch on one occasion when my beer didn’t arrive in a timely manner. I appreciated that she noticed. She was friendly and never rushed us. I had my normal Prohibition burger. I’m a creature of habit. No need to go into details as the burger is standard amongst Tap 42’s guests. I was told the fish and chips were delicious, too. Such a pleasant evening. It’s a big place with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of TV’s. Music is loud, which I can tolerate after two or three beers. Not a biggie. Looking forward to returning. Love this locale as I do the Fort Lauderdale establishment.

Like many others, I frequented the original Tap 42 in Fort Lauderdale often. When I found out months ago that they were opening a second location less than 2 miles from my place I was so excited! Since the opening I have been 4 times so it is safe to say I love the new Tap 42! The new location is much bigger and the open area outside is very comfortable with the additional couches set up to just relax and hangout. Also there is a lot more parking with the garage behind the restaurant. Recently I decided to throw my friend a surprise birthday dinner party here. I contacted Tap 42 and they set me up with Michelle Quinn the Tap42 Boca Event Coordinator. She was awesome to deal with and answered all of my questions. It was a large party of about 25 people and she made sure we had two tables reserved. I even arrived several hours early to drop off the cake and birthday supplies and the hostesses were so friendly and happy to help in whatever way I needed to make the party run smoothly. They also easily accommodated several separate checks for the large group. I was overly impressed and grateful for how the staff handled everything that night so thank you! As far as the food goes it is always consistently good. I love the burgers and brought my dad here to enjoy the $ 5 burgers on Monday night. He loved the Prohibition burger and so did I! I really like the chicken littles and pulled pork sliders. Perfect for a happy hour snack or meal. The skillet spinach and artichoke dip is also really good as an appetizer. I did order the fish sandwich one night and although it was really good the size of the fish on my sandwich was really small and you could only see bread when they served it to me. It was late on a Sunday so I will let that one go as an off night glitch lol. Make sure to try the brussel sprouts as a side! They are delicious and tossed in this yummy sauce that I think has Dijon in it but I am not sure. Overall I LOVE the new Tap 42 and I can’t wait to come back when the weather cools off a bit to enjoy their awesome brunch with $ 15 unlimited mimosas. Their drafted old fashioned and mule drink are also 2 of my favorites. This new location has a huge following already and the staff seems to be able to handle the large crowds well. I am very happy to have them here in Boca!

As everyone probably knows, the Tap 42 in Fort Lauderdale has quite a following, so there was no surprise when they announced their growth, with the second location being Boca. Located in the plaza I refer to as «The Roccos Tacos /Total Wine Plaza» you’ll find Tap 42 positioned just across from the Roccos Tacos, a short walk away from the parking garage, or front-side lot parking(if you can find a spot). Personally, I love Tap 42 in Fort Lauderdale. Truth be told I only find the food to be good, not outstanding, but the place has a great vibe, great crowd and I like the concept, and all of this definitely carried over to the Boca location, so setting up a surprise birthday party here for Cherine A. was a natural choice for the planning committee! I arrived slightly early and grabbed a seat at the bar. Like the Fort Lauderdale location the bar has both inside and outside seats, and being someone who hates AC I sat outside. I was surprised a Tuesday night at 6pm had such an after work happy hour crowd(the place was pretty packed with young professionals)! Happy hour = $ 3 off all drinks except craft beer bottles, so I went with a signature cocktail — the Boca Blonde. This drink, well, it wasn’t spectacular, and I found it to be a bit bland, so I definitely wouldn’t order it again… in fact I switched to mojitos afterwards, which were much better! Once the party arrived and awaited Cherine’s walk in we got down to ordering at the table, and despite there being a group of 15 – 20 of us, our one server was easy to find and did a great job of keeping checks separate! For food I went with the goat cheese stuffed peppadews(had these before and I love them) and the mahi mahi sandwich(upgraded my side from fries to brussel sprouts for $ 1 extra). I had never had the sandwich before but it was pretty tasty and I enjoyed the sauce on the bread. There was also a side of sauce, and I wasn’t sure if it was the same sauce on the bread, or something for dipping my brussel sprouts in, but that was the way I went with it, and found it made the brussel sprouts that much better lol. Towards the end of the evening the cake(yes they allowed the party planners to supply their own cake) was brought out and plates provided for serving. I really can’t say enough good things about the staff at this location, and it really does seem like they had zero service kinks(despite only being open for a month!). I can’t comment on the whole planning, but it seems like Tap 42 was able to accommodate all of the requests and gave us the perfect area outside for our group which allowed us to not bother anyone else, and still have room to move/breath, as well as easily handle separate checks!

The much anticipated Tap 42, in Boca, is open and running! I was one of many who would drive down to Fort Lauderdale, make the line for brunch, stand at the bar for a drink, and planned many girls’ night, gatherings, brunches etc., because of how good this place is. Now that the one in Boca is open, I love it even more! Since they opened, I’ve been for lunch, happy hour and brunch and each time has been great! Service is on point… fast, friendly and very welcoming, always ready to make recommendations, especially for those that are experiencing Tap 42 for the first time(yes, there’s some). This location, in my opinion, is a little more comfortable and bigger, making it a little easier to get a table or spot at the bar. Although, with every week that passes, and more people know about it, you can see it getting fuller each time. For example, this past weekend I went for brunch and was able to get the last table available(outside, super hot) but, better than the 1.5hrs wait there was after that. So, yes, you still need to come early for brunch or start with the bottomless Mimosas/Bloody Mary/Funky Buddha Floridian while you wait. The food is solid. Great dishes for all tastes and appetites. I highly recommend the mussels, the Shrimp Mac ‘N Cheese is delicious, of course, the Prohibition Burger is famous, and this past weekend I tried, for the first time, The Hangover for brunch and loved the sweet and savory combination it has. Like I said, there are some that still have not experienced either of the Tap 42 locations, and I have introduced 2 of them to it, and on that first visit became fans of it. There’s no going wrong with them. Fun, casual environment; excellent food and drinks; bottomless brunch; and great location. Needless to say you’ll be seeing me here often. Welcome to Boca, Tap 42!!! We are HAPPY to have you… Cheers!
