Party of 4 for dinner. Started with the Lobster Bisque which was very underwhelming in taste but had a decent amount of claw meat. Lot of sherry flavor. Ate half and server took it off the menu even. Told him not to but was a nice guy. Grouper was on tap next and it was cooked perfect. Highly recommend it. Covered in crawfish and shrimp served with some great Parmesan mashed potatoes. Manager even called me the next day to ensure we had a great time. 5 stars for service 5 stars for ambiance 4 stars for food Would def be close to the elusive 5 star, but I don’t give that out much!

Something must of changed — in the past 6 months I was at this restaurant twice for two of my friends birthdays — each time it was a perfect 10 and several times for happy hour sand always a pleasure I was there two weeks ago and everything from the service to the food was horrible — i am a big fan of the Tuna tower — this time it was mostly the part green stuff on the bottom and was tiny — it should of been called a lump of Tuna — not a tower — I mentioned to the waiter — and response was — this is the way it was — well it’s not — the stone crab appetizer — I could buy bigger medium claws in publixs — the dinner presentations looked like sloop on a plate and they brought out birthday cake to the birthday man before cleaning off table and asking for coffee — very amateur service and food was horrible — what happened Truluck! At end of meal the give you a tablet to rate service — I did and mentioned this I am surprised nobody responded — which shows me they don’t care — well I was a big fan of your establishment and the 4 others who was with me as well — we all agree they will not see us again

This place was fantastic. Such great service and the food was amazing! I was at an event in the area and stopped here to have a drink and a late bite. I walked in and went to the bar so that I could listen to the piano singer that was playing that night. I ordered a Lychee martini which was fantastic. I ordered some oysters as well as the salt and pepper calamari. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic. The bartender that served me was very attentive, friendly, and courteous. It really was a great way to top the evening. The prices are a little pricey so it is certainly not a venue that I would visit frequently, but since I stuck to a few apps and drinks the check was not too bad. I will certainly consider this place next time I am in the area again.

Well this is my first time eating at this branch. It didn’t disappoint. The crab cake was the best I’ve ever tasted. No fillers … All high quality crab meat. The calamari was so delicious. For the Main dishes. Had the Striped Bass with dynamite sauce topped with lobster, shrimp and crabs. And also had the Grouper with spicy creole sauce topped with crawfish, crabs and shrimp .Soo good. The carrot cake and chocolate cakes are out of this world. Every dollar spent was so worth. That’s why I keep coming back to this restaurant. I’ve been to their other branch off Sunrise Blvd 8 times already. They are that good. Portions are very decent :))

Great stone crab and they have a terrific seafood appetizer for 2 which is actually a very good deal! Good steaks, excellent side dishes, wonderful service and definitely worthy of being a fav place while in Boca.

Great steak place without the old man pretensions. I come here with my father when I’m down from New York. The staff is always professional and friendly without being intrusive. The signature here is the crabs. As I’m not a big stone crab dude, I could only vouche for the ny strip, which was wonderfully cooked with a nice crispy texture. Tommy and Christine, the musicians at the bar, are an added treat and always make the night enjoyable. If you’re in Boca and thinking about a great albeit slightly pricey dinner, this place can’t be beat

We were very lucky to get a reservation on the Saturday night prior to Valentine’s Day through Open Table. This place rocks ! The food and service is top notch. The ambiance is just fantastic. We had a booth near the bar area so we were able to enjoy the live music as well. The crab and lobster Mac and Cheese was packed with fresh crab meat and delicious.

This place is fancy and so is the service. The king crab is the best. Chris is the bartender I usually like to deal with because he makes the best drinks! He always has a smile on his face, even when he is super busy back there! We have been in there a few times when we visit florida, and we will keep coming back. We are very familiar with Truluck’s because we are from Austin! So we like to visit their locations whenever we travel. Mizner Park is the nicest location besides 4th street in ATX. See you next time!

Went back for my 30th bday which fell on a Monday. ALLYOUCANEATSTONECRAB!!! So being that, of course thats what I ordered and nirvana. As usually this place is top shelf however waiter could have had a bit more personality. Carrot cake is the best thing in this world.

Truly enjoyed my dining experience at Truluck’s for my wife’s birthday. Great service, great drinks, great food. My wife loved her Jalapeño tequila martini and my old fashioned was good. Better to just put the peel in the drink instead of the wedge. Takes a couple of seconds to peel an orange, wipe around the rim, twist. Service was A+++, when you called to follow up, I let the person know who my server was at the time and what a great job they did. We will be back.

This was my first time at Trulucks, and boy this is the best steakhouse I have ever had. I will never look at a cheap steak the same after this experience.

Do yourself a favor and skip this place. I ate there this past Saturday night. Had an 8:30pm reservation and had to wait 30 minutes for our table. If you like over priced food with poor service then you will love this place. I won’t be back.

We were here last week. The food was very good, clean and crisp service and the 2 for 1 cocktails and shrimp cocktail appetizer was phenomenal. Got really pricey with dinner and I wasn’t that impressed for the prices with the entrees. Visit the lounge for nice atmosphere that includes live music with cocktails and an appetizer then go to eat elsewhere for a better dinner at more realistic prices! For what you spend on two people here you could spend on 4 – 6 people at Chucks Stealhouse or Houstons!

I eat out 14 times a week, all over the U.S. I think it’s time to start giving honest feedback; helping others make informed dining decisions. +We sat at the bar for dinner. +Upscale ambiance. +Stone Crab dinners were great. +Creamed spinach was perfect. +Good wine list –Bartender was slow, inattentive and generally lacking the skills needed to accomplish the job. He was disappointing. +Valet available +Expect a larger bill, but the Stone Crabs are fantastic. Overall Grade: 86% I would recommend this restaurant.

Outstanding presentation food, ambiance, and service. Impress a date with the shrimp cocktail! Half price appetizers and drinks for happy hour 4:30 — 6:30, seven days a week(summer only?). We went as a group on a Friday night, first time visiting, and sat inside. FOOD: The shrimp cocktail with dry ice is a cool experience; huge shrimp, excellent quality; the regular cocktail sauce is mild, so ask for some horseradish, which is fresh and spicy. Salt and Pepper Calamari was very tender, as good as it gets. Tuna Tartare Tower– loved it. I don’t think any two places make this the same and it was a refreshing change. Oysters Rockefeller — perfect. Warm Goat Cheese — mixed opinions on this, but really only because if you love olives, it’s fantastic, and if you don’t, you’ll wish it were made differently. Served with large crostini’s, a good transporter for the dish. Didn’t care for the Lobster Bisque, which fortunately our waitress offered to let us taste before ordering. I’m not taking off a star for this or the goat cheese because it’s personal preference, not a knock on quality or presentation. SERVICE: Experienced and attentive wait staff and servers were patient and helpful with suggestions. The kind of service you really wish you could get anywhere. Example, the food server offered to come back later with some of our dishes because the table was too small; worked out perfect since it was cold food and we could nosh at a leisurely pace with different foods. AMBIANCE: Updated, classy, clean. Not too crowded. Great place to take a date. MUSIC: Singer started near the time we were leaving, not too loud. KIDS: not recommended, though in the dining room, I’m sure older children would be OK. RECOMMENDED: Happy hour is a great way to try the food and restaurant at a lower price point, otherwise entrée, salad and a glass of wine will probably run about $ 70pp plus tip. PARKING: Valet or free parking in garage OTHER: Walk around Mizner shops before or after

Service is great and lots of locals come here after work. There’s 3hr max parking in garage that’s FREE. Also an ice cream shop around corner. Excellent place to come after work! The atmosphere is laid back and the food was ok. I had a wedge salad and the bottom of the lettuce was very watery which calls the dressing to be watery and the salad not to be that great towards the end. The best thing about my dinner was the hot and crispy shrimp that appetizer was very good. The only recommendation I would have is that the Man you have a little bit more variety of entrées.

The service was excellent. Starting with the best items. The Alaskan crab was absolutely delicious not like I have had anywhere other than Alaska. Very meaty and full. My disappointment was that they placed it over the two sides. Not good. The Florida stone crab was not impressive and neither was the mustard sauce(does not compare to joe’s in Miami). The salads were ok. The wedge looked pretty similar to Morton’s but not as good but better than outback so wedge. The Caesar salad is romaine not cut up with dressing, anchovies, small pieces of garlic toast on it. It was ok but you have to cut it with knife. The desserts. The key lime pie was too tart for me and I usually love tart. The presentation was beautiful. The crème brûlée also looked beautiful and tasted ok but was very watery like a custard sauce. I also enjoyed a cup of hot jasmine green tea w a side of lemon. Excellent! It was a great dining experience.

All you can eat stone crabs, Mondays Oct 15th till May 15th! So I’ve recently come here twice in the past 2 weeks and both times I’ve been very pleased. 1st trip was taking my grandfather out for his 88th birthday. It was a cool night so we sat outside which was nice because it’s quieter but your view is of the valet and Ruby Tuesdays. For dinner we shared the tower for 2 and he had the sea bass and I had the grouper. Everything was very good and the service was good so I knew we’d be back. That leads me into trip 2: About 10 days later I see one of my boss’s on Sat morning and she asks«What are you doing Monday? «I immediately assume she wants me to take her shift so I tell her I’m busy, then she says something about Truluck’s and stone crab and I shout«oh, I’m in!» :-P This time booth inside, noisy but tolerable. At 8pm the place was still packed full of people so the service was a little slow but our waitress was nice. To drink I had a Manhattan which was big and strong and made well but nothing special. Then we all ordered the all you can eat stone crabs claws. It’s $ 79 and includes soup or salad and any one side. I had the lobster bisque and the crab mac, those two items are a meal in themselves. The first plate that came out was a pile of 10 claws medium sized. The next plate was only 6 but these felt like larges. After those 6 I felt like I was going to EXPLODE. I asked our waitress the most anyone ate that night and she pointed to a skinny short man at the table next to us eating a piece of chocolate cake and she told me he had 4 plates. So 28! Talk about a cheat day! Overall it was a fun experience and my boss’s bf said he’s coming back every Monday but after drinks, tax, tap it’s like $ 130pp so maybe not again for a few weeks.
