Impressed. At every aspect. The service was great, friendly and enthusiastic about where they work. The food? Every moment of it was exceptional. The pre-app, the bread and banana split butter, the entrees(lamb and grouper) as well as the purple bacon au gratin side… It was all everything the menu claimed it would be. They even have a really nice wine selection. This place is small, it is loud and they serve wine/beer. It is not for the uppity & pretentious or cheap(boca discount diners that’s you). But, if great food and service is why you go to dinner? Then this is a must. New menu every 8 weeks!

I’ve been here several times and the food here is always fantastic. The owners and servers make this an even better experience. Everything we ordered was a great combination of flavors. I will definitely be back!

My boyfriend’s family took us here to celebrate my college graduation and we had an incredible experience. The owners each personally greeted our table and spoke with us and the wait staff was prompt, professional, and helpful. The pork belly corndogs were a gourmet spin on a fun favorite– the pork was tender and the sauces it came with were great. I ordered the NY Strip(medium rare) and it came out PERFECTLY. We all said we would NEVER go anywhere else for steak again. Substituted balsamic cherry tomatoes in place of the asparagus and was very happy. Between each course, the servers placed appropriate silverware and the owners came by often. It was a true fine dining experience. We ordered chocolate smores profiteroles for dessert that was topped with dark chocolate sauce recipe that they had been making for 30 years. 10⁄10 would recommend. The fruit that garnished our dessert plates was SO fresh and flavorful that even my boyfriend, who hates fruit, loved the blackberries. All in all, if you really want a special, truly authentic meal out, come to this restaurant(with a reservation). You’ll never want to go to Capital Grille again.

I do not know how excellent can get better, but it did. Every time I go I am in shock, the food gets better and better. The most creative, artistic, flavorful dishes I have ever tasted. And the service is always wonderful. And the wine list? Killer! Truly the best in South Florida. Definitely make a reservation …

Unique cozy nice restaurant over all. Food is really good. A little overpriced. They give you little treats in the middle. The reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because of the waiter Michael I believe. It seemed like he did not want to give us his time. For example, he would ask which wine we would like to have, while my husband and I are debating, in 2 seconds you find him serving the table next to us. He also spoke very fast explaining the food items as the plates were served. It ruined the excitement we had as the dishes looked unique. Other than that, Rhonda is very nice and the restaurant definitely has a unique ambiance that you don’t find much nowadays.

Chef Ron and host Rhonda make you feel very welcome and special in this smallish, intimate restaurant. From start to finish, you can taste that they use the best and freshest ingredients. Chef Ron likes to challenge you to identify the tastes in the«amuse bouche» and between courses sorbet(easier said than done.) Rhonda is a former pastry chef, and it shows in her baking. The staff is attentive and professional.

This restaurant is out of this world AMAZING — hands down! You definitely need a reservation if you want to come here — and it’s sometimes not easy to get one. It’s a very small restaurant inside, they have outside seating as well but I love it inside — very intimate and warm. The restaurant is owned by the chef and he is just simply AMAZING. During the course of being there, the chef comes out and gives you little things to try — these things are items he is thinking about putting on his menu for the following week. It’s awesome! He also gives you these little sorbet palette cleansers which is awesome, he has you sit and guess what flavors you taste. The first one we tasted was awesome and we guessed close, it had: celery, mint, kiwi, and starfruit(would have never guessed starfruit because I have never tried it before). It was delicious and very cleansing to say the least. For appetizers our table split the Charred Artichoke Salad, Pan Roasted Vermont Quail and the Brown Beech Mushroom/Apple soup. My boyfriend looooooooooved the quail and highly recommends it for an appetizer. The soup was absolutely to die for — I’ve never had anything like it. So good! Salad was perfectly refreshing. Nick loves the HOC Duck Breast — he said it really is a hang over cure. The yellow tail snapper is awesome but I definitely think the seared atlantic salmon takes the cake. It comes with Maine lobster, mussels, roasted tomatoes, rice noodles and this really awesome coconut curry broth… sooooo delicious! Make sure you ask for a side of the gnocchi. I have never seen it so fluffy — but it’s delicious. Our friend Jason is obsessed with it. This is a restaurant where you definitely shouldn’t plan on walking out with a bill under $ 100. It is expensive but completely worth every penny. The staff is so nice, the chef is awesome and its one of the best experiences all around. It’s not a restaurant that you just see as you drive by, you have to be looking for it because it’s like a little hidden gem. I hope they keep up all the good and awesome work. I seriously cannot wait to go back!

Had a great experience here with my friends our server our wine and the food. Started off with some delicious mussels and fois grais In a red sauce. Then had a perfectly charred on the outside and light red on the inside ribeye. Super tender and super tasty. Everyone finished everything they ordered. The chef clearly has great food skills. It’s a small intimate place with a good vibe. Service is great and our server recommended a wine that was just perfect with our meals and very reasonably priced for how good it was. Make sure you make reservations in advance since seating is limited. Location is a plus also since it’s located in a nice shopping area conducive to an after dinner walk, shpping and nice places for an after dinner drink. Well worth the ride from Sunny Isles.

I’ve tried to come here several times. Each time I come they are closed. This time I wanted to be sure I got in so made a reservation on a Monday night for a Christmas dinner for me and three of my direct reports. The day of the dinner, one of my employees told me they are closed on Mondays. «What? I have a reservation!» I said. It turns out there website said they are closed on Mondays. But, for whatever reason, they were open on that Monday. So I cannot really figure out when this place is open. When we walked in we were greeted right away by the owner. I explained that our party of 4, would only be a party of 3 for the evening, and that didn’t seem to be a problem at all. She sat us down at a table only a few steps away from the door. From what I can tell all the tables are only a few steps away from the door. I am not sure if there is another part of the restaurant, or if the restaurant is just very small. Either way, where we were sitting was quite comfortable and intimate(if it wasn’t a work dinner, lol). She went on to explain that the restaurant is owned by her and her husband and everything is made fresh. She explained their specials and immediately has someone come over to take our drink order. We ordered a nice bottle of red wine to get the night going. I decided to start with the Moroccan Spiced Maine Lobster. It was nicely presented on the plate stacked with dried lemon cous cous. The red Harissa was on the side. I was surprised how well lobster went with the Harissa. Never expect such subtle tasting seafood could be paired with a strong flavor like Harissa. Side note #1: During the appetizer, I dropped my fork on the floor. The server promptly brought a replacement. Another person in the party ordered the Pan Roasted Vermont Quail for an appetizer. The presentation wasn’t anything to write about, but the flavor is. I was fortunate enough to steal a bite. With the foie gras/apricot stuffing combined with a Grand Marnier demiglaze and a perfectly cooked quail, this was a very rich tasting dish. Between each of the courses we were delivered a palate cleanser by the owner. For the first palate cleanser she gave us, she told us it had 7 ingredients and then asked us to guess what they were. Pretty fun. We guessed 4 of the 7. After she told us the other 3, I didn’t believe one of them. I disputed the fact that celery seed was an ingredient. For those of you who really know me, you know I can sense celery from 50 miles away. When there is an item on the menu that is cooked in my favorite wine(Silver Oak), how could I not order it? My main course was the Silver Oak Brined New Zealand Lamb Rack with Rosemary Gnocchi. The lamb chops was a perfectly cooked medium rare with overtones of the Silver Oak Cabernet and perfectly seasoned. The lamb chops were not French cut as you might expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Frenching the rack is time consuming, but offers such a better presentation and ease of eating. I was not a fan of the gnocchi. Don’t mean to be overly critical, but it was too soft and did not have the classic pillow shape. The flavor was ok and the rosemary was obvious. Side note #2: In the middle of this course, I dropped another fork on the floor. The server quickly grabbed one from a vacant table to replace it. Also ordered for main course in our party was the Jump Lump Crab Cakes, which came as two large crab cakes and a grilled ½ artichoke. Another dish ordered was the Cornmeal Crusted Florida Yellow Tail Snapper. Both were nicely presented and seemed to be liked very much by my party. Side note #3: Sensing a pattern, the server was carrying a backup fork to replace the 3rd one I dropped on the floor. LMAO. How could I possibly drop 3 forks in a single seating? Maybe it was all the wine we were drinking, which, I didn’t spill a drop of. Although we were all full from dinner and happy on the wine, we decided we might as well gorge ourselves and order dessert. We ordered the Chocolate S’mores Profiteroles, Coffee Caramel Crème Brulee and another dessert name that has slipped my mind. Again, all were nicely presented and capped off the night very well. Service here is an 11 on a scale of 1 – 5. Although I was hyper critical about the food, it is actually quite outstanding, so still gets a 5.

Such a special and unique place! You don’t find many places like Twenty Twenty Grille these days: Family run, fine dining establishments with exquisite attention to detail and customer service. A married couple, Ron and Rhonda own and operate Twenty Twenty. I believe both are trained chefs but Rhonda deftly takes care of the front of the house, while Ron expertly runs the back. That does not mean that you never see Chef Ron. We actually saw him walking around the dining room quite often, handing out the amuse bouches or intermezzos and mingling with guests. I had a good impression immediately during the reservation process. When I first called to make a reservation there was a message saying I could leave a message or go on Open Table. I decided to go on Open Table. While I was on Open table, looking at the lack of tables available for my desired time frame, Rhonda called me back even though I had not left a message. She told me that she would do her best to fit us in. She got back to me within a couple of hours to let me know we were in! Rhonda was very patient with us. First I requested an indoor table. Then I changed it to an outdoor table. When we arrived we were a little warm outdoors so we asked to go inside. Even though there was another party arriving an hour later, Rhonda offered to let us sit inside until they arrived. Luckily, we never had to move! Our server was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. Because the menu changes seasonally, some of the items I had read about in Unilocal reviews were not available(no Diver Scallop or Pork Belly Dumplings). Husband and I debated over our appetizer choices and finally decided on the House Smoked Seafood Sausage and the Smoked Duroc Pork Belly. I really wish we could do a «do-over» on these choices as they really fell short for me. The sausage was the better of the two. Even so, I found it to have little flavor and a texture that was too crumbly for me. The sauces did help it, especially the Apricot Mango Preserve. I did not care for the Thai Chili Pesto as much. The Pork Belly was served with a Kim Chee Pancake, Chili Ginger Glaze, and Candied Bacon. I just found the Pork Belly, even with the accompaniments, to be pretty dry and flavorless. Luckily, Chef redeemed himself with our entrees. Husband ordered the New Zealand Lamb Rack. I do not eat lamb, but husband said it was fantastic. The lamb was served with Rosemary Gnocchi. These were different than other gnocchi I have had. They were more like little potato pillows. They were delicate and delicious. My main was one of the best dishes I have eaten in a long time! I chose the HOC(Hangover Cured) Duck Breast because its preparation and accompaniments looked so savory and unique. The duck is coffee rubbed with a spiced rum demi, and served with Confit Hash, Foie Gras French Toast, Squash Purée, and a Quail Egg Over Easy. OMG! Our server said this dish is whimsically called«Hangover Cured«because it has everything in it you would want to eat when you have a hangover. I can see why! The«breakfast oriented» dish was just full of so many textures and complex flavors. The duck itself was perfectly smoked and so full of flavor that you can eat it without the demi or accompaniments. It was also so tender you barely needed a knife to cut it. Everything else on the plate just added to its deliciousness, and it was a joy to mix and match different combinations on your fork. The qual egg was such a tasty morsel! It went so well with the foie gras french toast… so decadently delicious! We passed on desserts as nothing on the dessert menu really appealed to us. However we were served a special anniversary treat, a nut brittle cookie with fresh whipped cream. It was a nice touch that made our night even more special. So was it perfect? No. However, I truly enjoyed our evening. I appreciated all the aspects of this fine dining experience: The impeccable service, the chef’s creative flair, the intimate atmosphere. This is definitely a place I would return to for special occasions in the future.

Don’t Go Here on a Holiday! Went here last night for New Year’s Eve. Pros: got to sit with good friends and enjoy their company for almost 4 hours. Cons: took nearly four hours to be served a four-course meal. Food — very small portions, mediocre at best. Service — dim.

Couple of items — Noisy for sure, annoyingly noisy depending on the co-diners For Boca this would be 4.5 star pricing, 3.5−5 star taste, and no way, inside or out to handle the issues related to the small dining experience. Owners — Very friendly, proud and hospitable for sure. I have to say though, based on a fair dining experience, higher than fair price, and noisy where a family almost sounds like a fraternity, I won’t go back. If you love that or suffer fro hearing loss, or if I did, this would be a four star experience. Not a five, not a 6 as one person says.

What a strange, expensive, pokey little place. Tiny portions, average service and some really strange sorbet, apparently made from whatever vegetable is currently in abundance in the kitchen. It’s not the classy restaurant which it would seem from the prices they charge. It’s just a café without a full bar. There are many good restaurants within half a mile of 20⁄20 which serve excellent food at half the price.

5 star all the way! I don’t know how anyone could rate it any different. If you appreciate unique top chef creations, this is the place to go. The only possible negative is how close you sit to other people due to the limited space in the restaurant. You get over that really quick because the food and service are the best I’ve had in years. Their menu changes every 8 weeks so it is always new and fresh. The fusion of flavors in every dish is nothing short of genius. They begin with freshly baked breads and a house made butter. The butter flavor last night was crème brûlée. I didn’t think it was possible butter could taste so good. I was so intrigued by every item on the menu, I asked the chef to choose for me. I had the skirt steak that was encrusted in some sort of smoked ham flavor and it was to die for. My husband had scallops with a pork belly fried rice… delicious! My new favorite restaurant in Boca.

The more I explore East Boca, the more impressed I get by the number of places to go to capture new experiences in dining. Thanks to a very dear friend who lives in East Boca and appreciates good food and service, he has been kind enough to introduce all these places I never knew existed. All family owned, small restaurants from different cultural backgrounds. Twenty Twenty Grille is the ultimate dinner experience especially for a special evening with a significant other, or looking to impress? Make this the first date for someone you really care about. Twenty Twenty is located in Royal Palms Place and is owned by Ron and Rhonda Weisheit who both have years of extensive culinary experience in the Northeast and graduated very successfully from two top Culinary Institutions in the country. They, together, took their Culinary experience and created the PERFECT formula at Twenty Twenty. The restaurant is small and extremely intimate, seating 20 inside and 20 outside, and in my opinion is what gives this place TOP service and great quality American Cuisine. I use the term American Cuisine lightly because Ron and Rhonda, both outstanding chefs, take American Cuisine to another level. They do not miss a beat. When you approach the entrance of Twenty Twenty, you walk through the outdoor dining area. I immediately got the feel of something special ahead. Besides the heat and humidity we are experiencing in South Florida, the outside dining area is as intimate as the inside, not just an «afterthought» like some places. I could of easily been seated in this nice cozy area and had the very same experience as sitting inside. Walking through the front door to the inside you capture beautiful artistry all around you. On the left wall you can’t help to notice a beautiful and interesting piece that has special meaning to Ron and Rhonda and this was put on this wall with extended artistry from the original piece on the wall. Ron, being as personable and proud as one great Chef can be came over to our table several times and towards the end of our meal explained the history of this piece and the meaning to them and what they represent here. You can ask Ron or Rhonda yourself and they will not be too shy to tell you all about it. The other piece to this great atmosphere was how they displayed their wines, and do they have extensive inventory with lots to pick from. This made their huge floor to ceiling wine display on the other side of the restaurant a «masterpiece» in the eyes of wine drinkers and expectations of great things to come. Even though we were able to bring our own bottle of wine, we also wanted to try something from their collection. Our server immediately came over to greet us and welcomed us warmly and got us started. Opened the wine, chilled it on the table for us and served us fabulous bread served with a great flavored spread, not regular butter. There was no rush here from them as we only wanted to order our appetizers, drink some wine and contemplate what to order from their outstanding menu. I ordered the Foie Gras Pan Roasted Diver Scallop. Large, very tender Scallop served with white fennel purée and Blackberry Candy. The flavor was amazing. My wife had the Bib Salad. Simple, crunchy Bib lettuce and tomato. Before and after the appetizers were served, we tasted two Amuse Bouche tastings. The first before the appetizer, Chilled Tomato Gazpacho, and before the main course, a refreshing pomegranate, rosemary sorbet. The main courses are still a topic of conversation since we left there. First, my wife ordered the Sea Bass, which was so moist and flavorful. My wife is very picky about fish, and she thought this was the best prepared Sea Bass she ever had. I was determined before I got there to order one of two dishes: either the Veal Rib Chop or the Silver Oak Brined Lamb Rack. Well I picked a winner. I am still bragging to everyone how great this Silver Oaked Brined New Zealand Lamb Rack was. Served with balsamic tomato, the Lamb was brined with Cabernet, served with gnocchi over a peppered lamb reduction. This was literally the most lean and flavorful Rack of Lamb I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many because Rack of Lamb is one of my faves. The portion was unusually large, juicy, lean meat; nothing I’ve ever experienced. If you are a Lamb lover, this is a MUST. The deserts are as creative and intense as the rest of the meal. We had a delicious Banana Foster’s Crème Brulee; Cinnamon Custard with Caramelized Banana, and also ordered the Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Profiteroles; strawberry ice cream covered with a delicious homemade fudge sauce. We split both between four of us. If one was to write a book about the most perfectly run restaurant, save time and just experience Twenty Twenty. You are welcomed with impeccable service, atmosphere that makes you want to order a great bottle of wine and pick the best possible courses to your liking, not to miss anything. A Winner

AMAZING!!! Love this place. The chef and his wife make the dining experience very unique. He creates small plates and distributes them throughout your meal(for free) as a sensory dining tasting. When I made my reservation I asked for a semi-private table and they gave us a table surrounded by tall plants that was really nice. They also created a caramel salted candy for a birthday dessert-it was fantastic The restaurant is located in a small quiet corridor in a shopping center and when I was there you could hear a nearby live band. I would suggest getting an appetizer as it’s just one chef and possibly a sous chef serving the entire restaurant. I have zero complaints.

When my best friend asked me where I wanted to go for my birthday dinner I knew the answer immediately. Sadly, that restaurant was closed for a private event so I had to choose elsewhere. Thankfully I turned to my Unilocal app and started browsing my bookmarks. I picked out 5 places that sounded great and sent them to my best friend so that he could pick and surprise me. TwentyTwenty was his choice. The dinner really started off with reservations being made, and although I had no part in that, my best friend said Rhonda was extremely pleasant on the phone and when we arrived she immediately greeted us by name and showed us to our table. We opted to dine outside on their patio which was a bit warm, but the fans offset the heat enough. Definitely dress«cool» if you wish to dine outside. We started off with a bottle of Rose, which was perfect for the summer heat. Their wine list is quite impressive and spans from bottles at ~$ 38 all the way north of $ 100, they also feature some local beers. We took some time to read over the menu, but found the servers to be most useful in this department. They were definitely experts on the menu(impressive since the menu changes frequently) and easily guided out decision making. Orders were placed and bread was brought to the table. Seems like the butter changes frequently as well(gotta love a Chef with my same mindset in life to never get bored) and we thoroughly enjoyed our French Toast butter! Next up, the amuse bouche whose real description escapes me, but I do remember white grape and grapefruit. Very tasty and will be incorporated into the next menu. Then the appetizers. We were torn in this section but eventually settled on the Diver Scallop and Foie Gras, as well as the Pork Belly Dumplings. Surprisingly the Dumplings actually won for me over Foie Gras! If you got the perfect forkful of cucumber, dumpling, sauces, ginger caviar etc, well this was heaven! A palate cleansing sorbet was next. We’re pretty miserable at guessing flavors and I swear I tasted basil lol, but turns out the combo was banana/pineapple/goji berries/cabbage. Simply perfect. Then the entrees. Again, we had some trouble making a decision here(really doesn’t help when your staff makes everything sound so wonderful lol) but went with the Rack of Lamb and the Sea Bass Vermicelli. Both dishes had such deep and rich flavor profiles, it was hard to pick my favorite, but I must comment on how absolutely tender the lamb was! To cap off the night — dessert, with a special birthday message and candle which was sweet :) Of course the British girl in me had to get the Sticky Toffee Pudding, and I was able to steer the other selection in my favor as well and get the Cheesecake Crème Brulee. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was good, but not quite as sticky as I like it lol, but the Crème Brulee was perfection! Grand total for all of that — less than $ 200, so quite an affordable special night out! TwentyTwenty is definitely a special restaurant and you can tell everyone there is passionate about the food. Both of our servers made the experience top notch, and I’ll definitely be back. Now that I’m on the mailing list I’ll be able to get emails about menu changes which definitely excites a foodie like me!
