Excellent atmosphere with quality cocktails. I wish their menu was a bit larger. Though the bartender did say it would change seasonally. They have darts which is cool and often have guest djs. Music and vibe is fun and intimate. Great neighborhood joint.

Went here last night for a night cap. Drinks were on point(one of the best bourbon old fashioned I’ve ever had), music was great. We played darts… which requires a $ 10 deposit. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but I think that’s what adds to the charm of it all. Will definitely be back. And the best part is, it’s right around the corner from my gym

Love this place! Great music, and awesome atmosphere. They have DJs spinning great tunes almost every night of the week, and they showcase a variety of different music genres during the month. There’s also a vintage jukebox where the selection changes monthly, and a dart room, which you cannot find anywhere anymore. The cocktails are delicious and innovative, made by a courteous and knowledgeable bar staff. I highly recommend checking this place out. Its drinks only, but the same owners have the restaurant next door, Building on Bond, so you can grab eats there if you get hungry.

Great new bar in the downtown Brooklyn area. As a space it is awesome, I love the tunes they play with the DJ and their 70s era jukebox is legit. However, I was a little put off by the brusque nature of the bartenders. They did not seem especially happy or willing to talk, I understand if they are in the weeds serving drinks on a busy evening but I thought they could have been a little warmer. Plus, the cocktail menu is expensive but doesn’t look that interesting especially for the dreaded $ 13 price point. Well cocktails aren’t safe either — those are like $ 8. Their house beer is a good way to go if you’re just here to chill with friends. Final note, the pretzels/trail mix that they give out at the bar is ridiculous, I think there’s pork rinds or something inside and it’s glorious.

Great place, great drinks. It’s by the same people as Building on Bond next door(mind blown when you realize that BoB is short for Robert), and sometimes you just want drinks instead of going to a bar at a restaurant. With that in mind, Robert delivers. They have great and inventive cocktails. My favorites were The Fez(rye, orange, and sage with a Laphroaig float) and The Olde Engine Driver(Scotch, Rum and vermouth). Bartender is a cool guy, and they have a free jukebox with mostly oldies. They also have a turntable where one of the staff members will spin some vinyl. Great vibes all around. They have darts in the side room, but when we went, it was closed for a charity event. Seems like a great date spot, even though a bunch of us just stopped by to bro out.

This place is great from the amazing juke box to the dominos on the ceiling. My wife and I stopped in for a drink and ended up staying for three and then ordering food from their brother bar Bob next door. The Bartender Ramon was what made us hangout for so long. Just a really good guy and supper helpful in directing us on what to drink and even on our food order. If I lived in this neighborhood I’d be a regular.

Cute place, nice atmosphere, glad it’s in the neighborhood. Cocktails are only OK, but priced as high-end craft cocktails($ 13). Beers are $ 1 – 2 too much($ 7 cans!). Biggest problem is how long it takes to get a drink, because the bartenders seem to spend about 2⁄3 of their time chatting with people at the bar and only 1⁄3 actually making drinks — even when there are several pending orders. I’ve also observed two different bartenders here repeatedly touching their face/hair, and in one case a dog, and then making drinks(including touching ice) without washing their hands.

When I heard about Robert, a cocktail bar literally right around the corner from my apartment, was opening, I could hardly contain my excitement! Admittedly, I was nervous it wouldn’t live up to my standards but I was wrong. I’ve only come once so far and already am in love! Between my husband and I, we tried 4 different cocktails at $ 13 each. They were each unique, delicious, and strong! My personal favorite: Cold Engine Driver Bar seating available if you’re looking to watch the bartenders work or have a one-on-one chat with a friend. Some small tables and seats in the main room are available as well if you have a slightly bigger group. If you want more action, there’s a side room containing dart boards(awesome!) and a bunch of stools too! From the beautiful working jukebox to the amazing ceiling made of dominos, Robert the perfect place for a cocktail(beer and wine available too)! Would be awesome if they served food or even mini snacks via Building on Bond, a restaurant right next door, run by the same owners I believe.
